Chapter Two

The lakeside village was a beautiful place, with the lights shining onto the almost frozen lake. It seemed so much cooler by the lake, and in fact, the temperature had dropped by at least 20 degrees, being near the water. Ayumi immediately headed for the house she, Lee, and Aura hung out at. "Aura..if you would please do the honors of showing Link and Linh to an empty hut. I will go get dinner started."
Aura nodded. "Of course, Ayumi." She turned to look at Linh and Link. "Here in the village of Hyoukai, everyone is treated with respect and kindness. Everything is everyone's. We share anything and everything. Food, medicine, clothing. Whatever is need." She started walking towards an empty hut. "You two can stay here for the time being."
Link nodded in understanding and looked at Linh when Aura began walking off. "She seems nice enough, and so does this village."
Linh nodded."It's very peacful even more so than ordan"she said.
Ayumi walked into the house and immediately over to the fire, shivering some. She hadn't realized it would be this cold, but it wasn't the chilly air that bothered her.
Link smiled. "A bit more peaceful. I like it here. Just...the fact that the frost never thaws?"
"nothing is perfect i saposse."Linh said happily
Lee sighed."Why did we invite them here?"He asked.
Ayumi shrugged. "Aura's idea. She...is a weird one, I'll admit that."
Aura walked into the house. "We must get away from here..."
Link nodded and walked inside. There was a small ammount of firewood, just enough to start a fire, which he did so.
Linh walked in as well."Thanks for getting the fire going link."She sat on the bed and looked around.
Lee looked confused."what for?"He asked.
Aura sighed and looked at ayumi. "you sensed it, did you not? They're from Hyrule..."
Ayumi nodded. "Yeah...then they'd probably know who you are, wouldn't they, Princess?"
Aura...err, Zelda, sighed. "I don't want to stay around long enough to find out."
Link smiled. "No problem, but I'm going out to get more, okay?"
"Alright. if I fall alseep before you get back blame the bed!"Linh said happily.
Lee sighed and nodded.
"Aura...Are you sure about this?" Ayumi looked somewhat questioning.
"Yes, I'm sure. I don't want to go back to Hyrule..."
Link laughed and walked back out into the night. Well, apparently it was always night here. Startica, he had overheard from villagers, meant the Land of Stars. He walked to the forest and gathered more wood.
"Link!Link!Hay link! Listen!"Navi said."i have something to tell you!"
Link had chosen to ignore her at first, but this time, he sighed. "What is it, Navi?" He asked, almost exhausted like. he was taking his time getting back to the village.
"Shouldn't you be out looking for zelda?!"Navi said rudely.
"What about Zelda?" Link said somewhat sleepily this time. He really didn't care at this particular time.
"she went missing link!"Navi said angirly"Isn't that why your and linh came here?"
"Not exactly." Link glared at the fairy. "I don't even KNOW how we got here in the first place! One minute, we're walking in Faron woods, the next we're in a Sakura forest!"
"Your kidding me right?"she said in her annoying high picthed voice.
"No. I am not kidding you. When did Zelda go missing?" He sighed, knowing Linh would hate this.
"A few days ago!"Navi said."didn't the kind notify you?!"
"Apparently not, if I didn't know about it..." Link mumbled rudely.
Navi sighed angrily."Are you going to try to find her?" she asked.
Link was walking back to the village. "I don't know yet."
Linh looked around the room and sighed."He should be back soon." She said.
He looked at the fairy. "Care to tell me where we are anyways? I mean, I've heard this is the Realm of Ice...WHERE is it?" He walked towards the hut.
Ayumi sighed, giving up on trying to talk Zelda into going back to her land of Hyrule. She looked at Lee in some form of desperation, showing this would be a difficult task to do.
Lee sighed."Just lets go.."He said.
Navi looked about."Hyrule is beyound the moutins! Thus this land is aswell?" Navi said.
Linh laid back down on the bed.
Link walked into the hut, still talking to Navi. "But I've never seen it before, no matter how many times I've been over those mountains, this place was never there..."
Zelda walked towards a room. "I'm going to sleep..."
Ayumi sighed, and then nodded. "Okay..." She turned her gaze back to Lee.
Lee blushed and waved.
Linh sighed."what are you doing here navi?!" She asked the fairy rudely in turn navi said."None of you bisenuss!"
Link sighed and looked at Linh. "She says Zelda's gone missing..."
Ayumi shyly waved back and then looked into the fire.
"Damnit again!" Linh said."Why do you have a problem with that?" Navi asked rudely.
"Enough of the arguing..." Link sighed and sat down on the bed next to Linh.
Ayumi sighed lightly. "Winter's coming too soon..."
"Fine.."Linh said."good night link!" she huged him tightly and then laid down on the bed.
"Yeah i know." Lee said."It's going to be really cold!"
Ayumi looked at the fire, looked out the window and stared for a bit before looking at Lee. "Not only that...I have a bad feeling. The frost is already here, it's here much too early. Something's disturbed the nature around here...."
Link laid next to her, snuggling. "Good night, Linh. Navi, we'll talk more about this tomorrow..."
"those people!" Lee said.
Linh kissed him and went to sleep.
Link, too, fell asleep.
Ayumi sighed. "I wouldn't doubt it..."
"But it may also be zelda." Lee said,.
