Glitch walked into his hut and shut the door behind him, yawning quietly into the air as he slid his fingers under his blue tanktop type shirt. He pulled it up and off of his shoulders, dropping it and lettign it hand as he undid the collar that held it in place. He tossed the shirt onto one of the few pieces of furniture he had in his hut, takign a seat in one of his chairs. He ran his fingers through his icy bangs and white hair and laid his head back agisnt the back of the cushioned chair, shutting his eyes loosely as he relaxed.

Kitani came into the hut with Maxius and Aiden, purring happily. She ran over to her father and jumped onto his lap, nuzzling against his chest softly and in response got a light ruffle of the hair by him.

Aiden and Maxius looked around the hut. "Impressive place....."

"Papa, they're staying with us! Is that okay?" She asked hyperly, giving him her puppy dog pout... She was extremely good at it.

Glitch smiled and opened up his eyes, lifting his head so that he could look at the two twins. "Thank you, Maxius and Aiden." He placed his hand atop Kitani's head and sat himself up. "As Kitani undeniablly said, you two may stay if you wish. Now, if you'll excuse me... I'm going to bed. Long day." He lifted the child up and set her on the ground, standing up himself and heading out of the room to head to his room.

When she was sure that her father was in his room and could not hear her easily, she turned around and smiled at the two. "You guys want to go into the human's city?"

They looked at each other then at her. "Human city?"

"Yeah! I go there almost every week, it's actually kind of fun to go exploring the malls and stuff. It's past two mountains, through the valley and over a hill. Wanna go?"

They look at each then then whisper in each others ears. "Ok......well go..."

Her ears perked up when she saw them whispering, her smile dropping for a moment. She nodded softly turned around, heading off to her own room. "I'll be right back."

"Alright.." They both said as she walked away. They looked around the place.

She came back out a few moments later wearign a different set of clothes, a light blue skirt and a white long sleeve shirt with a pair of wraps on her feet. She pulled her blue hair back and up into a higih ponytail. "Ready to go?"

They stared at her for a moment then nodded. "Yes....."

"Will you be able to make it? I mean, are you sure you'll be warm enough in grandpa and grandma?" She asked.'

They smiled and nodded then took the fur off. "We will be fine....."

"You're not going to wear the pelts?" She asked curiously, heading back tot he door of the hut.

Aiden smiled. "We wont need them..."

"Sure? Why not?" She purred out curiously.


Maxius looked at her. "It will be alittle odd.....wearing pelts in the city......" Aiden nodded.

"Well, okay.. But if you get cold tell me and we will head back. Okay?" She said, pushing the door open to the hut and walking out into the fresh snow of Glacial Peaks.

They both nodded and followed her out.

She lead the two into the hut and released their hands, sighing quietly as she made her way to the kitchen. "I'm sorry if Jet hurt your leg, Aiden."


Aiden looked at her. "its fine......" Maxius looked around.

"Are either of you hungry?" She asked, reaching up onto a shelf on the wall and grabbing some wrap for her fingers. She walked over to the sink and ran her hand under cold water. "And I'm sorry if I got any blood on your shirt, Maxius."

"dont worry about it......" maxius smiled slightly. "No...we arent hungry...."

Glitch walked into the hut and tossed the bags to Maxius and Aiden, nodding his head to them curtly. "I'm guessign the underwear is not for either of you." He said with a bit of amsement in his voice.

Kitani walked out of the kitchen with freshly wrapped fingers and leaned against the wall, watching her father warily.

Aiden shrugged. And maxius shook his head. "No...its not....."

"I am sorry about Jet, Max and Dan. He should not have acted in such a way, least of all to you three. It will not happen again... That is all I came to say." He bowed to them politely and headed back out of the hut.

"Thank you for not leaving, Maxxie.. You too, rag doll." She giggled despite herself and crossed her arms over her chest, her heatbeat starting to finally slow.

Maxius nodded as Glitch left the hut then he looked at her, aiden yawned.

"There is a room down the hall if you wish to rest, Aiden. I really would like to speak with Maxxie for a few moments, that is, if you do not mind." She bowed her head slightly.

Aiden laughed. "Yeah whatever......" he walked down the hall and layed on the bed instantly falling asleep. Maxius looked at Kitani.

She let out a silent 'Hmph!' at the laughing, a blush on her face as she watched him leave. She looked back to Maxius and gestured fro him to take a seat on the couch, walking over to sit in it herself.

Maxius sat next to her and looked at her. "What did you need to talk to me about?"

"You like me." She said in an innocent and childish way, poking his bicep softly.

He smiled and laughed slightly. "Yeah....I do...."

"Aw! I broke through that arrogant banter!" She cooed out, her tail wagging a bit. Her pleased and excited face kind of dessolved as a frown emerged on her features, her eyes dropping to her lap.

Maxius looked at her. "Whats wrong........"

"I should tell you about Jet... He uh.. Is the type of man who takes his rage out through sex.. And because it was my father who got him so angered, which was only caused because of my leaving without saying anything to him, he was going to rape me..." She turned her eyes to look up, trying to hold back some tears threatening to come out, her boody trembling a bit.

Maxius looked at her then pulled her close. "Its ok.....i wont let him touch you......"

When he pulled her close her tears let loose and spilled down her cheeks, her fur dampening in a thin line from the liquid. She let out a weak smile and a fake chuckle through her tears. "I'm pretty sure... he would've raped Aiden.... had not my brothers and sisters came out of their huts.." She said through slight sniffles.

Maxius laughed as he wiped her tears away. "Im here for you........."

"For what it's worth... he does need to release some tension..." She nuzzled into his chest, wiping her tears on his whirt.

He looked at her and smiled.

She pulled back from his chest and kissed his lips tenderly, her arms coming round the back of his neck.

Maxius held her close kissing her warmly.

Kitani swiped her tongue over his lips in a quiet plea for entrance, her fingers grippingagainst his back.

Maxius ran his fingers down her spine his tail wrapping around her, he opened his mouth slightly and sucked on her tounge gently.

She purred softly and scoot a bit closer to his form, her fur standing up on end under her shirt from his gentle hands sliding down her spinal. Her pinkish apendage swiped over the inner of his mouth and his tongue, her tail curling around his waist.

Maxius picked her up onto his lap and bit her lower lip gently.

She pulled her lip from his teeth and kissed his lower lip before trailing kisses past his jawline and down his neck, her tongue flikcing over his skin.

Maxius felt her body gently, he licked and sucked on her ear lobe gently. Aiden watched them for a moment then walked back into the room he was in.

She moaned quietly from her ear being shown attention, her body shuddering as one of her few hot spots being sucked on. He let her ear droop slightly as she nipped at the crook of his neck.

He smiled and gently cupped one of her breast kissing her neck softly.

Kitani arched her breasts against him a bit as she released his neck, her neck arching slightly so hae could have better acess to her tender neck.

Maxius licked her neck then nibbled on her nipples through her shirt.

She giggled lightly and bit her lower lip, her back arching a bit more. "Ah.... Maxxie.." She purred out, trailing on hand up the back of his neck and into his hair.

Maxius smiled then kissed her deeply.

She kissed him back passionately if only for a few moments before she released his lips and nuzzled into his form, a purr coming from her throat. "I really like you, Maxxie."

He held her tightly. "And I really like you.............." he smiled.

She smiled happily as her ears twitched at the sound of a low, mocking purr coming from the hallway. She lifted her head to see one of her dad's pets, a parrot known as Jicser. She whistled over to him and had him flying towards her, his claws gripping gently into her as he perched himself on her shoulder to investigate the strange man holding her. He sqwaked and flapped his wings in a type of protective way.

Maxius smiled and looked at the bird.

The parrot pecked his forehead and sqwaked once more, his tail flaring out behind him. "Get away! Release! Drop it!" Jicser sqwaked out, repeating what Glitch had said to some of the other panthers' kits when they were being feisty. Kitani merely chuckled and pulled away from Maxius and flipped herself around, laying on the couch and grabbing the bird gently. "Apologize, Jicser." She said softly yet firmly. He didn't make any notion to.

Maxius blinked and looked at the bird. Aiden yawned and layed on the bed looking at the ceiling.

He got loose of Kitani's hands and flew at Maxius, pecking his head once more as he stayed airborne right before his face, sqwaking before landing in his lap and biting at his stomach through the shirt.

Kitani laughed and placed her hands over her stomach, her ears laying flat against her head. "Aw, I think he is either jealous or has learned too much from papa, Maxxie!"

He smiled and his ear twitched.

As he threatened to start nipping at his nipples Kitani kicked him away, a slight growl infused with a chuckle coming from her throat as she saw the bird smack the wall and slide down, a low gruntish sound coming from him. "Those are mine, not yours."

Maxius smiled and laughed.

She crawled back into his lap and nuzzled agianstg his chest, her lips running over his clothed nipples. "Mine."

Maxius smiled and looked at her. "Oh really....."

"Ya' really." She nodded, a small chuckle coming from her when she felt Jicser biting her toe and trying to 'rescure' her from Maxius.

Maxius pulled her close and smiled.

She purred softly and placed her foot on the ground. "Perhaps you should eat now?"

He looked at her. "ok......" he smiled.

She gasped and looked up at him, a smile on her face. "Really?! Yay! What do you want? Perhaps a juicy parrot?" She asked, quirking a brow and watching the parrot run down the hallway frantically.

"What ever you have to offer me....." he smiled.

"Sure it'll be good enough for you?" She got off of his lap and reached down to help him up.

He smiled. "Of course......" and stood up.

"Then I will make you a bear meat sandwhich. Sorry, no type of sauces of seasonings at the moment. Is that fine?"

He smiled. "thats fine......"

She nodded and headed into the kitchen, reachign into the fridge and grabbing out the last of the bear meat, just enough for a sandwhich and a half. She ate a bit of it before grabbing some mayonaise and a slice of cheese. She put the sandwhich together and handed it to him, eating the left over meat and purring softly. "Here you go."

He took the sandwich from her and ate it. "Thanks......." he smiled at her.

"So.... You think Aiden would mind if I woke him up just for the hell of it?" She asked, chuckling softly.

Maxius shrugged. "go see......" he smiled.

She grinned happily and ran past him, heading out of the kitchen and down the hallway, turning into the room where she saw Aiden. She presumed he was a sleep because she could not see his eyes clearly under his bangs so grinned and ran at him, pouncing onto the bed and at him.

Aiden quickly spun around so he had her pinned to the bed, he smelt up her to her mouth then looked at her, his lips almost touching hers. "Trying to sneak up on me?"

She grinned smally and stopped herself from struggling, reminding herself that this was her friend and not some perverted male. "Thought you were sleeping."

He got off of her and laid on the bed. "No.....I was about to....then you came in....."

"Darn, if only I could've restrained myself for a few more minutes then I would've been able to wake you abruptly just for the hell of it." She noticed Jicser peeking in on them, his feathers puffed out when he saw that she was pinned, then released by the other neko male. "Ah, have you met Jicser yet?" She turned her head on the mattress and looked over at Aiden, tilting her head a bit.

He closed his eyes. "No.....but I really dont want to......" His bell jingled.

She smirked and turned herself on the bed, pushing herself up and climbing atop the neko's form, her bottom placed gently on his stomach and hips. "Ah, you're so grumpy." She reached down and jingled his bell a bit, the sound soothing to her ears.

Aiden looked at her with his one good eye, his hair covering his eye patch.

"Why is that, Aiden? What makes you so grumpy? Perhaps I can help you, be your vent dummy?" She suggested, pushing his hair away from the golden bell connected to the red collar.

He looked at her and shook his head. "No........" He sat up and sat her to the side and he laid back down looking at the ceiling.

She crossed her legs, her hand still connected to the bell, and smiled softly. "You amuse me, aiden, you really do."

He chuckled. "I get that alot......." he stretched and yawned.

"Please tell me why you are so grumpy? I am persistant and will keep asking till I figure it out."

He looked at the ceiling. "I lost someone......a long time ago.........she left me with a hole....in my heart......." he closed his eyes. "Thats why......" he said softly.

She hugged him softly around the neck and kissed his cheek. "I am sorry, but you should let these things out and not bottle them up for so long."

He flinched slightly at the kiss making the bell around his neck jingle.

"Uh.. I am sorry.. You must want me to leave, huh, so you can get some rest?" She asked, pulling back from him and grabbing the cover, pulling it over his form.

Aiden laid there not saying a word, he closed his eyes.

She smiled gently and leaned over him, moving a few bangs from his face and kissing his forehead before making her way out of the bed. She beckoned for the parrot for him to come over to her. He did and landed on her arm, sqwakign quietly and looking over her shoulder to watch Aiden. "Have a good sleep, Aiden. Perhaps we can talk in the morning.

Aiden smiled slightly. "Maybe....." he closed his eyes and fell asleep.

She nodded and walked out of the room, heading back itno the front room of the hut. She turned her head to look at Maxius, sighing softly. "I think he is a bit depressed."

Maxius looked at her and nodded. "Thats how he always is........" he looked at her and smiled.

"Nobody should be depressed, not even just a little... You think maybe he would let me help him somehow?" She asked, shrugging the parrot from her shoulder.

Maxius looked at her. "If he is ever happy.....like me....then there is something terribly wrong.........him being the way he is.....he need to feel depressed in order to control his powers......if I smile he frowns...if I frown he smiles....."

"And what of a chuckle from him?" Kitani leaned back agaisnt the wall, her arms crossing over her breats. "So, him being depressed is him being happy?"

Maxius nodded. "Basically........and he chuckles....I laugh...."

"Who was this girl who "shoved a dagger through his heart"?" She asked, using this term as metaphor.

Maxius thought for a moment. "I forgot her name....but he fell in love with her...........but she left him for someone else......"

"He said he may talk to me about it later when he wakes up, so maybe I'll learn her name from him." She pushed herself away from the wall and wlaked over to him, hugging him and kissing his cheek softly. "I promise, I won't betray your trust."

He smiled. "I trust you........"

She sighed and slumped against him. ""I should go see Jet, hm?"

"Thats up to you......" he looked at her.

She smiled gently and ran her fingers through his hair, fiddling with the white tresses delicately. "I wanna play with your hair." She said out of the blue, reaching down and grabbing his hand, leading him to the couch and setting him down. She crawled behind him, her legs going around his, and began to run her fingers through the hair again.

He blinked and smiled. "Ok......"

She grabbed a piece of his hair and began to braid it. "Have you ever been in love?"

He looked down. "No......Ive always had to watch aiden, making sure he doesnt get introuble......I never had time...."

"Hn. I see. So, he is basically the child and you are the parental figure...?" She questioned, tilting her head a bit.

"No....we are the same.....he watchs me I watch him...." he smiled.

"But... He still had time for love.." She grabbed another piece of hair and began to braid it, her tail coming around and wrapping around him.

He nods. "Yeah...."

"Well, atleast you have time for me.. Perhaps because I think it is fun to be with the both of you. Heh.. You're gonna have all your hair braided by time I'm done with it." She giggled cutely and took up another chunk of hair.

Maxius smiled and at her as she braided his hair.

She gasped and staretd to braid quicker, tightening her pull a bit so the braids would be a bit tighter. "You would look so cute with crimped hair."

He blinked. "I dont think i woild......"

"I do." She giggled a bit more, pulling his head back by his hair and kissing the top of his head.

He smiled and closed his eyes.

Her hands moved through the hair skillfully, finding it a lot easier to braid in pieces than her father's hair or her own. It was short, in her eyes, and not quite as thick as the panthers' hair, so much easier to run her fingers through. When she felt she was finished she pulled her hands back from the hair and ran her fingers along his back, her head laying down on his shoulder.

Maxius smiled and closed his eyes.

"Hey, Maxxie.." She said softly, wrapping her arms around him.

"Yeah........" he opened his eyes and his ears twitched.

She kissed his ear softly and smiled. "Thank you for being there for me when I needed you."

He smiled. "It what Im here for..........."

"Ironicly, we were the ones who brought you in and offered you comfort if you needed it." She pulled back from him and ran her fingers through the bottom of his hair, the briads al;ready starting to become undone.

He smiled and took a deep breath.

"Are you okay?" She asked, one of her fingers catching on the collar as her fingers slid through his hair tips. "Oops. Sorry." She said, pulling her hand back.

He nodded and smiled. "Yes...im fine...."

"Are you tired, dear?"

He smiled. "No....im not...."

"I still can;t believe that you don't sleep.."

He stood up and stretched. "Well...believe it......" He smiled.

"Well, would you be willing to lay down with me?" She asked, rubbing her eyes with the back of her hand.

He smiled, "Of course......."

She smiled softly and stood up, stretching out her legs before grabbing his hand gently and leading him down the hallway to her own room. She released his hand and headed to the bed. She laid down on it and curled up to a pillow.

Maxius sat on the floor and watched her.

When she noticed he was not in the bed she turned her head to look back at him, her ears drooping a bit. "You said you would lay with me..."

He smiled and layed next to her and closed his eyes.

She smiled happily and nuzzled into his chest, her ears perking once more as she shut her eyes and slowly drifted off.

Maxius smiled and gently kissed her forehead.

~~A little while later~~

Kitani woke up with a stretch of the arms agaisnt Maxius' sides. She yawned against his chest, her fangs sinking into his skin when she shut her mouth. She meeped and pulled them out of him at the taste of his blood. She pushed herself up and wiped her lips, a slight frown on her face. "I'm sorry..."

Maxius blinked then looked at her then at the punctures that were dripping blood. "Its fine....."

"I'm really sorry." She licked her fangs of the blood then leaned down and began to lick at the blood, her ears drooping slightly.

He smiled and watched her. "Its ok......you like it?"

"You taste.... really sweet.." She noted between licks. "You wouldn't mind if I..." She gestured to his wounds, pulling her lip back to expose her fang.

He shook his head. "No...of course not......have fun.."

She reached down and grabbed at his shirt, removing it from his chest and body easily. She dug her fang into one of the punctures, dragging it down and openeing a slight gash in his chest. She purred and lapped at the blood, her nose nuzzling into the red liquid slightly. "Mmm..."

Maxius laid there letting her lap up his blood.

She nuzzled her cheek agaisnt the wound, her form laying comfortably on his legs, pelvis and chest. "It tastes like candy."

His ears twitched and his bell jingled.

"Do you eat many sweets?" She asked, reaching up and caressing the bell with her thumb.

He shook his head. "No....i dont...."

"Then I wonder why your blood is so sweet..." She sighed out contently, licking the blood some more.

Maxius thought for a moment. "I think aidens must be sour......"

She gasped softly and looked up. "Sour is good... Sour and sweet and cinnamon hot are all so yummy..." She purred out, her tail wagging.

Maxius smiled and laughed.

"You think he would mind if I tried some of his blood?" She asked, tilting her head slightly.

"I dont know......maybe....." he smiled.

"Well, all I want to taste at this particular moment is you." She slid herself up his form and kissed his lips, his blood smearing onto his lips.

Maxius smiled against the kiss and licked her lips.

She felt the lick and pulled back, smiling a bit. "So, what do you think? Good, ne? Nice and sweet.. kind of over powers the bitterness of the blood.

He smiled. "Wow....your right...." Aiden sat up in the bed and smelt the air then ran out quickly and silently out to Glacial peaks

She gasped and ran after him, worried about Maxius.

Kitani sighed quietly when she saw Domenic on the couch and Jet sitting next to him on the chair. She walked over to Jet and pat his shoulder softly, kkissing his cheek before heading down the hallway to her father's room.


Maxius looked at jet then at domenic still following her. Aiden looked around.

Even though the light energy had forced the dark energy from his body, Glitch's eyes were completely blackened as well as his fur being a slightly darker color. He was sitting up rubbing at his eyes, not being able to stand that the darkness was blocking his sight. His head popped up as he sniffed at the air, his ips dragging back and his mouth opening as he tasted his daughter's and Maxius' scent. "Ah, hello to the both of you.. I trust you two are fine and not hurt?"

When Kitani saw the panther's eyes and his fur she stopped in her tracks and just stared at him, her brows drawing together in a scowl. "Father... your eyes.. and your.. fur.."

Maxius looked at Glitch and shook his head. "Its jace.....he is all evil......and it just takes over te body...."

"There is seomthing wrong with my fur?" He asked quickly, standing himself up and holding his arms out in front of him to look at his fur, but due to his eyes could not. "Damn it, what is wrogn with it, Kitani.. Maxius?" He asked.

Kitani sighed softly and ran her fingers through his arm fur, frowning a bit. "Is he going to stay like this, Maxius?"

Maxius nodded and looked at kitani. "No......"

She sighed a sigh of relief and looked back at the other panther, letting go of his arm. "Your fur... it is kind of dark and has blotches of black on it."

"What?!" He growled out, tossing his arms up into the air and making his way to the bathroom. "Dammit! That is exactly why I hate fucking humans or any variations of them! They are hella evil and only care about themselves." From the bathroom the breaking of glass could be heard followed by a slamming of a drawr.

MAxius winced at the pain in his side. Aiden looked at maxius.

Kitani flinched a bit from the loud noises then looked at Maxius. "Maxius, sit down and remove your shirt."

Maxius shook his head. "No...im fine.."

"Maxius." She said, gesturing for him to sit down.

Maxius sighed then sat down and took his shirt off, he had a massive black burn that the ball of energy, his flesh was eatin away by the hellish energy.

Not being able to help but let out a groan and a sigh of digust, Kitani walked over to him and kneeled down before him. She inspected the wound a bit more, biting her bottom lip, the grip tightening a bit more with each second she looked at the wound until she started to bleed. "Aiden, you mind going into the bathroom and grabbing some medical supplies? I promise, my dad will refrian from taking his anger out on you. Just ask for the medical kit."

Maxius winced atit began to ooze a dark liquid. Aiden went to the bathroom. "glitch....maxius needs the medical kit..."

Glitch opened the door and handed him the first-aid kit, shutting the door to hide the damage he had caused to the small room.

"You said you were fine, Maxius... Dammit, why weren't you right?" She sighed out, rubbing the bridge of her nose.

Maxius smiled slightly. "sorry....." he closed his eyes. Aiden walked over to kitani. "here....." He handed her the medical kit.

"Not your fault.. Nobody is right about everything." She took the first-aid kit and grabbed a medicated wipe from it, opening the package up and wiping up the wound. "Aiden, you're good with dark energy. How bad is it when you're bleeding the dark energy?"

Aiden looked at the wound. "Honestly....very bad....." Maxius smiled.

"Could he die if the dark energy is not removed?" She asked, placing her hands on either side of the wound and pressing it a bit making some more of the dark liquid infused with blood seep out. She shuddered a bit from the smell of the blood but qiped it up.

Maxius winced at the pain. Aiden nodded. "Yeah.....but he has to remove it himself......his body naturally being light....can remove it...."

She sighed and kept the wipe pressed to his side. "Alright, then remove it, Maxius." She looked back at Aiden and gestured for him to come over to her, holding out her hand so she could take his wrist.

Aiden knelt next to her. Maxius clenched his fist.

"Heh.. Maxius got me curious earlier..." She said, grabbing his wrist and pulling it to her mouth. She bit down into his skin and let her mouth fill with blood before releasing his arm and swallowed the blood, licking at her lips to get a bit more of the taste. "Not too bad. Kind of good, not as sweet as your's, Maxius, but not horrible."

Aiden watched her then blinked. "Ok...." Maxius shivered at the tremendous pain.

"Maxius, are you trying to force it out?" She asked, a look of worry on her face.

Maxius smiled slightly then passed out. Aiden stood up and picked him up. "where can I take him......"

"Take him into my room." She said firmly, gesturing towards the room next to her father's. "I'll be right in."

Aiden nodded and walked to her room and laid maxius on the bed.

When she had grabbed a cold wet rag she entered in behind the two and headed for the bed once he was laid down on the bed. She folded the rag up and laid it gently across his head, moving his bangs out of the way.

Aiden watched her then looked at maxius.

"Is he going to be alright?" She asked softly looking back at Aiden as she ran her hand across his chest.

Aiden shook his head. "I dont know....."

"Don't tell me that." She growled out, turning her gaze back to Maxius as she curled up against his unwounded side.

Maxius took small breathes. Aiden walked out and sat in the living room area.

She whimpered quietly and wrapped her arms aroudn him, shutting her eyes and nuzzling against him.

Jet looked up at Aiden and smiled a bit. "How is Glitch? He okay?"

aiden nodded. "He is ok.....it will wear off....."

"Well, that is good. He seems kind of upset... Such language. Is there something wrong with his fur?"

He nodded. "Yeah....." maxius twitched.

He let out a bellow of laughter at this, knowing the panther so well by this point. "He is really just a drama queen, so obsessed about his fur as if it were clothing to a human."

aiden nodded.

"So, where is the other kits at?"

Aidne looked at him. "Kitani is with maxius......he isnt doing so well...."

"Oh? What is wrong? Do we need to bring Alexandria or Alexander up?"

Aiden shook his head. "No.....he will be fine....."

"Well, you know you can always call them up if you need them." Jet said, nodding a bit towards the stirring Domenic.

Domenic sat himself up and grunted a bit, sighing quietly. "Is he gone?"

"Yeah........" aiden stood up then went to the room he was in earlier and laid on the bed.

"Well, he's just as social as ever.." Jet muttered, leaning back against the chair and crossing his arms.

Kitani sat herself up and looked at Maxius' side, frowning a bit. She reached over to it and began to wipe a bit of the blood and black energy away with her padded fingers.

Maxius flinched and began to breath heavly.

"Maxius..?" She whimpered out gently, running one of her hands along the side of his face.

Maxius began to calm down.

She smiled softly and moved herself so that she was next ot his head. She sat him up a bit and laid his head on her lap, her fingers running through his hair softly.

Aiden stood in the door way watching silently.

"You can come in if you wish... I promise, I won't bite you again."

Aiden shook his head. "Ill stay here......" Maxius's ear twitched.

"I wonder.. Why didn;t you two run when my dad told you to?"

Aiden shrugged. "he would have killed all of you.........."

"Maxius wouldn't be hurt, and you would have evaded my questioning of who the girl was who killed your heart." She looked back at him, one of her ears twitching slightly.

"Maxius can heal himself!.........and...and you dont need to know..about my personal life.........." Aiden turned around and walked back to the room he was in.

Kitani's ears sunk into her hair as they pressed against her head when she saw him leave. She gently removed herself from under Maxius' head, laying him back against the pillows, and headed out of the room after Aiden. "Aiden, I'm sorry. I just... I don't like seeing people suffer, especially friends."

Aiden layed on the bed with his hands behind his head looking at the ceiling.

"Are you going to ignore me now?" She sighed and walked over to the bed, sitting down next to him and looking down at him.

Aiden stared at the ceiling. "You.....look just like her........."

"Is that why you are always so quiet around me?" She asked, reaching over and combing his bangs out of his face.

Aiden nodded. "Yeah......."

"I'm sorry.. She must've been one wonderful woman to have made you love her. But.. if I ever see her I will tear her throat out for hurting you in such a way."

"Shes dead......." he sighed and closed his eyes. "she killed herself..."

Her ears sunk even further back against her head at this, her brows drawing together in a slightly thoughtful expression. "I'm sorry.. Tell me about her, Aiden."

He smiled slightly. "No.....Im not going to...."

"Okay." She said quietly before leaning down and kissing him on the forehead. "I'll respect your wishes."

Aiden had a flash back. "Ok.........."

"But you know, you don't have to be so quiet around me and you can talk to me when something is wrong.. Now, if you'll excuse me, I am going to go tend to Maxius' wound." She said, standing up and heading out of the room. She made her way back into her room and got onto the bed, grabbing a sheet and wiping up the liquid seeping from his side.

Maxius winced as she did this.

She reached up with her free hand and caressed his cheek with the back of her hand, her tail coming up and curling around his which lay sprawled out to the side.

His tail wrapped around hers as he winced in pain. Sweat covering his body.

She gently took the cool rag from his forehead and began to wipe the sweat from his neck and shoulders, a faint smile on her face from the wrapping of the tail. It told her he still felt something other than the pain in his side. "Maxius... you're gonna get through this.. Just relax." She cooed out into his ear, kissing his cheek softly.

He slowed down his breathing and relaxed his tail still wrapped around hers.

She smiled softly and curled her legs up and sat on them. She folded the rag up and placed it back on his forehead, reaching on hand up to wip eat the dried blood on her cheek.

Maxius flinched as some black energy dripped from his wound.

"Maxius.. You have to try to force the energy out."

Maxius winced then yelled as black energy oozed from his side.

Kitani gasped lightly and flinched back, her ears pressing against her head as she grabbed some of her sheet and put it under the wound, not wanting any of the energy opr blood to get onto her mattress. She placed her hand on his cheek and caressed under his eye softly. She leaned down to him and neared his ear. "Shh... Maxius..." She whispered, kissing his ear softly.

Maxius yelled again as more oozed from his wound, he was breathing heavily.

"Maxius." She cooed his name quietly into his ear, trying to comfort him a bit. "Shh.. you can do it."

Maxius clenched his fist trying to hold back his yelling as more oozed out. Aiden sat in his room listening to the yelling.

She kissed his lips softly in an attempt to quiet him down a bit, her eyes shutting a bit as she looked down at him.

Maxius settled down then relaxed and began breathing slowly.

Kitani let out a small sigh and pulled her lips away from his, placing her forehead against his chest and shutting her eyes. "I'm sorry you;re going through all of this...'"

Maxius smiled weakly. "Its.......n-not your fault......."

"I feel as though it is though." She whimpered out, running her fingers gently across his side.

Maxius looked at her. "Its ok......." He closed his eyes again.

"I wish your weren't hurt." She kissed his chest softly and sat up, looking down at him.

He smiled his eyes still closed. "I-Im not hurt......"

"Yes you are..." She sighed softly and pulled a cover up over his form, her ears slinking back against her head a bit more.

Maxius drifted to sleep.

She leaned down and kissed his lips softly once more before curling up next to him and shutting her eyes.

Maxius's tail wrapped around her.

She smiled softly and wrapped her tail around his waist, drifting off into a light slumber.

Aiden closed his eyes.

A few hours later

Kitani let out a low yawn and a slight whimper as she stretched out, her ears laying back against her head slightly. She pushed herself up and looked down at Maxius, leaning down a bit and kissing his cheek.

Aiden laid there looking at the ceiling.

"I'll be back, sweetheart." She said, taking the rag form his forehead and headin gout to the bathroom. Once she wet it and wrung it out a bit she came back into the room and folded the cloth up. She got back onto the bed and laid it across his head, running her fingers through his hair softly.

Maxius breathed slowly.

Kitani sighed softly and crossed her legs, rubbing her eyes with the back of her hands to clear some groggines from her eyes.

"Its weird to see my brother like this......" Aiden said looking at her in the door way.

Her ears perked up at the sound of Aiden's voice, her head turning so she could look at him. "I'm sorry that we could not protect you two... We are incompitant felines..." She said rather harshly about herself, her eyes shifting as she looked at the ground.

Aiden shook his head. "Its not your fault....."

She pat the bed beside her in a gesture for him to come sit down. "Aiden, is there no way to remove the energy without causing him such pain?"

Aiden stood there. "No...there isnt..."

Ears and head falling from that answer, Kitani turned back around to face Maxius and shut her eyes. "Oh.. .I see..."

"this isnt just any old dark energy......this is pure evil...." He watched her. "He will be fine...."

"He will hate me for letting it happen to him." She replied in a small and meager voice.

Aiden looked around the room. "No...he never hates anyone..."

"I'm sorry.. I sound pathetic.." She sighed and ran her fingers along Maxius' jawline.

Aiden shook his head. "No....not at all...." he leaned against the door frame.

"You know, Aiden. If this were you in the bed and not Maxius, I would be right at your side trying to nurse you back to health as well... I love you both, and I always wish to help my friends..."

He looked at her. "I dont need anyones love....please...." He yawned. "Im going for a walk....."

She let out a slight sigh and actually looked as if she got smaller where she sat, slightly hunching over from his words. "Please... Take someone with you, please..."

Aiden walked out side to glacial peaks

Maxius sat up slowly.

Kitani placed her hands on his shoulders and tried to lay him back down. "Maxxie, lay down.. Are you hungry or thirsty?"

Maxius layed back down, he was extremely pale.

"Maxxie..." She whimpered out quietly, pulling the covers back up his body a bit and running her hands across his shoulders.

Maxius smiled slightly looking at her.

She ran her fingers through his white hair and forced a small smile onto her face. "Do you want some water?"

"No...Im good" he smiled.

"Are you certain?" She asked as she leaned down and kissed his lips softly.

Maxius nodded. "Yeah...Im sure......"

"Then please, you must rest a bit."

He sat up. "Ive been resting."

She sighed and sat back, her eyes running down his body slowly. "I just don't know what I can do to help you.."

He smiled. "Youve been doing fine with what youve been doing....."

She smiled softly and ran a hand through her own hair. "You should drink something... You have been losing a bit of blood and you need the fluids."

Maxius smiled. "alright......"

"I'll be right back." She said softly, getting up from the bed once more and heading down to the kitchen. She got into the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water, a small frown on her face as she headed back down to the bedroom. She truly was worried about Maxius, but even mroe so Aiden since he was by himself outside. When she came back into the room she unscrewed the cap from the bottle and sat down beside Maxius, handing him the bottle of water.

Maxius took small sips from the bottle.

"Maxxie. Do you feel any better after some of the dark ernergy came out of you?" She asked, reaching over and running her fingers along his wound softly.

Maxius smiled after taking some sips. "Yeah...." He smiled.

"That's good. Perhaps in a few days it will all be gone." She said hoepfully, wiping her fingers on the sheets of the bed.

He layed back and looked at the ceiling. "hopefully............"

"I hope you get better soon, Maxxie." She said, laying down beside him and nuzzling her head into his side softly.

Maxius held her tightly. "Hey....kitani......"

"Yes? What is it?" She looked up at him and smiled faintly, her tail coming around and wrapping about his.

"Thanks for helping me..........." he smiled.

"You do not have to thank me for helping you, Maxius. I'm twenty percent sure you would've done the same for me."

He smiled and tried not to laugh. "I dont like that percent.......try one hundred next time......"

"Let's hope there is no next time anytime soon." She giggled a bit and gripped her hand gently into the cover that had slid down to his abs, a low purr coming form ehr throat.

"Hopefully not....." He smiled and looked at the ceiling.

"Buuuuut... Seeing as you and Aiden were being so persistantly hunted by that guy, I would say that most likely there will be more wounds to come."

Maxius looked down at her, his eyes scanning over her body. "True......"

"Hopefully more on me than on you two... Heh, I'll be the tank from now on. I'll start taking all of the hits and blows since you two seem to be stronger than me with attack." Kitani pointed out gently.

"We can also take more hits......" he smiled.

"Mhm. Look at that. You big wimp. It's only a bit of energy, suck it up." She said playfully, poking his stomach softly. "But seriously, I'd rather be stuck with the wounds then stuck with two injured companions who can hardly fight."

He looked at her. "Hey....dark energy....is pain full......and whos going to help us with our wounds......" he smiled.

"You won't have wounds if I take all the blows." She poked his nose and smiled cutely, her ears flicking a bit.

"I wont let you take any of the blows......." he smiled.

"Aw, how sweet. I didn't know you cared so much." Her ears drooped a as she blushed a bit, caressing his cheek softly with her thumb.

He smiled then softly kissed her hand.

She smiled smally and placed her hand against the side of his face, turning his head a bit and kissing his lips.

He kissed her back warmly, then smiled.

She purred quietly when the kiss was broken and took the bottle of water. She took a drink out of it and nuzzled against his chest.

"You hsve soft lips........." he smiled and closed his eyes, she was warm against his skin.

"Thank you. You know, Aiden's blood is kind of sour..." She chuckled quietly and licked her lips trying to see if she could still taste the blood of Aiden's on her lips.

He smiled. "I told you............"

"But it was good.. I think I have a blood fetish.." She said thoughtfully, biting her lower lip softly,

Maxius looked at her. "Blood fetish?"

"I have a strong liking for blood."

Maxius smiled. "I better watch out......."

"Oh, you know you want to be bitten by me." she purred out, leaning up a bit and nipping his nose.

Maxius smiled and shrugged. "Not now...I dont want you to take any of the dark energy as well....."

"I would if it helped you out." Kitani replied, rubbing the top of his head softly.

He smiled. "I wouldnt let you......"

"You wouldn't be able to stop me, love." She said purring a bit.

"Oh...really...." he smiled.

"Yes. Really." She giggled and leaned down to him, biting him in the shoulder.

Maxius smiled then pulled her close and bit her on the neck.

She let out a quiet gasp as slightly gripped his shoulders, looking up at him and smiling smally. "Most beasts who do that usually wind up with their face's shredded." She purred out, her tail wagging a bit before wrapping around his tail as she licked a few beads of blood from the bite mark.

He smiled at her licking her neck. "What makes me so
special...."

"Well, for one, you're my friend. Secondly, I really like you. Thirdly, how could I tear up such a lovely face?" She asked, reaching up and caressing his cheek with the back of her hand.

Maxius smiled. "Oh....lucky me..."

She giggled a bit and nuzzled into his strong chest, her ears laying back against her head and her tongue going over his nipple a few times as she licked dried blood from his chest.

He smiled at her.

She pushed herself up from his embrace and looked down at his side, a faint frown on her face but it soon leaving as she looked back up to his face. "I suppose I'd better start cleaning that a little more, hm?"

He smiled. "I can do it....." he sat up.

her ears sunk back a bit, after being perked up, as she placed her hands on his shoulders. "No, you're hurt.. I can clean your wound up... please?"

He smiled. "Alright......"

"Thank you!" She kissed his lips quickly and laid him back down. She reached back and grabbed another wipe from the first-aid kit along with a few alcohol wipes. She opened up one of the alcohol wipes and gently ran it over the wound, clearing up a lot of the blood and black gunk coming from the wound. She set that down ontop of the box and began to wipe at him with the larger disinfectant wipe, humming quietly as she cleaned the rest of the blood and black liquid from his side.

Maxius smiled and watched her.

"Heh. I would wrap you up, but I fear I would block the energy from coming out."

Maxius smiled. "I understand....thanks..."

"Perhaps some fresh air would do you good?" She questioned, sitting back on her legs and looking down at him.

Maxius stood up. "Ok......."

She smiled smally and stood up after him, grabbing the bottle of water and taking a drink of it. "Well, come on then..." She said, grabbing his arm and pulling it over her shoulders, nuzzling in close to his side.

He smiled at her. "I feel like an old man..."

"Oh really now? Why's that?" He blinked and looked up at him, smiling sweetly.

Maxius smiled. "I dont know....."

"Silly. Well, I bet Aiden is bored. There really is nothing to do around this village, 'cept mess with Jet.. But he is kind of-"

"What was that, Kitani?" Jet asked, looking up at the two and flattening his ears against his head.

"Nothing, Jet! Come on Maxxie." She giggled out, leading him out into glacial peaks.
