You notice that the ground beneath your feet has been recently trampled by more than one person...or thing. The fog seems to be thickening the more you walk forward that even by wand light you cannot pierce. All you can go by is letting your feet fall along side the trampled path. Because of the fog you almost run into the trunk of a large fallen tree. You cannot see where the tracks lead to but they could have gone along the trunk of the tree or continued on the other side.
