Kane sat on a rock and looked out to the water. "MAN!! ITS SO QUIET!!!!" He jumped up and ran around then sat down. "Ok....Im tired...."

Nearby a mermaid giggled as she spoke with a male water nymph

Kane blinked then spun quickly so he was laying on his stomach and looked around like a cat.

The pair spoke to one another in hushed tones

Kane looked over at the two and slowly crawled over to them.

The Nymph kissed the mermaid, she giggles and strokes his cheek

Kane jumped up and hauled over to the two, "HEY!!!!!"

The Nymph gasped and dove into the water the mermaid hissed and splashed Kane.

Kane got splashed by the water then hauled in the other direction. "NO!!!!"

Kane kept running and eventually ended up at foggy abyss.

Zan swam up to the shore and laid on the shore flipping his tail gently looking for anyone who might be there.

Near the lining of the shore, a rip suddenly appeared, and out peered a long-haired green creature. Glancing around with caution, of which was thrown in the wind at the sight of the waves crashing against the white sand, Emil rushed out of his portal and ran to the water, loving it here. Giggles escaped him, not noticing right away the other creature that resided here at Aqua Shores. Dark green tanktop graced torso, shoulders small as well as thin middle. A strap of cloth graced left forearm, a piece of chain hanging from it as an odd fashion that suited Emil perfectly. Barefoot, he crouched down, the black short shorts fitting him, revealing slightly protruding hips. Hair was up in a high ponytail, nails long as he stood crouching, waiting for the water to rush over his feet. He smiled when this occurred, enjoying himself.

Zan turned his body to look at the newcomer, his shirtless chest glistened with water, he smiled softly flipping his tail in the shallow water gently. "Well hello." Zan's voice was smoother than velvet

Squeaking out of surprise, the demon fell on bum into the water, blinking and looking at the merman. "N-nah..? Oh..." He went wide-eyed, never had he seen such a creature. "Hello..."

Zan flipped his tail gently and smiled, his soft blue eyes gazed at the demon as he leaned against a rock

Getting onto his hands and knees, he crawled to the rock that Zan now leaned against. Climbing on one side of it, he stared at him with interest. "What are you?"

"I'm a merman, my handsome stranger...." Zan said softly looking up at Emil

"I've never heard of them. And..." He blushed faintly at the remark. "That's a first. Usually I am called beautiful." He smiled.

"I can see why..." Zan arched his tail over himself smiling. "But you're so gorgeous that no one can make up their mind what to call you...words don't cut it..."

"No. I'm plain looking..." He said, glancing down at the waves. Emil knew he was entranced already, and it had only been a few words exchanged between them. "You live in this place?"

Yes I live here, and no you're not plain looking, a crab is plain looking, every crab looks the same, but no one looks like you, no one is as gorgeous as you, no one can surpass you..." Zan purred softly in an odd way.

"Aw, stop it. You're making me blush... what was your name..?" Emil asked, blinking once as the realization that he didn't even know the guy's name yet. "I'm Emil."

"My name is Zan..." Zan pulled himself to lay on his stomach in the sand and water, and flipped his tail slightly

"It's simple, yet a nice name." Emil commented, sitting on the rock still, staring down at the human hybrid.

My full name is long and hard to pronounce in english..." Zan closed his eyes and flipped his tail up slowly then back down

"Mmmm.. I see. My name is just Emil." Emil giggled, resisting the urge to pounce on that tail. He was kinda catlike in the way he was amused. Eyes stared at the tail though.

"You can touch it if you'd like, I'll let you..." Zan turned and laid his tail on the shore more and smiled

Not needing any more encouragement, Emil pounced on the tail with a high-pitched squeel of joy. Such an opposite of a true demon.. It was now known why he traveled and had no permanent home.

Zan smiled and wiggled a bit, the scales on his tail shining silver

Emil giggled and went to pounce again, but went too far and fell face forwards ontop of Zan. "Eeep.. sorry.." he muttered, blushing faintly.

Zan gave Emil the most gorgeous smile. "It's ok..." Zan ran his fingers through Emil's hair. "Such beautiful hair..."

"It's an ugly color though. Not pretty like yours... like the color of the water." Emil said, flinching slightly when his hair was touched, as it meant an arm was to be raised towards him. Such a skittish person he is... at times.

"My silly demon, the sea is not silver, your hair is beautiful..." Zan caressed his cheek with the back of his hand. "Fear not, I won't harm you..." Zan's tail caressed Emil's leg

Shivering slightly, Emil averted gaze for fear of getting lost in Zan's eyes. They were intoxicating to say the least. "Yes... but..." he began, starting to babble under breathe sentences of nonsense.

Zan chuckled gantly. "Yes but what my sweet?" Zan smiled it him, and blinked his sea blue eyes. "Are you cold?"

He shook his head at once. "No. I'm not cold. Demons don't get cold... that easily." Although, he shivered indicating he was partially lying. "Mmm... I was going to say that I can't help but flinch. I've been hit so many times..."

"My dear, I would never...ever hit you..." Zan caressed his cheek

Emil closed his eyes, enjoying the gentle carress of fingers against skin. "Do you mean that? You promise?"

"If I ever strike you, you can chop off my tail..." Zan kisses his cheek gently nuzzling him

Blushing faintly, Emil nodded slowly, one eye closing when he was kissed. "that would hurt."

"I would deserve it for hurting someone so handsome...." Zan stroked his cheek

Finally, unable to control himself, Emil leaned forward and kissed Zan on the lips, not caring if they had only met. He liked this merman. He was kind and gentle, so unlike the others he had met and liked.

Zan wrapped his arms around Emil gently kissing him back, his tongue touching Emil's lips

Parting lips slightly, granting access to sweet cavern that was his mouth to the silver-haired Zan. Emil's arms folded against his chest as he pressed against the other.

Zan licked Emil's tongue gently, Zan squirmed slightly, suddenly a leg wrapped around Emil's leg, it was slightly scaley but smooth

Startled, Emil pulled away, breaking kiss in the process. "Nah..?" He turned to see fins had become legs. "You can change your form?"

Zan smiled, he was now wearing shorts. "Do you like it?" He caressed Emil's cheek

"A useful ability." Emil replied, leaning down once again to kiss his new-found friend.

Zan kissed him back deeply wrapping his leg around Emil's gently pushing against him.

He gasped at the sensations such simple action caused. Emil let his arms wrap about zan's neck.

The sea's blue water washed ou on them as they entiwined theirselves in one another kissing each other and caressing each other gently. Zan kissed Emil's neck feather light

He shivered at the cold water washing over them, cuddling against Zan, pressing neck against his lips. It felt good.

Suddenly Zan yelped in pain, his legs fused back together there was a harpoon in his tail, he griped the sand in pain so not to trash and hurt Emil. "Run, Emil, Run...." Zan has pulled out from under Emil by a cloaked figure that was pulling the harpoon the letters on the cloak were NTZ.

Falling at once, he turned and stumbled to both feet. "Zan?!" he squeaked, staring around. Seeing the cloaked figure disappear, but saw the words. NTZ?

"Is he gone?" A mermaid popped up. "Is- Is the cloaked guy gone?"

Emil turned around, crouching down out of habit. "He took Zan away..." He whimpered.

"He would have been taken to the Neontopia Zoo That's where the guy was from." The mermaid said

"Thank you..." Emil said quickly, opening a portal at once and slipping into it, going to the Neontopia Zoo.

Zan returned with Emil panting softly, Zan fell face first in the sand in pain.

Falling down beside Zan, he saw the wounds and proceeded to lick away the blood.

Zan pulls Emil into his arms and holds him close to his chest.

"I know we just met and all, but... I got so angry when that man took you away from me. I wanted to kill them... so badly. I almost did..." Emil whimpered, burying face against his chest.

"It's ok we're back together...." Zan winced a bit

He saw the wincing and sat up, staring down at him. "You're in a lot of pain?" he asked, tracing circles in the middle of Zan's chest with an index finger.

"Yes...but when I get bck to the water I'll be fine..." Zan winced sitting up a bit. "Emil?" Zan stroked his cheek

Getting off of him, he sat on his knees on the side of Zan. "Yes?" he asked.

Zan sat up on his elbows and took Emil's face in his hands. "Thank you."

Blushing faintly, demon nodded. "You're.. welcome." He put a hand over one cupping his face, nuzzling into the soft skin of Zan's palm.

"I'm going in the water now...I won't leave I promise." Zan stood up wobbily and walked to the shore, he shifted back into his tail and sunk under the water, his wounds healing. After he was healed he resurfaced and laid half in the water half on shore. "Come here my gorgeous Demon."

He watched him in curious silence, amazed at how quickly the wounds inflicted upon zan's body had healed. Nodding, he got up and went to the beckoning merman.

Zan pulled Emil down to him gently and ran his fingers all over his body. "You're not hurt at all are you?" Zan nuzzled him

Emil shivered. "N-no.. I'm fine. I.... want to show you a special place that I found here." Demon whispered, breathe slightly ragged. "It's called Granite Cove. Have you heard of it?"

"No I haven't..." Zan shifted so he had legs and laid on the beach in a pair of shorts. He smiled. "Do you want to go?"

"Yes, please." He smiled and kissed Zan on the lips, a quick peck, before getting up and making another portal and sprinting through it. But first, shook his bum at Zan. "Catch me!" He giggled, leaping through the vortex.

Zan scrambled up and leapt through the vortex
