If you've been on Elfwood frequently through the years, you may have bumped into me. I'm nothing extraordinary, though I'd like to think otherwise; don't most of us anyway?

That's what it comes down to, ultimately... Escapism. I'm an escapist, a paradise seeker, A century child, a caged nightingale longing for fantasy's release... An Ocean Soul. Fantasy is where I find myself free. Maybe it's pathetic, but it's worked all these years and I function just fine in the real world when I must.

It's not a debilitating fixation, just a fanciful preoccupation when my thoughts need a safe haven for wandering.

I love violins, mandolins, and symphonic rock/opera metal. I've been labeled as a nerd; parties? I love parties... LAN parties, that is.

I spend what could well be 50% of my waking hours growling at/weeping in front of my computer, 25% of my waking hours depending heavily on the treacherous machine, and the remaining 25% having a life... if that's what folks are calling college presently.

A miscellaneous portion of that last percentage is also donated to D&D, annoying the snot out of acquaintances, parodying life, and eating. Don't forget bathroom breaks.
