I am an author of a fantasy work, Melody and the Pier to Forever, some of which can be read online gratis.

My interest in fantasy is limited to only those works that very close, trusted friends point out to me. Most fantasy can be reduced to "Two Hot Chicks and a Dragon" pablum or fan fiction. Writing unique fantasy is thus difficult, because it's so rare.

As far as sci-fi is concerned, I once read lots of Larry Niven, but quit when his third Ringworld offering sucked. Inferno was his opus, but few know about it.

Most of what turns me on is the authentic human condition, one free of herdism and corporate-speak. It's what I write about as well.
