Taking out your wand you whisper "lumos" and you pick out the shape of a hunched over animal quivering in pain. It's a thestral. You notice that its wing is bent. You want to help so you reach a hand forward seeing if it is friendly. When it doesn't bite you you rest a hand on its back. It doesn't protest. You remember the things you learned in Care of Magical Creatures class and you mend the thestral as best you can. You stand back to admire your work and it trills happily at you. Feeling yourself inflate with pride at your handywork you start heading back to the castle.


The teachers learn of your good deed and award you 20 house points!
