Dragons of the Hourglass Mage review

Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman end the trilogy The Lost Chronicles to Dragons of the Hourglass Mage.
Chronologically the events of this book are situated mainly during the same time as the events of Dragons of the Spring Dawning. But this book tells the story untold, what happened behind the scenes, what happened to the mage Raistlin Majere after he chose to bear the black robe.

It would have been best to read the last book of the Chronicles just before this one to get back in touch with the events and the characters and motives behind some of their actions.
Though this book will work indepently, I still recommend to do so - at least you need to be familiar with the characters and the world.

This book gives another insight view to the character of Raistlin, which is rather interesting.

Though yet again, this book is for the readers who still want to return to the world of Krynn and learn more about the Heroes of the Lance.
