The Second Floor of Dry Lake Manor

Even as the manor was passed down through the generations of the Wylie family, the no room of the second floor has ever lost its purpose or required reconstruction. As a result, the only new additions ever made to this floor since it's completion has been furniture, books (for the library), and plants (for the atrium).

Sitting/Family Room

Actually appears more like a high-class living room that the "living room" on the first floor. The sitting room has elegant sofas and coffee tables and--the focal point of the space--a beautiful grand piano. Is attached to a room with a conspicuously locked door.

Library

Aside from a few wooden tables and chairs, appears to contain nothing but books, bookcases, and the occasional globe. Still has the original fireplace, as well as the original ornate grill.

Balcony

An open-air space with a tiny bistro table and two chairs. Would be a pleasant reading area during sunny weather--but in Dry Lake, that's a long shot.

West Atrium

A room with windows on all sides and a palatial bird cage (which has been empty for decades) featured in the center. Plants hang from the metal frames of this room's glass walls, and upon looking up one can see that both the windows and the hooks for hanging plants go all the way up to the fifth floor.

East Atrium

A room with windows on all sides and a table holding an ornate bonsai garden featured in the center. Plants hang from the metal frames of this room's glass walls, and upon looking up one can see that both the windows and the hooks for hanging plants go all the way up to the fifth floor.

Sitting/Family Room

Raevan walked them across the sitting room to the other stairs and led them up to Manor House: Third Floor where the bedrooms were. "I think there's a library and windows to the atrium's up here." She explained as the ascended the stairs.

Justin simply nodded along as he was lead along to the upper floors to Manor House: Third Floor. He didnt know where exactly they were headed but he assumed it was to a room he could drop his bags off at.

Craven Fallowed the others up the stairs. He was to busy taking in the architecture of the house and it's layout to really pay attention to what the others were saying, he barely was paying enough attention to keep up with them and fallow them to the Manor House: Third Floor.

Grayson had hurried along next to the group, remaining silent as they spoke, only nodding in any place he felt appropriate before he disappeared up the stairs with them to the Manor House: third floor.

So many stairs! Olivia thought with a deep huff as she adjusted her grip on her bags and carried on through the old manor house, heading straight for the next set of stairs that would lead up to Manor house: third floor.

Missing Olivia but just a few minutes, Craven made his way down the stairs. stopping momentarily to snap his first picture of the family home, even if it came out blurry Craven knew this picture would be one of his favorites. smiling to himself he walked on and down the stairs to Manor House: First Floor

Leading the way across the family room, Raevan didn't waist any time on the second floor before heading downstairs to Manor House: First Floor

Justin hopped down the steps to follow Raven to Manor House: First Floor.

2016-11-02 [ancienteye]: Mwahahaha~ Yeah, but anyone can be outside the house and go "Yep, there's the attic and atriums up there. Now, how to get there..." But the mystery room...you don't know it exists until you find it. >:P

2016-11-02 [ancienteye]: But, yeah. The one room with the big purple/pink lock on it isn't hidden. You can see the door!

The other one...is harder to find, but anyone with a tape measure can see there's supposed to be something there.

Then, there's a trick to get up to the attic (actually, like, three different tricks, but you only need one to get up there).

And /then/ there's a part of the house that the contestants wouldn't even know exist until they find it (or until they do some research on the house and/or ask their parents about it).

2016-11-07 [ancienteye]: Uh...I didn't really notice this until /after/ my computer froze up last night, but while you don't have to post in every room your character passes through, it would be appreciated if you at least post in every /floor/ your character passes through.
