My friend and i have been wondering this..earth as your primitve speicies call it now for eons before time. I have traveled to many worlds in this enormous span of time and seen many a civilization. But this one has potential unlike any other i have seen before. So i am content to stay in this..place for a while at least and see if these apes can overcome their own issues and realize what potential they truly have.
Until that time i will wait.
