Kampfer, the Redeemer
A dark figure roamed the forest on silent paws, creeping forward towards prey that is unaware, not realizing the eyes of a predator were on its backside. Suddenly the stalking being's ears flicked up, and slightly to the right, ignoring as the deer startled at the movement and leapt off into the shadows.
Your fate calls you, whispered a voice in the back of her head, her sage eyes glowing slightly when she caught light from the moon. Silently she sped off, running on all fours towards an unknown location, following the soft tolling of bells in the distance.
Up farther North...
"Hey!" The barkeeper yelled, annoyed. "You've been here all night! I'm callin' your tab! PAY UP!" He stared angrily at a figure, sitting in the corner of the bar. He sat there, starting at the table before him, at his many empty glasses of beer. "Hey! Did you hear me you little dip shit?! PAY UP OR-" The barkeeper was cut short, the figure moved swiftly from the corner up to the barkeeper, his paws around the keeper's throat. The keeper looked into the wolf's one eye, as the other was covered by his eyepatch. "I'm not in the mood to listen to your vocal cords vibrate you little bastard..." the wolf said softly yet with a great feel of anger. "I'd suggest you be patient... or I'll take your ability to wait away from you..." The wolf planted his other paw on the counter, filled with his bill, and walked out of the tavern.
Running as fast as she dared, the bells pushed her towards a town, in which she brushed herself off carefully and walked in upright. It was quite late, and in the darkness, everyone was on edge in this border town. The moon winked, as clouds pass over it, and the feminine figure was already up the street, listen to voices no one could hear but her. Rounding a bend, she barely made a sound as she spotted someone exiting a tavern. She remained in shadow as per the wishes of the bells.
The timber wolf stood out in the street, pulling out his wallet to view a picture of his lover. After taking a second to view it, he closes his wallet to place it into his pocket. He pulls out a ceder cigar, lighting it and putting it in his mouth before staring up at the night sky. The wolf stood unmoving, keeping his single eye fixed on the stars. He felt eyes upon him, but thought nothing of it. From out of the shadows walked a human, with a large jacket, and the kind of hat you might find while window shopping in a fancy market. He walked out with a knife, holding it out towards the wolf. "Are you... Kampfer?" The wolf did nothing, ignoring the aggressor. The man with the knife walked closer, pulling his arm back a bit to stab at the wolf. Before the man knew it, his knife hand was locked, his wrist being held by the wolf, and the other paw against the mans elbow. ".... why, yes it is..." the wolf quietly answered, before thrusting his hand into the mans elbow and snapping his arm backwards.
The female's ear twitched at that, a paw drifted lightly over the handle of one of her tomahawks, but did not move. She was commanded to wait, which she did so without question. Her fate was not for this human; it was entwined with something else.
The man stumbled away in pain, dropping the knife. Kampfer watches as he disappears back into the shadows. From behind him came another voice, one he recognized so well. "I don't know why i send these people after you... it's so pointless, yet so amusing to watch..." Kampfer turned around to see a black timber wolf standing on top of the tavern. "I have to admit, you taken care of our body..." "It's not your body.." Kampfer quickly replied. "It's mine... you don't belong inside of it..." The figure smirked, and jumped off the building, and landed in front of Kampfer. He cracked his neck and smiled evilly. "I think you should let me back in..."
Stepping out of the shadows with her hackles raised, the rusty spotted cat hissed, "I think not, Demon!" Somewhere in the distance a bell tolled, echoed by a few of the smaller bells dotting her attire. She did not approach closer, instead held her ground off to the side keeping an eye on both Kampfer, and the embodiment of evil. She was not wearing that much, having tribal roots off in the forest instead of living in civilization and had both her weapons out, as well as a coiled ribbon at her waist, holding strings of silent bells. "My fate has called me here," Her feminine voice soft, and barely reaching them.
The black wolf turns his head, glaring with eyes of pure red. "Oh look Kampfer... we have a sexy kitten watching us... " Kampfer didn't move, his eye fixed on his demonic rival. The black wolf turned back. "Maybe when I get back in there we can rape her..." Kampfer glared and took the cigar out of his maw. "And people wonder why I removed you from me.."
The female snarled, "A grave mistake." Letting the tomahawks slip from her paws, they fell only to land upright and carved into the cobblestones. She hunched over, a soft glow encompassing her as she gripped the end of the ribbon and pulled it in front of her. Light green and gray light spread along its length as it went taunt. Whipping it sideways, she let out a grunt and a half moon shape flashed into existence and flew with great speed towards the dark being.
The demonic wolf raised his paw at the female, flattening it out towards her. A thin purple sheet of energy appeared in front of him, creating a small barrier. Kampfer, stood idly by, smoking his cigar again, waiting and watching as if it were all one giant show. He wanted to see the power this cat-like female wielded.
Twisting, the ribbon curled as the power strike turned in midair and avoided the shield, coming at him from behind. At the last second the wielder slammed the bells to the ground. The power slice shattered into a lot of miniatures, coming at him from all sides now. Eye's flashing sage, she knew he would not be able to hold all of them off.
The wolf let the shield fall, twisting around a bit to look at his surroundings. Time seemed to slow, as the wolf brought his arms in. They began to glow a deep purple, growing up around his arms entirely. The energy built, as he waited for the small enemies to get that much closer.
