Mercury growled as she walked through the familier streets.

Ikigame drifted to the village, via air, and appeared behind Mercury. "Merc..."

Mercury quickly turned around."Ikigame!"She gasped.

Ikigame looked around at the houses of the sand village. "Yes..."

"You found me.."Mercury sighed andhugegd him.

Ikigame hugged her back and sighed. "Why'd you leave love?...Wait...where is that Gaara fellow?"

"Im sorry..I was scared...Gaara is with Amber."

"Why were you scared?" Ikigame asked pulling back and staring down at her.

"I was scared that you might be mad at me.."

"If anything, I'm mad at myself still." Ikigame muttered in a low tone. He noticed a few glances from the citizens of the sand village, him being a famous merdurer and assassin of the snad ninjas and all. "I just wish you were happy dear.."

Merc smiled and hugged him.She glared at the others.

Ikigame smiled and kissed the top of her head. "Come on, I don't like it much here. It makes me wantto go find that one white-haired ninja."

"Oh come on!I haven't been here in forever!Lets just stay a little while?"

Ikigame nodded slowly and walked behind her. "You lead the way." He hugged her lightly from behind and peered out from over her head.


Merc smiled and started walking twords a giant old looking house.

"Where are we headed?" He asked the 13 yr old young lady, placing his hands on her stomach now.

"My house."She answered

"Why?" He asked tilting his head and flicking his ears. "Is there something there that you want?"

"Unfotunatly..Yes."

"What's there?" He asked looking forward at the house.

"something..."

"Fair enough." Ikigame responded with a smile.

Mercury giggled.

Ikigame's smile slowly faded as they neared the house, shadow rushing over their forms. "I'll wait out here."

Merc nodded as she causiously entered the house.

Ikigame sighed and sat down, back against the building as he stared out at the village. Wonder where that guy is anyways.. He flicked his ears and patted the ground with his hands. I still have to pay him back for the arm, bac, broken ribs, scarred eye and leg...I didn't cause any blood spill from him, but he cause me to nearly go paralized... the cat sighed and hunched over and folded his ears against his skull. "Stupid sand ninja..." He saw a few looks from small children and adults passing by. He was wondering why no ninjas were forming a circle with pitch forks, ropes and fires around him.

Mercury walked around the dark house."Where is it?"She was silenced by someone grabbing her,tieing her up and gagging her.

Ikigame grew tired of the waiting, deciding to go into the old house. "Mercury!" He called through thre door, eyes scanning the dark building's room. "Are you in there love?"

Mercury opened her eyes.She was in a room that she idnt know of.

A man with white hair came out of the shadows."So..you returned to sand village,eh,Desert thorn..?"

Ikigame meeped and stepped back a couple steps. "What are you doing here?" He asked sheepishly, ears folding back once more. "Where's Mercury?"

"The Desert Rose is hidden.But whats a rose..with out her thorn?"He grinned.

"What do you want?" Ikigame hissed to him. "Haven't you done enough damage to me? Give me back Mercury." He demanded.

"Come on now,Ikigame...Do you really think that I'll just hand over that presious little flower?"

"I don't want to fight anymore. Just give her back to me." Ikigame demanded, now stepping forward.

The man wagged his finger."Nope.She's a sand villager..Since when does sand mix with mist?

"I don't know, ask my child in 9 months." He hissed over to him. Great, I don't even have my clothes and weapons....Guess I'll have to make due with what's here. He thought letting his eyes gae over at a pouch with kunai in it.

"I see.."The man snickered.He pulled out a giant blade.

Ikigame meeped and grabbed the nearby pouch. "Great..Now you wanna fight...Sure hit a cat when he's donw and out."

The man smirked."You can have your wife back if you can find the right key.."

"...She's not my wife yet...She's my girlfriend..Get it right you old man!" Ikigame hissed removing two of the kunai from the pouch and throwing the rest down.

The man rolled his eyes."What ever."

Ikigame groaned and walked closer to the man. "Where is the key?"

"Why should I tell you.."

"Fine, I'll search for it myself..."

The man chucled."He wont ever figure it out.."

Ikigame groaned as he began to tear the room apart, searching for the keys.

"Cats are so gulable..."

Ikigame twitched and walked out of the room. "Key...?"

The man was lying down,bored.

"Asshole! Wake up and tell me where the key is!" Ikigame scoffed as he kicked him in the side. "I'll break your ribs like you did mine if you don't."

"It should be obvious."The man yawned.

Ikigame tilted his head and glared at the man. "You remember who you're talking to don't you?" He asked slowly. "If I am stupid enough to try to kill you then it isn't obvious."

"Kill me and you'll never get the key.If thats a hint."The man yawned.

"Is it in the rose?" He asked tilting his head once more.

"Nope."

"Please, I'm begging you now. Tell me where it is please."

"Oohh..Now your begging the guy who ruined your life.."

"You didn't ruin it, on the contrary. If you wouldn't have almost killed me, I wouldn't have met Mercury. I wouldn't expecting a daughter or son, I would've still been a whore and a prick, and I would've still been hard-hearted. You are far from the truth old man, you helped my life, not ruined it." Ikigame said hanging the kunai from his two index fingers down by his waist.

The man chuckled then broke into a laughed."HAHAHAA!Come on man,do you really think you'll stay with her?Somewhere along the line..You'll find another girl.And fall for her.Leaving Mercury all alone with a child and the father nowhere to be found."

"Hm...A few promisses I made to her that I normally wouldn't make to anyone on any standards. 1.)Promised to stop whoring around and if I did I let her kill me, 2.) I promised to stop picking fights and merduring her village's ninja, and 3.)I promised to care for the child all by myself if I have to."

"I don't believe you for one second.Come on man.Your the famous kill of the sand!

"And?" Ikigame said with a shrug. "Never said I could read mind you bastard."

"Aww now dont be a grumpy kitty."

Ikigame sighed and gripped the man up by his throat, using his left hand with the white-haired man technically destroyed. "Tell me."

"Tell you what?"He grinned,playing innocent.

"I despise you, very much so. Tell me where she is." He said now digging his claws into the man's neck.

"Kill me and you'll never find out.."

Ikigame growled and set the man down gently, still holding his throat. "Tell me."

Rin entered the village through the back entrance, not caring if anyone stared at him or not. Gaze went about to finding a certain white-haired ninja that he heard had been giving trouble to the idiots of his Master's layer. That's what he heard anyways, and he got the excuse to find Mercury and Ikigame.

Ikari kept close behind Rin."Hey,where you goin?"

Rin glanced down at her, "Don't get in the way of my job.. understand?" he asked coldly, demeanor changing once again.

Ikari growled.She picked Rin up by the collar of his shirt."You know what Mr.I'm to good to accept a friend,i don't give a damn.I'm following you.i'll get in the damn way if I want!"

Grabbing her wrists with his own, he tugged her free of his shirt and threw her down. "Don't grab me like I'm some child." He hissed, continuing on passed her, "If you decide to get in the way then I'll kill you." And what he said wasn't a lie.

As Ikari hit the ground,her leg snaped off,disolving into a mond of sand."Damnit.."The sand regenerateed and she chased after Rin.

He soon came upon the house of Mercury without realizing it. He hadn't been here in a long time, and really didn't remember his way around the stupid place.

Ikari walked over to the house."Your not allowed in there.."Ikari warned.

"If my target's in there, then I will go in there.." Rin smirked, going up to the window and looking in and he saw the man and Ikigame holding him by the throat. "Hmph.." Taking a couple steps back, he went and kicked it, slipping in with ease. "You're not permitted to kill him Iki-kun..."

Ikigame heard the shattering window and sighed. "Stop tearing up my mates house Carmen. The door was unlocked you know. who are you to tell me what I can and can't do anyways?"

Ikari jumped through the window.She put Rin into a headlock."I said your not allowed in here!"

Rin pushed against her, not caring if she broke apart. He knew they were clones, it was that simple. "The Mute Ninja's come to take that one's life..." he replied to Ikigame.

Ikigame released the White-haired ninja's neck and turned around. "Rin..? N-No, you are not gonna kill him." He stated.

Ikari stayed stable."You cant be in here!'"

Ikigame turned back to the White-haired ninja and sighed. "Please, tell me. I don't wanna break my promise to Mercury."

"But promises are fun to break!."The man laughed.

Hand slipped to the pouch on his right leg, pulling out a kunai, gaze narrowing slightly. "You've been causing trouble to my master... and taking a pregnant girl hostage? That's low...even for you..."

"Rin, enough! And no, they aren't fun to break." Ikigame scoffed.

Ikari growled."Stay still Rin!"

The man smiled he started disolving into sand.

In a blank room,Mercury looked around."Huh?"

A girl appeared."Hi there..Desert Rose."

Mercury growled."Who are you!"

Ikigame growled and swated at the dessolving man. "TELL ME WHERE THE FUCK SHE IS YOU STUPID SON-OF-A-BITCH! I'LL KILL YOU IF YOU DON'T!" Obviously he had been losing his cool, not usually the one to cuss and scream like that.

Rin cursed himself and left through the window again, out onto the street. "Damnit..." he muttered,

Ikari looked out the window,then tried to stop Ikigame."Stop!"

Ikigame glared back at the girl, noticing she was one of Mercury's clones. "You know where she is..I know you know, I know you know because she knows you can communicate through mind because she knows I am in the same room as you, looking for her." He snarled.

"Uhh.."Ikari started backing against the wall."Your kinda scaring me.."

Not having any luck in finding a sign of that damned man, Rin went back into the house, right through the window again. He didn't like using doors for some odd reason. He was lazy... He got in between Ikari and Ikigame. "Don't talk to her like that asshole..." he hissed, glaring at him hatefully.

"Don't hate me because I don't love you dear." He ran a finger across Rin's jawline and smirked. "Now, Ikari...I know you can speak with her still. Ask her where she is for me, please?"

Ikari blinked."Your kinda obbsessed with her.."She slapped Ikigame's hand away from Rin's face."No touch..."She stood still.

Rin glared at him. "You wish I still was... whore.." he added with a slight smirk. "Now, what do you know of that old man anyways? He is my next target..."

Ikigame turned his direction from the two 'children'. "Like I'd tell you, you won't even help me find Mercury you little brats." He sighed and looked down at the ground. "I know more then you think though."

Ikari snapped back into reality."He's in an abandoned werehouse...But Neither of us know where it is..Theres a couple in this village."

Rin smiled. "Thanks Ikari... Mercury is probably there with that old spazz..." he turned towards Ikigame, "Oh stop being so emo god... let's just go and rescue that girl of yours and I can kill that man..."

Ikigame glared back at the boy. "No, I am gonna kill him. I owe him for nearly killing me you jerk." He disappeared into the air once more and began to float with the moisture in the air, leaving nothing but the kunai behind. He had to go back and grab his weapons after all, he had no use for such puny things like those.

"You're the jerk..." Rin called after him, turning to Ikari. "Come on. I s'pose you have to stay with me since you were told to babysit bad old Rin.." he laughed, going through the window. "I'm going to kill him before Iki-kun can even get near him..."

Ikari tackled him out the window and onto the ground, protecting him by streching her arms into a sand sheild."No..You can't kill him...Theres something Ikigame doesn't even know about that man.."

He landed face first into the sand, spitting out sand as he asked, "What the hell is wrong with you and tackling me?!" Rin crossed his arms, waiting for an answer. He also didn't like the fact that people stared. "And why can't I kill him? It's not like he's Mercury's dad or something.."

Ikari gave a nervouse laugh."Well um..Thast where your wrong.."

Rin didn't say anything.

"You can see the resenblence in their eyes..."

"Is it her uncle..? Brother....?" he asked again, now out of curiousity.

"Zabuza is her step father...The white haired man is..Her real father.."

Zabuza jumped down."Hm..Never thought I'd be here again.

Haku stood close by Zabuza."Feels weird being here..."

"As in how Haku?" Ikigame asked starin at him closely.

"I don't know..."Haku looked around.

"I just want to find Mercury."

"Well,what we heard from Nera,shes in one of the abandoned warehouses.."

"Where's that??"

"At the edges of the village."

"Okay, come on then." Ikigame said walking.

"Theres more than one of them."

"How many are there?"

"Last time I checked...8."

"Then, we better get going." Ikiagme said.

Zabuza and Haku nodded,walking in seperate directions.

"Wait. Maybe you should make a few clones Haku, you too Zabuza, that way if we do run into the white-haired ninja we have somme help from each other."

"Hm.True."Zabuza said and made a handsigh."Water clone jutsu!"2 more Zabuza's appeared.

"Water clone jutsu!"2 more Haku's appeared.

Ikigame made a few hand signs as well. "Shadow clone jutsu!" A form of Ikigame appeared next to him. He made a few more hand signs, "Sand clone jutsu!" A sand clone appeared ontop of the other's shoulders, hunched over, head quirked and eyes blackened..Pretty demented looking in the face, the sand clone always seemed to come out meanedr then his other clones. "There is 8 werehouses, huh? Water clone jutsu!" He said after making a couple more hand signs. But only this time 5 clones appeared next to Zabuza's and Haku's. We'll split off into groups, that way if any happens to find the white-haired being and Mercury, nobody will be alone." He instructed.

"Ya but..Whats up with the sand clone?"Haku asked.

"Oh, him?" Ikigame looked back at the sand clone, which was now swating at him. "I could never get them right after the white-haired old man attacked me and marked my arm and back."

Haku blinked."Hm.."

Ikigame gave a slight shrug and sighed.

Zabuza and the clones started walking one way.
Haku and the clones walkde another way.

A few of Ikiagme's clones walked with Zabuza and Haku, the water clones that is. Shadow, Sand, and two waters stayed with him.

Haku got to the first warehouse."Hm.."He walked in.

Ikigame got to the second werehouse, searching around for the white-haired man. "Hello."

Zabuza got to the third ware house."Anyone here?"He called.

A sHadow smothered over him,dragging him to the darkness.

One of the clones growled and began to attack the shadow as best he could to save Zabuza.

More shadows appeared adn attacked the clones.

Haku heard Zabuza scream."Sensei?!"He to was mauled by a shadow.

Ikigame felt his clones being attacked and meeped. "What the hell?!"

A voice came from the shadows."Heheheh....You found us.."

Ikigame's sand clone flipped off of the shadow clone's shoulders and attacked the white-haired man.

The white haired man flicked the sand clone on the head and shattered it to a thousand pieces."Hehe.."

Ikigame stared at the man and growled. "Give her back."

"Aww..But me and Merc havent had any father daughter time.."The man grinned wildly.

A ray of light appeared from the darkness,revieling a gagged,knocked out, and tied up Mercury.

Ikgame's eyes widened hearing the words. "W-Why? Why would you hurt your own daughter, that is, if you proclaim yourself to be him."

"Aww..Who said I hurt her?""The man smiled.

Ikigame took a step towards the man, grabbing his head and sighing. "You gagged her man..Gagged her."

"And?Thats so she would yell out for help from you."

Merc woke up.She looked around weakly.

Ikigame looked at the woken Mercury and smiled. "Mercury!"

Mercury smiled and passedout again.

"You see,little Merc's chakra is drained out.She tries way to hard adn never gives up."The man sighed."I swear.."

"So, why did you steal her?" He asked slowly.

"The poor thing doesn't even remember her birthda anymore.."

"That didn't answer my question."

"To try and help her remember."

"I could've done that. I could've helped her remember..Hey, what did you write on my arm and back anyways, that last time I fough you."

"Oh nothing.Just something that would haunt you the rest of your life."

Ikigame felt his temple begin to throb. "Thanks for that.."

"And it all has to do with Merc being pregnate."

"Hm..Really?" Ikigame asked looking back over at her, noticing the three clones now untying her, taking the gag out of her mouth.

Mercury looked up and smiled at Ikigame.

The three clones smiled down at her, waving and disappearing. Water sunk to the ground, shadow disappeared into thin air. Ikigame let go of the man and backed up, waving.

Mercury looked at the white haired man."CAn I go home with Iki-kun now,daddy?"

The man nodded.

"You know, Rin is here...Ready to kill you old man." Ikigame warned.

"I know.."The man said.

"Normally, I wouldn't let my kill go for another to snag, but knowing it would be a disgrace to kill my own child's grandfather...I'm just gonna leave."

"How sweet.Your guna spare an old man like me."

Mercury stood up and hugged her father.

"No...I never said you were sparred." Ikigame said placing his hands into his pockets and turning.

Merc waved.

The man dissappeared.

Ikigame sighed ad walked through the door.

Merc followed."ikigame-kun?"

"Yes dear?" He asled looking back at her.

She tackled him."THANKYOU!!"

Ikigame laughed and hugged her. "You're welcome lovie."

The demon pulled Ikigame to her."Shutup and kiss me."

Ikigame gave a small smile, leaning up and kissing her lips tenderly.

Merc murred and wrapped her arms around Ikigame's shoulders."I'm glad you didn't kill father.."

Ikigame sighed slightly. "I just want to know why he would take you...I could've taken care of you."

"He's not that great of a father...And I havent seen him in years...He missed me."

"I just want to get out of here..." Ikigame muttered lowly.

"but the sand village is so cool!"

Ikigame's eyebrow twitched a bit. "Are you not aware of how unsafe it is here for me? If I'm caught alone by any of these ninja they will murder me and find and murder you." He testified, sitting up now.

"Well them...Lets play a dressup game..."Merc grinned.

Ikigame sighed.

"Come on.It will be fun!

"Fine..." Ikigame said in a dead tone, thinking a string of curses.

Merc stared at the ground sadly.

Ikigame noticed this and sighed, wrapping his arms about her small frame. "I'm sorry."

"Why are you acting so different?"The young girl whispered.

"I just don't like it here, it makes me feel like a hipocrit..." Ikigame said, lyingg a small kiss on her shoulder.

"Y ou've been acting different ever since you got me pregnant.."

"I..have..?" Ikigame twitched his ear at this statement, not really noticing any change.

"You seeme to be more...depresed..."Merc said with a sigh.

"I'm..." Ikigame shut his eyes and looked down sadly. "I'm sorry."

"Dont be...I love you anyway.."Merc smiled and hugged him.

"I'm sorry I seem as if I changed."

"Dont be sorry."

"How can you be so calm?"

"I dont know..."

Ikigame stood himself up, letting Mercury slip from his lap.

Merc jumped up and smiled.
"I'm not going to dress up...I'm going to go find father and Haku, then leave." Ikigame stated as he began to walk again.

Mercury grabbed Ikigame's arm and stood her ground.

Ikigame looked back at her breifly, then sighed. "I want to go home..I don't like it here."

Mercury whimpered."But..Ikigame...This is my home..I'm sure I can get people to accept you..."

Ikigame's eye and ear twitch suddenly, then he whipped around and growled. "I don't want to be accepted by anybody just because i impregnated someboy from their village!" He sighed and stepped back quickly.

Mercury fell back on her butt and looked up at Ikigame.She looked like a scared puppy.Tears started falling from her eyes as she stood up and started running.

Ikigame sighed and looked to the ground for a moment. He decided he wasn't going to almost lose her this time, so ran after her calling out, "MERCURY, COME BACK!"

Merc kept running and ran into a warehouse.She saw her father."Daddy!"Sheran into his arms.

"Whats wrong pumpkin?"Her father asked.

"I dont wana talk about it.."Merc mumbled.

"Thats okay pumpkin..."He said.

Merc cried in her fathers arms.

Ikigame slowed to a walk as he neared the door. "Mercury...I'm sorry."

"You should go talk to him..."Her father whispered.

Merc nodded and walked twords the door.

 
Ikigame quickly pulled her close and huged her, resting his head against her shoulder. "I'm sorry Mercury..." He said in a meer whisper

Mercury broke down crying and held him.

Ikigame kissed her cheek lilghtly, holding her closer to his form.

Mercury cried,her small form shivering violently.

Ikigame caressed her cheek slowly, pulling back and looking down at her. "I 'm sorry I snapped at you, I didn't mean to."

"But you did anyway..."She whispered.

"I'm sorry."

"Its okay.."She whispered.

Ikigame laid his head on her shoulder again, sighing sadly.

Zabuza and Haku fell from the shadows.

"Hm.So thats where I put them."Merc's father said.

Mercury meeped."Oh dear."

Ikigame, startled by the thud, looked into the warehouse. He noticed the two males' bodies and immediately began to growl. "Son of a bitch!" He brushed past Mercury and ran into the buiding.

Merc ran after him."Iki-kun!"

Ikigame looked back at her, growling still. "Your father took Lord Zabuza and Haku!"

"He was probably taking care of the and-hic."Merc paused and blinked."Lord?"

The white haired man blinked.

Ikigame realized what he said, stopped and turned around quickly. What did I just do...? he asked himself in embarassement.

Mercury and her father stood there,confused.

Ikigame ran his hand across his face and sighed.

Merc shrugged adn walked over to Zabuza and Haku.

Ikigame walked out of the building and headed towards the edge of town

Mercury put Zabuza and Haku on her back and waved to her father.She jumped from roof top to roof top."Iki-kun!"

Ikigame sat against one of the houses at the edge of the village, knees to chest and face to ground.

"Iki-kun?"Merc pouted.She landed on a roof top and satdown."Its okay sensei.I'll protected you guys,"

Ikigame was shocked from a punch in his side, flying over a few feet and shutting his eyes. "The hell?!" He sat himself up slowly and looked to see a random sand village ninja standindg there, a kunai sticking out of his clenched fingers and blood dripping from it. He blinked a few times and felt down at his side, blood drenched.

Mercury's wolf ears appeared adn they shot straight up.She sniffed the air."Blood.....Ikigame's blood....."She picked Zabuza and Haku up again and ran and top speed.

Ikigame slowly stood up and looked at the ninja before him. "N...ani..?" He stuttered out, shaking a bit from the stab that went through his ribs.

Merc saw Ikigame."Iki-kun!"She jumped down infront of him."Ikigame!

Ikigame made a few hand signs, hitting the ground with his palm. "SAND BURIAL!"

Merc did a handsign."Sand rose!"A giant rose of sand covered the ninja.Merc turned back to Ikigame."Calm down!"

"I told you I didn't want to saty here!" Ikigame kept his palm firly against the ground. "Thank you Mercury, you furthered my jutsu!" He watched the female ninja sink into the snad rose made by Mercury, the arms flailing and trying to swim to the top. "No use chick, you go night night now!" Shortly after, all movement stopped.

"Ikigame...That was a sleeper jutsu..The ninja is just asleep...."Merc walked over to the rose adn pulled out the sleeping body of the girl.

Ikigame growled and ran to the girl, removing a kunai from his leg pouch and stabbing it through her heart. "She attemted to kill me, she dies. Thats how it is from now on, anybody tries to kill me or my family, they die."

Mercury had moved her hand so the kunai wouldn't hit the girl.She stared at her stabbed hand."Shes just a kid,Ikigame.look at her!Shes probably just finished at the academy."

Ikigame pulled the kunai roughly from her hand. "I don't care. I'm a merdurer, and psycho sand ninja killer. That doesn't make me stop at a child."

Merc made a handsigh with her bloodied hand and sand covered the girl."Your a murderer.A psycho ninja killer.That doesnt stop me from loving you."

Ikigame sighed and jumped up onto a building's roof and sat down, back facing the direction of Mercury and the girl. He placed his hand on his side and sighed quietly. "I need Tsunade..."

"Here."Merc through a small black bag.It landed right next to Ikigame."Its a healing mixure of herbs and chakra.Tsunade made it for me.Use it as you wish."She took the young girlto a house adn knocked at the door.A man answered."Mercury!"

"Hello Kaio.Your daughter was out training and got herself knocked out.She probably wont remember anything."

Kaio took the girl into his arms."Thank you dear child."

Merc smiled and walked away.

Ikigame's nose crinkled from the gesture of medicine. He swated it from the roof. He ripped off his shirt and tied it around his wounded chest.

The demon girl stared at her love.She sighed."And to think.I thoguht he could change.He'll probably go back to his seducing days again..."She picked up Zabuza and Haku once more and walked to the ramen shop.

Ikigame got off the roof and sat back down in his spot when he got stabbed. "I told her I wanted to leave this fucking place..Then she wouldn't even let me kill that bitch..."

Merc placed a hand on her stomach,which had gotten slightly bigger.She sighed.

Ikigame got up, shrugging it off a bit. "I'm leaving now..."

Mercury sniffled and held her uncontious sensei."I told him he was acting different.."

A girl,about 16,wearing a black kimono,approached Ikigame."Hi there."

Ikigame looked over his shoulder at the girl, noting her attractiveness. He narrowed his eyes and turned around fully. "What is it?" He asked coldly.

The girl smiled."You have pretty eyes.."She giggled.

"I don't need your petty comments." He scoffed, turning back around and walking once more.

She smiled and followed him.

"What do you want?" Ikigame asked hearing her footsteps.

"Nothing."She smiled.

"Then leave me alone." He demanded, shutting his eyes and crossing his arms.

Ikigame growled under his breath and let his head fall towards the ground. "Leave."

"I cant."The girl giggled.

"Why the bloody hell not?" He asked harshly

"Shes in a trance."A man said.He was leaning on a tree.

"Want a permanent sleep to go with that trance?" He asked, letting one hand fall to his pouch

The man rolled his eyes.He was wearing a trenchcoat and a hood so you couldnt see his face.But you could see red hair..

Ikigame whipped around and gripped the girl by her neck, holding his kunai to her chest.

"Go ahead.Girls like her only cause a problem in this village."The man said

Ikigame didn't hesitate, sending his hand and the kunai up through her ribs and chest.

The girl gasps her last breath,and fell over dead.

He shook his hand and arm of the blood, turning and walking once more. I don't even want the head protector this time...

"Shes not a ninja.Just a normal girl." The man said

Ikigame shrugged and headed out of the village

The man grabbed Ikigame's arm."Hold on.I want to show you something.You might wana see this."

Ikigame sighed and turned around, following the man. What now?

The man made some hand signs and sand came up and formed into a mirror.Merc appeared.She was crying and stabbing her hand with a kunai.

"Why on Earth...Mercury..I'm gonna fuckin' kill you." Ikigame said angrily and started running off towards the building she was in.

The man smiled.

Mercury cried as she bled and stabbed herself.

Zabuza and Haku were still unconscience

Ikigame came through the door and sighed upon seeing Mercury. "Mercuy, what the hell are you doing to yourself?"

"Ikigame!"Merc gasped and crawled over to the corner.

Ikigame's face quickly softened seeing her crawl away like that. He walked over and hunched down, pulling her hand to his lips and kissing it gently.

The young demon pulled away,shivering."Don't kill me.."

Ikigame gripped her wrist still, clearing all the blood from her hand with his tongue. "I won't...Mercury..why did you do this to yourself?" He asked quietly, tearing the wrap from his left arm roughly.

Merc yanked her arm away."Because I didn't want you to go..And you acted so cruel...Gaara told me...Yo kiled my best friend!"

"I was attacked here, you think I would hold you in some place where you didn't want to be?" Ikigame gently grabbed her wrist and began to wrap her hand.

"I'm sorry Iki-kun..."

"It's okay." He said warmly, wrapping the acess wrap around her wrist and forearm. "Please, just don't harm yourself anymore."

"Sensei and Haku are still sleeping.."

Ikigame walked over to them and gave them a firm shake.

Zabuza woke up but Haku was snoring.

"Come on, we're leaving." Ikigame said down to them.

Merc nodded sadly.

"Unless Mercury wants to stay that is." Ikigame added.

"You dont want to stay though..."

"As long as I don't get attacked anymore I won't mind."

"We should just go.."Merc mumbled.

"I won't argue anymore." Ikigame said helplessly.

Zabuza picked up Haku."Not argueing with the prego woman."

Merc rolled her eyes.

"Enough..." Ikigame said quietly, walking out of the building slowly.

Merc and Zabuza followed silently.

Ikigame sighed and looked to the ground rather sadly. "I didn't mean to, she was just pestering me.."

Merc wraped one arm around Ikigame."Dont worry.."

Ikigame looked down at her and smiled weakly.

Mercury murred.

Ikigame kissed her lips gently and continued to walk.

"Aw..Now aint that a happy sigfht?"Zabuza smiled.

Ikigame blushed and looked back at him. "Hm...Ain't that a cute sight?"

"What is?"Zabuza blinked.

Merc giggled."Meany Iki-kun!"

Ikigame grinned and looked forward again. "Nothing really...Just an inside joke I guess."

Zabuza noticed Haku in his arms."Oh haha!Very funny kittycat.."

Ikigame froze up and twitched a few times. "What...did you just call me?" His voice coming out through clenched teeth.

"Kittycat."Zabuza repeated,in a abnoctious voice.

Merc blniked."Oh shit.."

Ikigame turned quickly and glared at Zabuza. "I'M NOT A KITTYCAT,I'M JUST A LITTLE DIFFERENT IS ALL!" He screamed making handsigns so fast they weren't recognizable to the nakkid eye. After he did the hand signs he touched his body and he glowed a bright blue color before he completely disappeared like the wind. I'll show you!

Merc blinked."IKIGAME!He was joking!!He didn't mean it seriously!!!!!"

Zabuza looked around."Hes...Kinda insecure.."

Ikigame gave a swift blow to Zabuza's back and quickly disappeared again, kind of attacking Zabuza like Kiba and Akamaru did to Naruto in the chounin exams, only he wasn't using smoke.

Zabuza fell over,dropping Haku.

Mercury gasped and used herself as a sheild."Iki-kun!~Calm down please."

Ikigame laid another swift blow to Zabuza's leg and disappeared once more. "Nobody calls me a kittycat and gets away with it!"

Merc sniffled."Please Iki-kun!!!!"

Ikigame stopped running and tapped his body a few times with his hands. "Whatever." He became visible once more and shut his eyes. "I don't like being called a kittycat."

"He was joking..Besides.You're my kittycat."Merc hugged him.

"Okay, so I let you, and only you, call me kittycat..." Ikigame muttered quietly as he looked over to the lying men. "You're lucky that wasn't my Kekkai Genkai Zabuza-sama, I don't think you'd be breathing right now..."

Zabuza got up,breathing heavily."Damnit..You're damn strong...."

Haku curled up,snoring.

Merc smiled.

Ikigame blinked a few times and sighed. "I'll never be as strong as a legend such as yourself Zabuza-sama."

"Me?Strong?Please.More like insane."

"You are strong lord, you've just softened a little is all."

"Alittle?I have a best friend and a step daughter.You call that a little?"

Ikigame grew pale all of a sudden. He sniffled and looked at Zabuza with big, pleading eyes. "I'm not your step son-inlaw?"

"Um..I consider you one but..You and Merc arent married..."Zabuza blinked.

"We might as well be, I got her pregnant..." Ikigame noted.

"True."Zabuza agreed.

Merc glomped Ikigame.

Ikigame lost balance and fell backwards. "Ow.."

Ikigame stood up holding Mercury in his arms.

Mercury squirmed and giggled.

Zabuza picked Haku up again and sighed.

"Where do you want to go?" Ikigame asked the three.

"Hows about the mist village?"Merc and Zabuza said in unison.

"Now that is a place I think is livable." Ikigame said happily.

"True."Zabuza said cheerfully.

Merc did a transformation jutsu,making her look like a four year old,brown haired normal girl.

Ikigame lifted the girl up and placed her on his shoulders, holding her hands firmly. "Trying to fit in?" He asked with a smile.

"Trying my best."She smiled.

"Well, lets go then." Ikigame said as he made a one handed hand-sign and disappeared.
