Walking wounded
Mute rage
Limousine glass mask
Intoxicated by chaos memories
And my emotions in violent rapids

The cruel and crumbled cities
The ruins of my soul
And the leaden sky.

Destroyers

I cant stand your overactions
To me living
Doing what i have to do
Mum, dont you know im ashamed of everything im not
Everything i cant be
That the hurt i call my own
Is attatched deep in me
For always and forever
The tragedies of my scars you cant see
You dont have to watch or bear the suicide of what might be left of me
Thats not poisoned, ruined
Consumed by overwhelming sadness
With little or no hope of relief
To be trapped inside
Irrepressible sadness

Its hard to make sense of all of this
How your knife in my heart(again!) was such a near miss
I closed my tear filled eyes as i walked out the door
Was driven i should say
To return no more
I had no choice
Had to save whats left of me
Reclaim my life, my individuality
I should have known better
Known i dont need you to prove my worth, my value
I made my escape from your noose
And im relieved
