Shio went to the front of the store and turned the closed sign around to open. he then went around to the front desk and dialled the vets phone number "Hi it's Shio...yeah Im fine thanks, listen I have three puppies here that have been abandoned, one hurt his leg...sure...ok see you this evening thanks" He put down the phone and smiled at the pink collar that was on the till desk.

Kirill walked into the pet store and looked around for a moment before walking into the aisle with the sign of 'Pet Food' overhead. He looked at the food piled on the shelves, huffing when he mainly found dog of cat food. "Seems they don't treat lizards right around here." He let out a small sigh and smacked his fist against a bag of food, sending it sliding against another pile as if it were a small air hockey puck. "I hate humans. Come on Poncho, lets find some treats, hm?" He walked a little further down the aisle and grabbed a couple bags of bird treats, turning them over in his hands and reading the backs of them curiously. "Damn, you birds sure do like a lot of different flavors... Kimonos simply stick with meat and that's that."

Shio looked up from the till hearing some bags of food being shoved around, he shrugged and looked back down at the magazine he was reading.

"Well, let's get these bought. I'll buy you both bags so that you have a bit of a variety." Kirill walked out of the aisle and over to the till, eyeing Shio for a moment before putting on a small smile and placing the bags on the counter. "How much?"

"Two fifty a bag...fiver all togther" Shio smiled "What a lovely bird"

"Pretty bird! Pretty Bird! Poncho pretty bird!" Poncho sqwuaked out from atop Kirill's shoulder. Kirill simply laughed softly and pulled some money out of his pocket. He handed the few bills to Shio and nodded. "He gets praise a lot when it comes to apperance, mainly from the women."

Shio liahged and reached his hand over to the bird "Does he bite?"

"Of course he does, but only when he wishes to investigate people, and even then he does not bite hard." Poncho jumped from Kirill's shoulder and landed on Shio's arm, quickly climbing up his arm and to his shoulder. He bit at his ear and hair softly, curiously even, investigating what kind of being Shio was.

Shio jumped a little as the bird jumped on him "Hes so sweet!" he giglled as the bird played with his hair.

"Cat!" He whistled out, bobbing his head up and down and cooing in a triumphant way. "He really is, just a bit excentric at times when he feels accomplished."

"Aww well he's a lovely thing...oh and thankyou" SHio took the money from the male.

"Alright, Poncho. We should really get back to Arlian, poor fella'." Kirill sighed, reaching over to the male's shoulder and picking the bird up in his hand. "Well, I suppose I mgiht see you later, depends on how long Chipetsua decides to stay away.. Ah, sorry, I 'm babbling, ignore that."

"Arlian and Chipetsua - I know them, how is Arliaan I heard about...y'know him getting raped...the guy came in here, exactly Chipetsuas double" Shio lowered his voice a bit so the other cutsomers couldnt hear.

"So, that's what happened... Rape... I see. Well, I suppose he was lucky that Chipetsua arrived to late, the other guy, I mean. Poor Arlian is forced to drink these medical drinks every two hours for two full days, and it makes him sick, he said. he and Chipetsua had a sort of fight, so, they aren't getting along right now.. Seems like he will only rely on that pup right now, seeing as I am not there to help out.. Well, anyways, I should get going. See you later." He grabbed the two bags of treats and exited out of the store with a wave over the shoulder.

"Bye" Shio smiled "And bye birdie!"

Kirill walked into the pet store and looked around for a moment, heading off into an aisle when he recognized it to be a medical type aisle. He grabbed some bandages and some pins from the shelf, nodding in approval at his choices.

Shio sat behind the tills, not really noticing the people in the store.

Kirill made his way to the till and placed the pins and bandages on the counter, humming quietly as he pet Poncho's neck. "How much do I owe you?"

Shio looked up to see Kirill and the bird again "oh" He blushed slightly "Um...dont worry about it...if you went to the vets they would give you them for free...so who am I to charge you?"

"Not for the supplies.. For breaking off the date. I'm really sorry." He lifted Poncho up from his shoulder and placed him on Shio's shoulder instead when he realized that the bird was trying to fly over to him with one wing.

Shio smiled at the bird "Oh...the date...that dosen't matter atall...im sure it was just Arlian forcing you into it anyway" He smiled weakly.

"Yeah, but only after he forced it out of me that I think you're cute." Kirill said quietly, a blush coming to his cheeks.

Shio looked at him "You dont have to say that to make me feel better atall..."

"Well, honestly, I shouldn't have said it because it makes me feel weird, like I have a thousand butterflies flapping around in my stomach."

Shio frowned and stood up from behind the desk "I said you dont have to say that. I mean, look at me, I know you are only here and saying these things so I dont feel bad."

"Shio, do you honestly think I am just saying it to make you feel better? Well I'm not, I'm saying it because it's the truth, and anybody in here would say the same thing. And no, I am not here simply to make you feel better I am here because my bird was attacked by some fucked hyena and needs more bandages." All said rather calmly considering the sudden anger bubbling under the surface.

"And you have the bandages" Shio said rather blankly, putting Poncho down on toto the till desk.

"Shio, please don't push me away already." kirill let out a small sigh and grabbed the bendages on the top of the desk, stuffing them into his pocket.

Shio looked down slightly "Im not...I barely know you"

"Yes, and if you push me away we will never get to know each other." Kirill sighed softly and picked Poncho back up, holding his claws and walking back down the aisles to the doors.
