2006-06-11 [Linn Scarlett]: My stories have one setting: Gor-gornoth. And they don't leave it -_-'. I do change scenes if you get my drift, i've nifty little " X ---- X ---- X " signalling the change of a scene and mostly a character too. Because there are three stories entwined: That of finding the artifact; that of Linnerial's daily life and that of Meldor trying to keep his head above the water.
2006-06-11 [Metalelf]: Ah, my characters travel a lot...being rogues, they're always on the run.
2006-06-11 [Linn Scarlett]: ahh
2006-06-11 [Metalelf]: Yeah...seems they're never in the same place for more than a week. They just don't have much luck with staying put.
2006-06-11 [Linn Scarlett]: I am glad I only have to design one city as a whole...
2006-06-11 [M. P. Ness]: First off...what do you color with? markers? photoshop?
2006-06-11 [Linn Scarlett]: cheap three-for-2,95 fillable-penci
2006-06-11 [Linn Scarlett]: It's all handwork
2006-06-11 [M. P. Ness]: secondly....I like to break my chapters where something has been accomplished, or where a point was made. Nightfall is not always the best place to end a chapter, because you can shorthand through the night and continue on with the same chapter quite smoothly without need to break. Other times, nightfall works just fine for breaks... its all about pacing... how do you want the story to feel in its rolling along. it should rise and fall a little bit during each chapter. treat a chapter, like a whole story all its own. complete with an arc of character, mood, setting, etc.
2006-06-11 [Linn Scarlett]: Well I don't know. I never think about it, I just concoct scenes, and i write them down. Rewrite them, type them out and then fix stuff every now and again. I've been working on these 90 pages on and off the last year (especially school got in the way and kept me from writting often)
2006-06-11 [Linn Scarlett]: would you wish to read them if i mailed them or uploaded them here for you?
2006-06-20 [Mikhul, the Bard]: Youre viking men are the best! Youre the first person ever who told me what a Drow is, and I've been a fan of them ever since. I love the Drows...they are beautiful. ^_^ You should be called "The goddess of the pen and sketchpad" lol!
2006-06-20 [Linn Scarlett]: *chuckles* I should be called that indeed >:) yes my drow are beautifull, but my barbarians are hot, if i may say so myself
2006-06-21 [Linn Scarlett]: *waves flag* I put Here the Angels Sing online :)
2006-09-10 [Paul Doyle]: Nope, I'm definitely not that hairy! xD
2006-09-10 [Linn Scarlett]: too bad ;)
2006-09-10 [Paul Doyle]: I suppose I could be like Austin Powers and wear a chest toupee.
2006-09-10 [Paul Doyle]: It's interesting how the Drow aren't hairy, and you love them all the same ;-)
2006-09-10 [melcinitan]: linn... please... don't bring up olrando's wig ;)
2006-09-10 [Linn Scarlett]: *chuckles* Like I said, I also like badass & nobility together ;)
