This page is in honor of my Mom!

The first member of my family and the one that has had the greatest influence in my life, is my Mother! I can't think of anyone that I could possibly adore more, than my Mother.

 What words do I write? What words can I say?
 About my dear Mother, when there is really no way....
 To adequately state, to totally uphold,
 A real superwoman which never gets told.
 The credit she deserves cannot be explained.
 Exault her I do for she's truly ordained.
 Her spirit is relentless. Her courage so great.
 With a heart so big I can only elate.
 Her will is astounding though her mountains are steep.
 Her compassion's abounding. Her integrity runs deep.
 With endurance so endless and vitality...did I mention?
 Perseverance, she has plenty, her best...her intention.
 A greater compliment I could never receive...
 Compared with my mother? Truly, I can't even perceive
 For she is unique, surely one of a kind.
 For one, even remotely, like her...never could find!
 My dear Mother I honor. My dear Mother I praise.
 The Lord, always, He's with her for she lives by His ways.
 Never shall I know again, one so dear and true.
 My dearest, most beloved friend, I truly, deeply love YOU!!!

The birthday card I made for my Mom...9/6/05!

I wrote this poem to go with my Mom's Birthday card...9/6/05!

Dearest Mom,

             - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
             The prettiest flower in the garden
              With you could not compare,
             'Cause your the sweetest blossom
              A bloom that's pure and rare!
             With a heart so full of kindness
              With which you pollinate the air
             With a spirit that is endless,
              You spread petals everywhere.
             If this ol' world had more of you,
              'Twould be a much brighter place,
             Because you sow the seeds of love
              As you walk within His Grace!

 For many reasons I love you!
 You're there for me always, through and through...
 My many troubles, my triumphs, as well!
 You're the best there is. I must tell.
 In all the world and in heaven, awaits,
 A pair of wings laced with gold
 You're blessed by God,
 So let it be told.
 You've done your best
 With a loving zest.
 Your efforts to make life better for others,
 Not just for my sisters and my brothers,
 Are ongoing with little self gain.
 So I'll gladly say I love you, again and again.
