Vampires

The Origin of the Vampire stems from age old conflicts with the newly arisen undead. A mutation among the diseased began to infect the Undead strains, a plague of the plague. Vampires are immune to most Undead powers of infection, but may inflict their own methods of control. It is this direct opposition to the will of the Liches that makes all vampires constant targets for the hunt of the Reavers. While vampire is the common term for the resistance to the infection, there are varieties of all the living races among it. Another deadly trait of these undead creatures is the ability to infect at will, rather than randomly with every touch. This has allowed the vampire to roam throughout the world without leaving a trail to them that is clearly undead. They are not without recognizable traits, but it differs from each race.

Vampires have distinct differences from their main race, though they retain the attributes of their living kin in addition to the powers obtained from the undead. In addition to their randomly gained powers, Vampires have the ability to grow in skill as demons do, with replacement of stealing the soul to drinking the blood of the victim. These damned creatures have many strengths, but a hefty weakness to other powers. By healing magically, vampires are instead injured and have all the traits of evil within their blood to make them vulnerable to holy powers.

(*Note: Nymphs, Giants, and Dragons cannot become vampiric races)

Their large noses for warming cold air have become adapted for sniffing and their pale complexions in the deep have led them to be unrivaled trackers in the depths for gems and precious metals. However, with no society to run upon, the Kobold are often subject to be called monsters as they scavenge mineral veins for resources to make armor.

Typically a rare sight, the vampiric form of Goblins is a rarity even to those of considerable worldliness. Gremlins are much like Vrykolakas, only that their kind has a tendency to swarm and band together. While they will hunt and kill other vampires, they will not kill others of their kind. Their goblin traits leads to some ingenius tactics, which can make their marches seem more like an army than a swarm. They harbor such hatred for their cousins and with the prophecy that they would one day rise from the hellish dungeon and conquer Minos, they are feared by the Taurens but are also challenged by them on occasion. Gallu rarely interact with other races, so they would not likely know how best to treat them and be considered rude. As Darklings, they obvious hate holy creatures and most especially races that consider themselves that way. Devilish, Bloodthirsty, and vengeful are three words that could adequately describe any Gallu, whether male or female.

Cyborg
(Cyborgs do not have a Name Database)

They appear very much like their Centran Masters, even though slightly damaged. Their purpose was interaction, translation, and performing tedious or boring tasks. They lived to serve, and do so to anyone who asks it of them but because of a terrible accident, Cyborgs harvest flesh from organic creatures in order to appear more like their masters. They generally always hunt for flesh because once they acquire it, the flesh begins to rot on their endoskeletal structure. Cyborgs were servants, they lived to serve. Due to some malfunction or damage within their positronic brains, Cyborgs have begun to violate the 3 laws of their masters in order to appear more like them...
1. An Android/Cyborg may not injure a living being (Centrans) or, through inaction, allow a living being (Centran) to come to harm.
2. An Android/Cyborg must obey orders given it by living beings (Centrans) except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. An Android/Cyborg must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
* Often appear as metallic skeletons with rotten flesh on their bodies.
* Cyborgs cannot infect or vamp like other vampires, but do gain some auras for their behavior.
* Most commonly found wandering about Centra, typically after battles where Automatons were not considered valuable.
- Race Bonus: 200% Strength Level, 150% Accuracy & Stamina Level, 0 Magic, 1 Faith.
