CHAPTER FOUR
PART TWO
Every one stopped what they were doing and looked in the direction of the shot. All they could see at first was smoke that was slowly clearly. And through the cloud of smoke they could see a dark red coat swaying in the wind. When the smoke finally cleared the man's face was white with shock and anger. He was slightly shaking holding up his silver gun. He flicked open the shaft and hastily filled it with six more bullets. He aimed and shot six more bullets though it only sounded like one shot. And all of this had no effect. The bullets simply slowed down from the heat and fell from where they hung up above. The few bullets that did make it through the heat had hit the meteor to no effect. Finally giving in to not being able to force the meteor back he reloaded his gun and aimed it at Sephiroth with a shaking hand. He held it steady there for what seemed like forever. He looked as though he was struggling to pull the trigger. He then slowly lowered the gun to his side, slipped it into his red coat and jumped from where he stood onto the floor where all the fighters stood watching in interest. His red trench coat flew around him when he hit the floor, and slowly standing he glared at Sephiroth with utter hatred. He ran and then jumped with such speed that before they all knew it he was standing in front of Sephiroth with the gun to his head. He was saying something to him but they couldn't hear because of the roar of the meteor slowly descending down to them to cause the end of the five fighters. Everyone was watching intently, not quit sure what was going on. But what they did see surprised everyone. Sephiroth shoved his hand forward as though to push the man away from him. But it seemed as though he had been thrown. For he flew across the arena floor. And while doing so he fired his gun. Each giving off thunderous blasts.
The five girls were all staring in horror, watching this as if it was in slow motion. When the man had showed up the all had let out a gasp. They recognized the face, the coat, the gun, everything. The all shocked to see him here. And all were wondering why he was here.
The others on the other hand had no clue who this man was. The were surprised by the fact that he could think that he could take on the meteor, let alone Sephiroth. None of them were surprised to see him fall so quickly.
Flying in the air he shot the first bullet, which took Sephiroth by surprise and caught him in the arm. But he did not stumble. He simply stood there watching the man fall. Then he shot the second bullet, which Sephiroth easily dodged now that he was on his guard. And the third, fourth, fifth and sixth shots went just the same, easily dodged. Right after the sixth shot was fired the blond hair man slammed into the wall that fenced the arena. His gun fell loose from his fingers and he fell to his knees, then falling unconscious to the ground.
Sephiroth let out a howl of laughter, “It seems to me that we need to speed up this show. We wouldn't want any more interruptions, now would we Cloud?”
Sephiroth let out a flow of energy. The stadium was completely filled with his aura. And with this energy he forced the meteor to come to a death pounding crash onto the arena floor.
Screams and shouts came from the stands. The fighters all stood watching in horror at the mass destruction that was caused. No one could understand how this man could have such power. No one, except of course, those who have already witnessed this power. And those few where more than willing to jump in the ring at that very moment. The only problem was, they all knew that none of them could take on Sephiroth.
A huge cloud of dust and smoke covered the arena, nothing could be seen of what was happening. Once the meteor had made impact, huge pieces of the arena had flown every where, causing people to scatter in confusion. The smoke was glowing red in the center, as though the meteor was pounding down on the fighters just for the hell of it.
Everyone was staring at the arena waiting for the smoke to clear. Already knowing of what happened to the men, but not wanting to witness their mangled bodies or not even seeing their bodies there at all. When the smoke finally cleared there was an intake of breath when they all saw the sight.
The stage had been completely destroyed. The only part standing was the outer ring that was starting to cave in. In the center expanding outward was a giant crater that covered almost the entire ring. Hot ashes lay scattered on the ground. Those were thought to be the only remains of the five fighters. Though, something was not right; Sephiroth was no where to be seen. Where he had once stood was no longer there, for it had been destroyed.
The crowd had been silent the intire time, and as though someone had turned the sound back on, they all started cheering. But unlike them, the gangs of fighters were still ever watchful. They were given a nod from both Goku and Vegeta saying that they could still sense him. All were alert and ready. Not knowing where he just might decide to pay a visit.
“Look! Up there! I see him!” the voice was of whom they didn't recognize, but none bothered to see who spoke. All eyes had shot up to the sky. And all could see him. At first it was just a spec in the light, but as he drew closer they could sense his power. And those unable to do so, saw his silver white hair streaming after him and his long trench coat flow behind him in the wind. As he gotten closer the crowd was amazed to see him unharmed. And as though he had only dropped two feet and not 50 stories in the air, he landed lightly on his feet. The gong rang and on the score board the only winner shown was Sephiroth. The stadium rang with shouts, from either joy or anger, no one could really tell. The score board flashed again, “The tournament will continue tomorrow after repairs.” And with a groan from the stands every one piled out.
Opening his eyes took some time, for when he did they burned from the dust. He knew he lost a lot of blood. Didn't expect him to be that strong. Yes he had heard the rumors of his strength but he didn't listen. When he heard of the things that he had done, he decided that there was no choice but to face him. Now, with the position that he was in, he regrets it. Knowing that he didn't even make a scratch on him.
The dust was finally starting to clear. A huge crater took the place of the arena. He looked on in awe at the damage that the meteor had done. His fingers dug into the dirt. His eyes were darting here and there, taking in his surroundings. Everyone looked tense, as though waiting for something. There was a yell from above, and the next thing he knew, Sephiroth was staring at him. Showing no emotion. For some reason everyone in the stands started piling out, but he didn't care. He was only focused on Sephiroth. The man who murdered so many people, only for his selfish reasons. Reasons of which this man clearly didn't understand. It seems like an hour that they stared at each other. He took a chance to dart his eyes on the ground searching for his gun. It was some ten feet away. He darted his eyes back at Sephiroth, only to see that he was no longer there. He got as quickly to his feet as he could. He wouldn't let him kill him while he was down. He staggered for his gun, almost falling over again. He heard shouts coming from behind, and he swung his gun in that direction, ready at any time to fire. He did not see Sephiroth though. He only saw a man with spiky blond hair, being held back by a group of people, he could not tell what he was saying, for the sound was leaving him. And as he was passing out, he saw a group of girl's look over and starts running to him. The looked scared and were calling out his name…How can these girls know me…
