Yuki gave a thumbs up, he was clearly to tired to respond.

Jace smiled and waved at Yuki before going off to the dining room, again.

Jack carried Yuki into the room, "Are you tired?"

Yuki blinked his eyes open. "Huh?"

"I guess that's a yes." Jack said with a smile as he laid Yuki on one of the beds.

"Mmmhmmf" is all Yuki replied as he rolled over and snuggled into the blanket.

Jack chuckled as he went to the other bed and laid down.

Will awakens after a few hours of sleep. 'I guess I could walk around a bit' Will thought to himself as he walked out of his and Sam`s room.

Anna/Loki/Alan/Alex:

"He doesn't know....his earliest memory is of Jace and I unburying him." Anna replied walking with them.

"Unburying him?" Loki repeated curiously.

"So he could have family." Alex said.

"Don't think so, the building we unburied him from was badly burned it was amazing that he was alive." Anna stated.

"That is amazing." Alan said feeling bad for David now.

"Wow, that's awful." Alex said.

Loki got teary eyed again, "Now I feel bad."

"I don't know he doesn't seem to let it affect him." Anna said with a slight smile. "He's a strange kid."

"Well, he might be bottling it up so he doesn't worry anyone." Alex said.

"Well couldn't that be even worse?" Alan asked curiously.

"Yeah, it's not good to keep things bottled up." Loki said as Snowball meowed in agreement.

"Hmm true....I did ask him about it once.....all he said was, 'Well I don't remember anything and most likely what family I have is dead...So in way..The past I had no longer exists.' It worried me a little but in a way he had a point." Anna stated.

"He does, but what if he's not telling you the truth?" Alex asked.

"Well the only way to find out is to ask, but I doubt he'd tell any of us." Alan said.

"If we feed him cake he might, but that might not be a very good idea." Loki said.

"I have wandered if he remembers something when he's like that, but he acts to strange when he's like that." Anna replied.

"He kept calling Jace mommy." Alex said.

"And he said something about daddy, but don't know if he was talking about yours or not." Alan said.

"Maybe he does remember." Loki said thoughtful.

"What who did he call daddy, cause usually that's a bad sign from what I've seen." Anna asked.

"I think he was talking about your dad, he did say it after he heard his voice." Alex said thinking back.

"Yeah, he did." Alan said with a nod.

"My...my father?.....maybe it wasn't bad this time." Anna reassured herself.

"Well I guess we'll never know." Alex said.

"Well we might if he gets closer to us." Alan said.

"So can I still stay in your room Anna?" Loki asked.

Anna snickered." Of course!"

"I'm glad." Loki said with a smile.

"Yeah, and I think we shouldn't tell David about this, he might get mad again." Alan said.

"Don't worry, I'm sure he'll get over it." Alex said with a chuckle.

"Haha maybe he wanted to sleep with you!" Anna teased.

Loki blinked, "What?! Is he gay?" He said confused as Alex chuckled.

"Hehehe I was teasing.......I don't really know which way he goes." Anna answered.

"You've never asked?" Loki asked curiously.

"Nope.... It wasn't really need to know....... Although.... It would make sense... Since he spends all his time with Jace." Anna's eyes got wider and wider as she said this.

"I think they're just friends, or more like brothers." Alex said chuckling at Anna's face.

"Yeah, I think you're jumping to a conclusion Anna." Loki said.

"Yeah..hehe your right...I freak out some times when I'm tired..hehe" Anna laughed a bit as she stopped in front of the door to Alan and Alex's room.

"Well that can happen when it's so late." Alex said with a chuckle.

"Yeah, I guess." Alan said.

"Is this their room?" Loki asked looking from Alex and Alan to the dorm room.

"Yep." Anna answered with a slight smile.

"Oh, so I guess this is good night then?" Loki said sadly.

"Don't worry, we'll see you later." Alex said with a smile ruffling Loki's hair.

"Yeah." Alan said smiling.

Anna winked at Loki as she was Alex & Alan.

Loki smiled, "I look forward to seeing you guys again."

"Yeah, us too." Alex and Alan said at the same time.

They could hear mumbling through the door.

"What's that?" Alex asked curiously.

"Is someone in there?" Alan asked.

"Sounds like it." Loki said leaning closer to the door.

"Come on Meko they are way late and I'm tired!" "Wha..what Maniko they should be here soon and...besides we can't leave the cake David would eat it!"

Alex blinked, "That sounds like..." He began as he opened the door.

"Meko and Maniko?" Loki said as he saw them. "What are they doing in your room?"

Alan blinked in surprise.

There was a happy birthday banner party poppers, a cake, music, presents and some food.

"Oh uhh HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALAN!!" Meko called. "Yeah Happy B-day!"Maniko added.

"You did this for me?" Alan asked looking around.

"Of course, unless there's another Alan around here." Alex said with a chuckle.

"Oh, it's your birthday?" Loki said looking over at Alan who looked a bit uncomfortable.

"Yep! Well it was Anna's idea actually..." Maniko said.

Alan looked at Anna then back at the twins, "You guys didn't have to go to so much trouble."

"Well if they wanted to do it it's not trouble, is it?" Alex said smiling.

"Exactly." Anna & Maniko replied.

"Well I guess so." Alan said.

"Get in there and enjoy your party." Alex said pushing Alan into the room all the way.

"I'll cut the cake." Meko said running over to a triple decker cake which looked more like a wedding can then a birthday.

Jace knocked before sticking his head in the doorway. "Did we miss much?"

"Nope." Loki said smiling.

"That looks more like a wedding cake than a birthday cake, is that hinting at something?" Alex asked with a smirk.

Alan said nothing as he watched Meko cut the cake.

Siven was standing behind Jace with David.

"Welcome!" Meko said To Jace and David not noticing Siven. "I'm not good at birthday cakes!" Maniko replied.

"Hey, who's she?" Loki asked curiously as he spotted Siven.

Alex turned around to look at Siven, "Why is she holding David's hand?"

"Oh, she's a werecat too." Alan said blinking.

"Hi everyone, I'm Siven... And I'm David's little sister." Siven said smiling and waving with her free hand.

"Oh uh Siven this is Alex, Alan, A.k.a. the birthday boy, Loki, Anna, Meko, and Maniko." David said motioning to them in order.

"Hello everyone, nice to meet you all." Siven said smiling happily.

"Hello Siven." Alan said smiling politely.

"Hi Siven, uh... Where's your shoes?" Alex asked curiously.

"It's nice to meet you too." Loki said bowing politely. "Oh, this is Snowball." He said as Snowball meowed.

"I can't remember where I put my shoes." Siven said, her eyes brightened as she saw Snowball. "KITTY!" She said running forward and petting Snowball.

Anna smiled at the young girl. "Heheha nice to meet you too." She then went over to Jace. "We're finding a lot of family members...so how'd you find the Siven?"

Jace shrugged and murmured to Anabell. "She snuck into the south kitchen and recognized David when we found her. Though, even without my nose, it's obvious they're related..." He gestured to Siven petting snowball. "By the way, add one more relative to the list. The gunner you found is Alex's litter mate."

"Wait..I found one of your brothers...and he's Alex's litter mate?" Anna asked happily.

"Yeah, but they got separated real young, so it's best that Jack does the explainin' when they meet tomorrow." Jace nodded to Anabell.

"Right." Anna said giving Jace and David a quick hug, clearly a "I'm happy for you" hug.

"He's such a pretty cat." Siven said her tail flicking as she petted Snowball who was purring.

"Thanks, I've had him for three years." Loki said with a smile.

"Do you think they're really related?" Alan asked curiously.

Alex chuckled as he watched Siven pet Snowball, "Yeah, I think it's safe to say they're related."

David smiled at Anna before running over to pat Snowball too. "Hey pretty kitty."

Jace leaned against the wall, watching the "pups" with an absolutely ridiculous-looking grin.

"He really is a pretty kitty." Siven said smiling as she continued to pet Snowball.

"I think he likes you both." Loki said as Snowball purred louder loving the attention he was getting.

"I think he just loves the attention." Alex said with a chuckle.

"Isn't that kind of the same thing?" Alan asked.

David's attention suddenly turned to Siven as he stood straght up."It looks soooo sooffttt." He said as he reached over and started patting Siven's ear and hair.

"And he found it wrong that I wanted to sleep with Loki?" Anna said looking at David.

Siven's tail flicked as she closed her eyes and purred happily like a cat.

"I'm just glad he didn't try to pet my ears." Loki said as he looked at David.

'I wonder if this is considered incest.' Alan wondered curiously.

Alex chuckled, "She so adorable, it's like she's a cat." He whispered.

"Your...just..SO ADORABLE!!" David said as he pick up, hugged Siven.

Will hears sounds of a party going on and walks over to the door. “I'm not interrupting anything am I?” Will asked as he walked in.

Siven purred happily and nuzzled David's cheek as she hugged him back.

"Nope, just a birthday party with a little love fest going on." Alex said with a chuckle as he watched David and Siven.

"Yeah..." Alan said looking at and admiring the cake. "So did you two make this cake with Edda?"

"Yes I did!" Maniko Said handing him a piece.

"It looks delicious." Alan said smiling as he took the cake from her.

“I never did get to celebrate my own birthday now that I think about it,” Will said as he leaned against the wall.

"I honestly don't understand the appeal." Jace shrugged beside Will. "But it usually makes the pups happy."

Anna glared at Will and Jace. "You two... really? It is a party lighten up and have some fun!" She said smiling at them now, then turned to Alan. "Are you enjoying yourself?"

"Uh, yeah. It's ok." Alan said smiling.

Alex chuckled, "Really, you've never seen an appeal to getting gifts and eating cake?"

"Never saw a cake until I was 'bout 20 years old." Jace shrugged. "Sugar was hard to come by. And I'd rather watch other people get presents." He grimaced. "The only way you can watch your own reaction is if you stare into a mirror the entire time, and that just sounds creepy..."

“I`ll try, its just I have a bad memory of the last birthday party I had,” Will said as he tried not to think of that day.

Jace scowled at Will. "Can't let one bad day follow you around like that."

"Not til you were 20? Really?" Alex said blinking.

"May I have a piece of cake too?" Loki asked looking up at Maniko.

Jace nodded. "That was when I joined the military. I couldn't believe my eyes when I met those soldiers and saw this building. Unlimited food, guns that didn't look like a couple a pipes welded together, a freakin' air conditioner and heater in every room! Pup, this place is paradise to me." He grinned wolfishly. "And my job just makes things fun on top a it all!"

Anna's smile faded for a few seconds as she listened then it returned. "Here you go Loki."

David snuck over to the cake looked back and fourth then motioned Siven over.

"Thanks Anna." Loki said taking the cake from her as Snowball balanced on his shoulder.

Siven smiled and seemed to glide as she went over to where David was.

Alex chuckled, "Paradise eh?"

Alan smiled as he watched everyone having fun, 'I wonder if I ever had moments like these before I became what I am now?'

Jace nodded at Alex before addressing David. "Don't think I can't see you over there, pup! You've had more than enough sugar for one day."

“My sister has said the same thing to me and I`ve tried to put it behind me,” Will said to Jace. “But it's hard to when I was responible for what happened.”

"Did you do it on purpose?" Jace raised an eyebrow at Will. "And whether or not you did, did ya try and fix it best you could?"

David shrank a bit before giving a piece to Siven.

“I had attacked a group of hunters for killing a werewolf and left one alive. Next thing I know my home was attacked and I was taken off to be exprimented on, I lost everyone except Raven and my brother,” Will said with his head down. “I did get the chance to fix what I had done and killed the hunter that killed my friends and parents 10 years later.”

"Doesn't sound much like a mistake to me." Jace mused. "More like a second chance that got taken advantage of. Least ya didn't give the guy a third one."

Siven smiled happily and kissed David's cheek to say thank you as she began to eat her cake.

Alex glanced over at David and Siven, but remained quiet wanting to see David act all crazy again.

Alan closed his eyes, 'I haven't tried to remember for a while... Maybe I can this time...' He thought as he tried to remember his past.

Will looks up with a half smile. “I try and take care of the people I consider my friends and family,” Will said to Jace. “Even if it means me almost dying to do it.”

"A true soldier's ideal." Jace said approvingly. "One to live and die by."

David looked over at Siven and smiled then turned to Will and Jace. "Hey, it's a party...enough depressing stuff, kay?"

Jace blinked. "Depressing? Given our lifestyles and jobs, I thought it was more admirable." He waved a hand dismissively and smiled. "But if you pups want some quiet while ya run around, fine."

“Sure and I`m Will one of the new recruits,” Will said with a smile now that he was feeling better.

Alan suddenly dropped his empty plate which shattered on the floor as he fell to the ground clutching his head in serious pain.

"Alan?!" Alex exclaimed as he ran over to him.

In about three long strides, Jace was crouched beside Alan and Alex, trying to check for blood or lacerations on Alan's head. "What's wrong?"

"Loki can ya heal him?" Anna asked going over to seat Alan in a chair.

“Are you ok Alan?” Will asked as he walked over to Alan.

"I don't know what's wrong with him." Loki said a bit worried as he looked Alan over.

"Oh no, what's wrong?" Siven asked looking scared as she went over to Alan.

Alan's face softened and he removed his hands as he panted softly, "S-Sorry..."

The second Alan's hands left his head, Jace's replaced them. Feeling around for a bump, an injury, anything. "...Nothing on the surface. Has this happened before?"

Alan nodded, "I-It only happens when I try to remember what my life was like before I was a vampire..."

Anna placed a hand on his shoulder, "You sure you're okay?"

"The pain in my head is gone... But I wish I could remember..." Alan said suddenly looking very sad.

"Yeah, the pain the comes and goes by trying to remember must be nothing compared to the pain of knowing you'll never know what happened before your vampire life started." Alex said placing his hand on Alan's other shoulder.

"Don't be sad Alan." Siven said as she hugged him.

"I don't think I can heal that." Loki said feeling bad he couldn't help his new friend.

Jace frowned a little, but stood up and stepped a little to the side to give the huddle of teenagers some breathing space.

“Some things are better left not remembered Alan. Just remember the people and friends around you now.” Will said putting a hand on Alan`s shoulder. “Cause these guys will be here for you no matter what.”

"I know, but I'm still curious." Alan said still a bit sad as he hugged Siven back.

"Well that is a normal reaction." Alex said feeling a bit bad as he rubbed his back gently.

"I know how you feel....it is hard..no matter what we say." David said as he sat down.

"Yeah, I guess it's kind of hard for us to understand when we've never lost our memories..." Alex said feeling worse as he sat next to Alan.

"Don't get sad too brother." Siven said as she went over to hug David instead.

"I'm okay." David assured Siven then grabbed a present."Hey pup you've got presents to open." He said as he gave Alan the present.

"I do?" Alan said as he took the present from David.

"Who's it from?" Siven asked as she sat down on the floor next to David.

"Annabell." David replied making Anna twitch.

"Oh, thanks Annabell." Alan said with a smile as he opened his presents and everyone around him leaned in to see what she had got him.

Two bottles were carefully pack in the box. "The red bottle contains an acid, which works on just about everything, but the gold bottle has a liquid that can heal any wound... _{not that a Vampire really needs it}." Anna explained.

"Oh, thanks." Alan said smiling at Anna.

"I guess that could come in handy." Alex said looking at the bottles carefully.

"Yeah, it really can." Loki said smiling and handing Alan another of his gifts.

"Oh, it's from the twins." Alan said looking at the card.

In the box was a stuffed animal that looked like a cross between a cat and a bat with cute little eye. "It is hand made." Maniko stated.

Alan stared at it for a few minutes before a huge smile crossed his face, "IT'S SO CUTE!"

"I agree." Siven said looking at the stuffed animal with a smile on her face.

"You guys must be great at sewing." Alex said looking at it.

Meko & Maniko looked at each other knowingly. "Yep, we have had years of practice!"

Alan smiled as he hugged the stuffed animal to his chest.

"Well I think it's Alan's favorite present." Alex said chuckling.

"Well acid isn't exactly a normal gift..." David snickered as Anna shot him a glare.

"Keep your mouth shut and pass another present." Anna replied. David happily passed the next present over.

Alan took the present and looked at the card, "Huh? It says it's from Betty..."

"I bet it's a reservation or tickets to something, she probably set you up on a blind date with one of her grandsons or something." Alex said chuckling.

Sure enough it was a free pass to one of the hard to get into kitchens, and a very nice outfit.

"I knew it!" Alex said chuckling as he looked over Alan's shoulder at the present.

Alan groaned softly before taking the outfit out of the box.

"Wow....Can't say that outfit isn't..interesting kinda old fashion though." Maniko said.

"I think he'll look cute in it." Siven said with a smile as she looked at the outfit.

"Yes adorable." Alex said chuckling which, along with Siven's comment made Alan blush.

"Here's one from Jace." David said passing it to him.

Jace blinked in confusion. "Wha?"

"Oh." Alan said taking the present from David and opening it.

It was a large box which had a very nicely made sheath in it.

"Wow! This is so cool." Alan said smiling happily.

"It is cool." Alex said smiling as he looked it over.

Jace leaned down to whisper in David's ear. "You did this, didn't you?"

"I have no idea what your talking about... It had your name on it." David whispered back, he was smiling.

Jace rolled his eyes. "Whatever you say, pup. Nice selection, though."

"Thanks Jace." Alan said smiling happily.

Alex smiled, "Is that all the presents."

"One more, it's from David!" Meko said.

"Oh, cool." Alan said smiling as he picked up the present and opened it.

The box contained a black trench coat. "You really should have a coat in this weather." David said.

"Well I don't really get cold, but it looks really cool so I'll wear it." Alan said with a smile as stood up and put it on. "It's a perfect fit."

"hmm... Turn around." Siven said with a smile.

"Uh, ok." Alan said turning around on the spot.

"It looks really good on you." Siven said smiling as she looked him over.

"Yeah, it makes you look really badass." Alex said smirking.

"Yo, pups." Jace called from where he was leaning against the wall. "Sunrise is in 'bout half an hour. Wrap things up and get some sleep."

David gave Jace puppy eyes then stopped. "No, your right some people haven't finished their paper work yet."

"I have a gift for Alan too." Siven said smiling.

"Really, but we just met." Alan said slightly confused.

"I know, but it's the best gift any one can get... The gift of friendship." Siven said smiling as she hugged Alan happily.

"Th-Thank you." Alan said blushing slightly as he hugged Siven back.

"Well I am tired." Alex said yawning.

"So, where am I going to sleep?" Siven asked.

"Yeah your probably right." Will said as he walked to the door.

Anna let out a yawn before turning to Siven. "I can take you to a room."

"Hey, Ana." Jace called. "Wouldja mind finding her a pair of shoes, too? Last thing we need is her wanderin' around and cuttin' her foot open."

"Could I stay with David?" Siven asked hopefully.

"Annabell, Siven could room with my sister. I'm sure Raven wouldn't mind," Will said as he stopped at the door.

Anna got a devilish grin. "Well Mattie isn't here right now.......and you haven't seen him in a long time...sure why not." She replied to Siven, then added. "What size shoe do you wear?"

David's face got slightly red. "Bu...but..she's a girl...an..and I'm a boy and we're older then ten...."

"Dude it will be fine. I had to share a room with my sister when we were kids," Will said to David.

Siven smiled happily, "YAY! Oh, I wear a nine."

Alex chuckled, "Aw, you're blushing cause your sister wants to sleep in the same room with you?"

"Wah?! N...no I'm not!" David replied but his face said otherwise.

Anna smiled and got into a bag that was by the door. "I always have a extra pair." She said turning around with a pair of shoes.

"OH! Thank you." Siven said smiling as she skipped over to Anna.

"Yes you are, how cute." Alex said teasingly.

"It's just your sister, what's wrong with sleeping in the same room?" Alan asked curiously.

Jace put a hand on David's shoulder. "It's only until we can set up something more permanent. Besides, it's not like she can stay there when Mattie gets back in a week or so."

"Ye..yeah but..is it really okay?" David asked not bothering to reply to Alex.

Jace shrugged. "I'm not sure what the human standpoint is, but my sister used to pounce on me and fall asleep like that. In fact, up until I was 'bout nine, we all sorta huddled together when it was cold out." He scratched the back of his head. "Then again we usually were in our wolf forms at the time to stay warm..."

"Hmph I dont need to lighten up...I need cake.. that's what I need!" David declared beginning to run to the southern kitchen. "Oh, but it would probably be closed.... I can go train!" He then turned to go to the training room.

"Yo, pup." Jace's hand clapped down on David's shoulder as his own shoulders broadened and his hair darkened again. "It's almost three in the morning. You shouldn't--" He paused and narrowed his eyes at David. "...On second thought, you look like you need to blow off some steam."

"Hmm I'm okay. So what are you up to?" David replied.

"Nothing, now." Jace shrugged. "Ana brought back a whole lotta recruits, but since it's kinda late we're not going to worry 'bout the paperwork 'til after they rest up." He grinned wolfishly. "After that, one of them's gotta meet Alex. He'll just worry and talk himself outta it if he waits too long..."

"Why's that." David asked.

"Turns out Alex wasn't a litter of one. His big bro was kidnapped when they were too little for him to remember." Jace frowned. "Come to think of it, that would be the first I've heard of one of Julian's pups being lost before he left. Maybe that's why he stayed..."

"Oh..." before David could continue his walkie talkie went off. "David and Jace there is a strange unfamiliar girl in the kitchen by you."

Jace's eyebrow twitched. "Why do they always assume we're together?" He sighed and headed for the south kitchen. "Let's get going."

"Probably because we are usually together. Yeah, but who the heck would be dumb enough to walk right into the facility and try to get something something to eat?" David asked.

"That's our job to find out, pup." Jace responded.

"Right." David responded as he went to open the door.

Siven:

Siven was walking down the street barefoot, she had no idea where she was or where her shoes were for that matter. 'It's so cold out here! Oh, there's a building, maybe I can go in to get out of the cold.' She thought as she skipped over to the building and went inside.

It was huge but there wasn't that many people.

"Wow, it's so big in here." Siven said as she looked around in awe.

A white rabbit ran pass her down a hall.

Siven squealed in delight, "BUNNY!" She said as she ran after the rabbit.

It slide into a room with a door that was just slightly opened.

"Bunny! Don't run! Come back!" Siven said as she followed him into the room.

She didn't see the bunny but she did notice that she was now in a kitchen.

'Oh, I wonder if they have anything to eat...' Siven thought as she looked around completely forgetting about the bunny.

She could still smell the food that had been cooked earlier.

Siven began looking for some food as her stomach growled hungrily.

Siven heared the door handle move.

Siven jumped and turned around, "Who is it?"

David turned to Jace before opening the door all the way. "She is the one trespassing...yet she asks us who we are." David then opened the door all the way.

Jace growled lowly at the newcomer. "You. You're not supposed to be here. Even new recruits aren't allowed in the main kitchens and you don't smell like anyone from this facility."

"I'm sorry, I came in cause it was cold outside... A-And then I saw a pretty little bunny and followed it in here." Siven said rubbing her leg with her barefoot.

David sighed as he went around Jace to look at the kid. "Why the heck are ya barefoot?"

"I can't remember where my shoes are." Siven said looking Jace and David over with a smile.

Jace scowled. "This place is high security and you say a rabbit led you in here?"

A sudden realization shown on Siven's face, "D-David?!" She said hugging David tightly.

Jace blinked in surprise at the show of recognition. "Wait a minute! Who the heck are you?!"

"Wha....hang on wh..who are you?" David asked then looked at Jace as if to ask if this was really happening.

"How can you not recognize your own little sister?" Siven asked tears forming in her eyes as she looked up at him.

"But...David's human..." Jace furrowed his brows before sniffing the air curiously.

"Our father was turned into a werecat. I waited for you to come find me, but you never did. What happened David?" Siven asked as she continued to hug David.

"I'm sorry but I dont really remember anything before three years ago." David said looking down at Siven, his face was a mix of sadness and apologies.

Satisfied that the two smelled related, Jace cleared his throat. "What's your name?"

"You don't?" Siven said looking sad again as she hugged David tighter and her tail wrapped around him. "My name is Siven."

"So what happened?" David asked.

"Well after dad turned into a werecat and tried to kill us, mom died trying to fight him off and then you had to kill dad to protect me... We had to leave because the villagers didn't like me cause I was a werecat, you said you'd be right behind me but you never came." Siven said.

"Ah I see....I don't know why I wouldn't have gone with you." David said looking away for a sec. "So....why are you here?"

Siven thought for a moment, "I don't remember, I just remember walking and then seeing this building and since it was cold I came in."

"If you've been walking that long..then you most be hungery."David said but it was more of a question.

Siven was about to answer when her stomach growled making her blush.

"That would be a yes." Jace said with a chuckle. "So what are ya hungry for?"

David looked sparkle eyed at Jace. "Ahhh your going to cook?"

Jace scratched the back of his head. "...Yeah. But don't give me that look. I'm not exactly a gourmet chef, y'know."

Siven thought for a minute, "Can you make some pasta?" She asked with a smile.

"Easy." Jace shrugged as he rolled up his sleeves and took out a pot. "What sorta sauce or additions do ya want?"

"Hmm... Broccoli and white sauce." Siven said with a smile as her tail flicked happily.

"No problem. Betty has me make her some broccoli alfredo once a week." Jace grinned wolfishly as he got out the ingredients. "It used to be my mom's specialty."

"Used to, is she gone now?" Siven asked curiously as she held David's hand happily.

"...Yeah." Jace stirred the sauce and checked the noodles. "But that was a long time ago."

"I'm sorry." Siven said going over and hugging Jace.

"Don't worry about it." Jace patted Siven's head and pried her off of him before serving the pasta. "Having friends and family is a rare blessing, nowadays." He put the plate down on the island. "Eat up."

"It might be hard, but try to eat slow." David added smiling.

"Thank you mister. Don't worry brother I won't eat fast" Siven said with a smile before beginning to eat the pasta. "This is really good."

"Glad ya think so." Jace cleaned up and leaned against the counter.

"So what's your name?" Siven asked with a mouth full of pasta.

"Jace. I'm your brother's supervisor while he's in training."

"Nice to meet you Jace." Siven said with a smile as she finished her pasta.

"Ya know Jace, you could always cooks something really nice for... Oh wait you already tried that." David said then turned to Siven. "Wait... Siven your a girl you can give Jace advice!"

"Advice on what?" Siven asked curiously as she took David's hand again.

"Hehe Jace should I say or should you?" David asked with a smirk as he hold her tiny hand.

Jace scowled. "I don't need help, and if I did, she doesn't even know her. Her opinion is null."

"Are you in love with someone?" Siven asked curiously looking Jace over.

"...Being in love with someone makes it sound like the feeling's mutual." Jace muttered to himself, not expecting anyone to hear.

"Maybe it is....but with her dumb 'number one rule' it makes things really hard." David said. ".....Wait...isn't there a birthday party we are supposed to be at?"

"The pups!" Jace facepalmed. He turned to Siven. "Do ya want to come along? We'll getcha a room set up afterwards."

"YES! I love birthday parties!" Siven said excitedly with a smile on here face.

"Haha okay lets go then!" David said getting up and heading to the door.

Siven followed David happily while still holding his hand.
