Ikigame woke to the love of his life before him. He smiled and kissed her. "Good morning."

Mercury opened her eyes slowly.She smiled adn yawned."Good morning my darling.."

Ikigame sat up and looked out of the tent. "How did you sleep dear?"

"Perfecty.And yourself?"

Ikigame looked back at her, nodding. "It was peaceful."

Mercury got out of her sleeping bag and streched.She was in her skull sleeping kimono.

Tsome was sleeping soundlessly in the tree.

Ikigame kissed her once more and walked out of the tent. "Hey, Zabuza, Haku..Wakeup."

Mercury dragged Haku out of his tent,then Zabuza."You two sleeping idiots.."She then jumped into the tree,and knocked Tsome out of it.

Tsome landed nimbly on her feet. "Myu?" she uttered, rubbing her eyes sleepily.

"You act like a lazy cat."Merc rolled hwer eyes.

"Well I did sleep in a tree..." Tsome yawned.

"Hey...Where is Lee?"Merc looked around.

"Not sure..." Tsome looked around.

"Lee-chan!"Merc called out.

"Being social is heart breaking." Ikigame muttered under his breath as he sat on Zabuza's stomach.

"Oof."Zabuza mumbled."Ikigame?'

Haku sat up and yawned.

Mercury turned around and smiled.

"Yes lord?" Ikigame blurted out on accident.

Tsome walked over to Mercury and patted her head.

Mercury giggled and glompde Tsome.

Zabuza blunk."Lord?"

Ikigame grew shifty-eyed. "Did I say that outloud?"

Merc blinked at Ikigame.

Zabzua blunk again."Yes but..Can you get off my stomach?"

Ikigame whimpered for a moment then scooted onto the ground. "You were such a good cushion...I must make my cushions will now." He formed somw sand on the ground and began to write a fake will into it with his finger.

"But..I have your coushins!"Merc tacklehuged Ikigame.

Zabuza chuckled.

Haku smiled warmly.

Tsome walked away.

Ikigame smiled and moved his hands to her sides. "Yes, all three of them." He let his hands slide down to her mid back.

Mercury giggled adn nuzzled Ikigame.

Zabuza fel abck laughing.

Haku tried to hold back his laughter

Ikigame smiled, grabbed some sand and threw it at Zabuza. "Shut it..."

"Hey!"Zabuza chuckled.

Mercury giggled.

Ikigame kissed her bottom lip gently and flicked his ears a few times.

"Aww...How sweet.."Zabuza and Haku said together.

Mercury closed her eyes adn licked Ikigame's nose.

Ikigame was kinda taken aback by Zabuza's words just now. "Zabuza...Since when did you turn soft?" He held Mercury close still.

"Before I died when I saw Haku die..And when i adopted Merc."

"Hm...That explains it. But you are still the Devil of the mist village right?" Ikigame asked with another whiper.

"Of course."Zabuza smiled.

Ikigame perked up quickly, hugging Mercury once more. "Yay!"

"Oof!"Merc said with a giggle."Zabuza sensei will always be our little demon."

Zabuza and Haku chuckled,smiling."A wolf and a cat.never thought I'd see the day..."Haku smiled.

Ikigame's ears twitched a few times hearing the little comment. "Actually, I hated her guts a while back...."

"That was after you tried to rape adn kill me."Merc smiled,biting Ikigame's ears gently.

Zabuza blinked."Bad kittycat."

Ikigame let out a nervous laugh and patted Mercury's head. "Well, I did used to seduce women with my eyes, but I promised Mercury I would stop that."

"Your eyes are just so irrististable!"Merc mewed.

Zabuza and Haku fell abck laughing.

"So, Zabuza...When are you gonna get a gf?"

Zabzua froze up.

Haku blinked."Zabzua doesnt want a relationship.He thinks they only caxuse problems."

"Thats not true....Look at me and Merc..." Ikigame said slowly.

Zabuza shrugged."I can't find a girl i like."

"Maybe you don't want a girl, but rather a guy..." Ikigame shivered at his own words, remembering he took advantage of a guy once before. All because of sake...

Zabzua blinked a few time.He was deep in thought."IKIGAME IS FLIRTING WITH ME!"He yelled randomly

Haku and him both started laughing.

Mercury jumped up.She reached into her backpack and pulled out...SAKE!!!!!!!

Ikigame jumped back from the man's words. "Fuck no I'm not...I ha..." His attention was caught by the smell of the sake. He quickly ran over to one of the trees and threw up, back arched and tail drooped across the ground.

Mercury looked at Ikigame.She then started chugging down the sake.

Ikigame sat down before the stomach acid and food he just spewed, rather to drink that then the sake ever again.

"Ikigame-kun?"Mercury called out.

Ikigame grunted a few times as he ran his finger through the acid and food.

Mercury walekd over to Ikigame."You okay?"

"Sake makes me sick." He said in a low toone.

"I'm sorry."

Ikigame sighed and stood up, pulling himself up into the tree. "Not the sake, but the after result of sake."

Mercury's cheeks were a hazy red."What aftrer result?"

"Kinda something I don't want to relive."

Merc jumped next to Ikigame adn hugged him."Rin?"

"And I relived it." Ikigame said groaning slightly

"I'm sorry...."Merc whispered.

Ikigame patted her head and sighed. "Not your fault..My fault for sleeping with him."

"You didn't know."Merc smiled.

Ikigame fell back out of the tree and groaned.

Merc meeped."Iki-kun!"

"I hate life right now."

"Why?"Merc looked slightly heartbroken.

"Because of...Him...' He hissed out.

"He didnt do it."

Ikigame pushed himself up and walked to the tent. "You wouldn't understand."

Mercury looked at Ikigame.She felt asthough her heart heart had been torn apart.

Ikigame entered the tent and laid back down, covering up with the sleeping blankets provided. He sighed lightly and shut his eyes.

Zabuza entered the tent aswell."Hey you."

Ikigame flattened his ears and tried his best to enter his own little world, finding it nearly impossible due to the fact his god was in the tent.

Zabuza ruffled Ikigame's hair."Come on now."

"What?"

"Your love is out there crying."

"I'm sorry." He said in a low tone.

"Dont apologize to me.Shes the one carrying your child."

Ikigame shivered under the two blankets around him.

"Come on."Zabuza picked Ikigame up.

Ikigame yelped and clung to Zabuza's arm, fearing being off of the ground.

"Meep!"Zabuza yelped

Ikigame kicked his legs and attempted to reach his feet to the ground. "Let me GOOOOO!!!!" He clawed at the man's bandaged arm and meeped a few times.

"Whats the matter?"Zabuza asked calmly.

"You're touching me...scary...And I'm off the ground...scarier..." Ikigame whimpered a few times as he kicked his back legs a few mores times.

Zabuza chuckled and gently put Ikigame on the ground.

"I'm sorry, I just don't like guys touching me after that little insident. Worst off, I hate being off the ground unless I'm in a tree or something." Ikigame admitted.

"Sorry."Zabuza smiled.

Haku appeared out of nowhere."Merc's gone!"

Ikigame quickly looked at the boy. "Where did she go?"

"The asnd village.."Haku stared at the ground.

Zabuza sighed."Damnit.."

Ikigame groaned and and let his body morph into the moisture around the bodies of his step-father and Haku. "I'll be back."

Zabuza meeped and Haku blinked."Wha..?"

Ikigame appeared behind Zabuza, crossing his arms and looking down at the two. "I need your help."

"For what??"Zabuza blinked.

"To save your daughter...She was taken by that ninja that nearly killed me." Ikiagme sighed and looked down at the groud before his feet. "I'm sorry I couldn't protect her."

Zabuza and Haku both started making handsigns.

Ikigame quickly went into his tent, grabbing his double sided sword, his broad sword and his trench coat/cloak. He pulled the clothing on and exited the tent. "Come on."

Zabuza and Haku stop making handsigns and put on some coats.

Damn, can't turn my weapons to mist..That sucks.. "Guess we're running, men..." Ikigame said distastfully, not wanting to go slower by running.

Zabuza nad Haku said nothing.They were jumping from tree to tree.

Ikigame followed after, heading towards the village of the sand
