Triggered by something or someone at Carnegie Hall on Christmas Eve the parasite resurfaces in the body of the lead actress, Melissa Pearce during her debut performance. Due to Melissa's fragile state it is able to take complete control of her body, later mutating her into a being called "Mitochondria Eve". Eve's goal is to free the mitochondria once and for all. She is the main foe of Parasite Eve and comes to life in Day 1 of the game.
