Miyabi looks up "Wait! stand there!" She points to him to stop. When he freezes she quickly draws his shape on the page that she's working on then closes it. "what's up Shiro?" she allows him to move again as she moves back to the bed getting agitated at being stuck with the stupid IV still.
Byakuya's Physicians walked in to check on her. After about two minutes of poking and proding they removed the IV and told her that she just needed to eat and take a viamine supliment they made specially for her. After they left Shiro sat on the bed and poked her in the stomach. "I told you that you weren't eatting right! Now since I was right I think it only fair that you let me escourt you to the festival tonight. I'm also going to be Riri-chans escourt so we can have alot of fun together!" Shiro actually sat and waited for her answer. He didn't know if she would be up to running around tonight.
"I would love to be out tonight but I don't know if I'm allowed to go out let alone do too much." She sighs. "If Byakuya found out that I left and didn't make sure it was okay with him he'd have my head!" She giggles. "If I am allowed would it be alright if Byakuya came out too?" She looks at Shiro hoping he'd say yes.
Byakuya enters silently. "You are an adult. You have been told you are fine now so you are free to go. I won't be joining you though, I have things to take care of."
Shiro nodded over to Byakuya "I understand Taicho-sama. I will make sure your little sakura here is well taken care of." Shiro patted Myabi's knee and smiled at Byakuya. Byakuya shot a look at shiro that pierced through Miyabi. He closed his eyes and left the room.
Miyabi watches Byakuya leave. "Shiro please stay here." She quicksteps after Byakuya and as soon as she catches up she calls "If you don't want me to go I won't. I thought that you might want to go out and relax and have fun at the festival.. But if you're too busy I guess I can understand.." She blushes and realizes her foolishness. She folds her hands behind her and watches her foot draw nervous circles upon the hall's shiny hard wood floors.
"Miyabi-san, I have no reason to lie about my intentions, I have business to take care of so I won't be attending the festivities. You will understand why later, now if you will excuse me." Byakuya kept walking and stoped to say one last thing to the girl. "I would actually have prefered to accompany you tonight." He continued walking off.
Miyabi blushes lightly as she smiled and watched him go.
'Cool.. He wanted to go with me..' She quick steps back to the room and wonders belatedly if he wanted her to come back to his house or if he wanted her to leave. She packs her things and writes a note for him placing it neatly folded upon the pillow after making the bed. '
My dear new friend Byakuya-kun, I was not able to thank you for letting me stay here while in the hall. I truely apreciate your hospitality. *hugs* I wish you had time to go to the festival with me. I bet we would have had alot of fun! ^.^v Peace my friend. I hope I shall see you around. Love, Miyabi' "Ok Shiro! I'll go!" She giggles as she glomped him. "Let's go. I want time to get ready." She smiles.
"Ok mimi-san, lets catch up with Riri-chin, I might steal her panties again, or better yet I might convince her to give me a pair with an autograph to make Taki go crazy!" Shiro laughed as the two left.
Taki turned to look at Shiori, and grinned weakly "You wanna go with Shiro, don't you?" She had seen the small smile, that disappeared quickly when she looked, on Shiori's face and her heart hurt. "Taki-san, I... If you wish for me, I will~" The taller shinigami female, stepped away from Shiori when she reached out a hand and looked away. "If you want to go, do so! I don't need your pity! Hav fun with Shiro, for all I care!" She turned and ran into her room, leaving a confused and a little hurt, Shiori behind.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the building, Khi smiled and cocked his head at Shinji, "You know that my men are well behaved, and what is this surprise I will need to prepare for? Something good? And as for the medical center, i just had a friendly appointment, however I may have a secret or two to admit to tonight." He looked Shinji up and down and cringed, "You are going to change, right Shinji-sama. Not that you don't look good! It's just that... you always wore such nice yukatas on this festival." He finished lamely. he bowed to Shinji and turned to walk to his room to get ready, "Oh and Shinji-sama?" gaining the attention he wanted from Shinji. "I better see you in the first row for Shi-chan's dancing."
Shinji called back to Khi, "Unfortunately i must disappoint everyone tonight. The surpise i have might cause a giant rucus. I Will be changed, and as for Shiori, she will have to understand that there is too much to do at the moment. I have no time to enjoy myself." Shinji went to his room and changed. He put his new soulslayer in its place and went off to the ceremony where Khi would return his position to him.
Khi sighed, but continued. "I understand Shinji-sama. It is why you deserve to be captain and not me." He changed in his room and returned to the main dining room, spying Shiori practicing in one corner and Taki in the other.
I wonder what happened... he shrugged and sat in a chair watching them dance, though making a lot more mistakes than they normally would.
Miyabi and shiro split up once they got to their building Miyabi took a quick bath and got dressed in her Kimono. It took her half an hour to do it because she had not worn a kimono is a long time. She smiles triumphantly at her image in the mirror. She went into her bed room to do her hair. She left it down but had to brush it out well. She grabbed a purse, her book, slid her book into the purse and awaited for Shiro to come to her door. Of course by now it has taken her over an hour to get ready.
"Oy, Mimi-san, you take too long, Riri-chin has been done for some time now. Where is Taki-san anywa, isn't she coming too?" Shiro stood around waiting for Taki or someone to answer him.
Miyabi snaps at him. "Well exscuse me for not wearing a tradtional Kimono in several years!" She closes her door with a snap behind her.
Shiro rolled his eyes. "Oh well, at least we get to see a public exicu... erm, trial! come on now lets get going!" Shiro Walked behind her hoping no one caught his slip.
Miyabi looks back at him briefly and shakes her head.
'As long as my new Kimono doesn't get splattered with blood... If it does heads will roll' She smiles and walks down the hallway trying not to trip.
The group walk out of the inner court to the outside wall. They walk through the gate and see shinigami walking around with spirits. This festival is a celebration started with the high comander before Takashi. It was to bring together everyone who survived the invasion of the arancar army. It was right before his death and made annual by Takashi to keep the memory of his comander alive. During the opening ceremony Byakuya, Takashi Khi and another short thin captain were on the stage talking amongst themselves. After the announcement of Takashi regaining his position as high comander and Byakuya sitting by watching Takashi took the stage. "Achem, First I would like to say that it is great to be back and in a position I find quite rewarding. I work with some of the best and brightest shinigami. Byakuya-Taicho
, Khi-Taicho, these are men that should be looked up to. These men here personify the ideals of a shinigami. They are loyal, strong, and have courage that is incomprehensible. What they aren't are traitor, weaklings who would sell out their commrads to gain power." Takashi looked up from his hat which was covering his eyes. "Now you may notice I have a new soul slayer. I am a new man. And so as a new man I wanted to bring up one of my captains to show that I am past the old mistrust, the back talk. We are here to work together and this man is a prome example of what I mean. Please Sazura-Taicho, of the 13th division, come up here." Takashi let the man take the stage and put his arm on his shoulder durring the applause. When everyone had stopped Takashi began his speach again. "As you can see from the slide show on either side of me, This man is a great warrior. He is a shinigami to be admired. But even the best and brightest flames can faulter, flicker and fade, and eventually burn out. Sometimes to save that flame gas is thrown on the fires. To be perfectly blunt as you can see from these pictures Sazura Taicho here has betrayed his division, his fellow captains and myself. He has sould himself as a soldier and mole for esparda. Now as the high comander I condemn him to death by execution. The method being..." Takashi seemed to flinch and appear in fron of the man with his Soul slayer drawn. "The method being, death by my hands!" The captains head fell off and he was dead. "Now..." Takashi cleaned his blade and resheathed it. "..It was researched and everything was conclusive, he was a traitor. His division will now be captained by Miyabi Taicho. Her vice captain will be Takashi Shiro." Takashi pulled his uniform in some key locatons and was dressed as if he were training again. "Now lets enjoy the rest of the night and have a blast." Shinji Takashi walked back to his office with Byakuya.
"Wow, pop, you took it a step too far you think?" Shiro giggled and was ready to leave to enjoy the festival. "Mimi-chan, don't you think that was a bit much?"
