Chapter Six

Zelda was getting concerned with Ayumi, afraid she was going to freeze to death. Nonetheless, they kept walking.
Ayumi shielded her eyes from the blizzard-like snow. "Where...?"
Link sighed and walked out of the hut, seeing the group. As fast as he can, he walked over to them.
"you and your girlfriend are cuasing to much troble!" Lee said angrily.
"We know that and trust us we will stop them."
"Oh I'll see to that my self!" Lee started to walk twords the hut linh was in.
Ayumi grabbed his arm. "Lee! No! This isn't goign to help anything to resolve things while you're angry!" her voice almost sounded pleading.
Link looked at 'Aura'. "So..."
She sighed. "No, Link. Not here. This is no place..."
There was a sudden dark shadow above the group. Suddenly, a dragon swooped down and picked up Zelda, flying up towards the sky.
ayumi stared in wonder, now visions of the legend flashing through her head.
Lee looked upward."Damnit it took aura!" He said angrily. "Get out here you two!" He yelled to linh and midna. Linh came out sadly her face was pale and she was shaking like crazy.
Midna floated out, her face in a huge grin. But that quickly faded. She became surrounded in ice as Ayumi glared at her. "Damn you, you twilight insect! I thought I could trust you!!!"
Midna struggled and finally broke the ice. "I wasn't in this alone..." Her eyes narrowed slightly.
Link sighed and looked at Lee. "What is your problem?"
Linh sighed.A dark figured appered behind her."Hello link!" He said happily. Dark link smiled evily.
Navi gasped.
"who are you?"lee asked looking confused.
Link drew the master sword. "Get away from her!"
Midna tilted her head to the side. "Ooooh...I'm liking this..."
Ayumi grabbed onto Lee's arm, taking a step behind him.
"No I don't think i will." Dark link huged linh tightly."come linh lets play."
Linh said nothing.
Link started walking towards Linh and the Dark Link. "Let her go..."
midna let out a shrill laughter. "While you two are busy...I'm going to make Hyrule Twilight!!!"
Ayumi swayed slightly, her grip growing loose on Lee's arm. She suddenly fell over into the snow.
"Ayumi!" Lee kneeled down and picked her up."Ayumi wake up!" He said.
Dark link smiled and huged linh tighter."she's mine now link!" He said."Do as you please midna."
Linh looked at link sadly.
Link turned away. "Navi!"
Midna laughed wildly. "You mean that, oh shadowed one?"
Ayumi looked up at Lee. "What has happened to our beautiful world?" She whispered.
"Yes link?" Navi asked.
Dark link smiled."yes i do." He said to midna. Her kissed linhs neck slightly. shivers went down her spine.
"They took it from us." Lee said.
Ayumi slowly stood up. "They won't keep it..."
Link looked up at the fairy. "We're stuck here. We have to rescue the Princess...."
Ayumi looked at Link immediately. "Link...Hyrule is your home. Save that first. The Twilight shall no longer be allowed to wander freely..." SHe glared at midna, who was enjoying herself, before looking back at Link. "I will work on saving Zelda..."
Link looked at her. "So it's true...Aura really is Zelda..."
"Yes..." Ayumi sighed. "Protect Hyrule..."
"Yes go protect hyrule while i play with little linh!" Dark link said evily.
lee sighed." come on lets go find zelda!" He said to ayumi.
Link looked at the two of them. "Why are you willing to help?"
Ayumi looked at him, her eyes blue again. "I can trust you..You've helped Zelda over many ages of keeping our kingdom hidden, now...with the king destroyed and Zelda here, our country is exposed...The twilight could sink here as well. Please, Link...."
Link looked at the sky, the snow slowing down for the first time in ages. "I see...I shall help, then. I will try to protect Hyrule...Even..."
"You'll...become a wolf again..."
Midna let out a cough. "Excuse me, but remember...the only way you can re-enter the twilight is to have help from someone OF The twilight...and I don't think the Three of us are willing to help!" She disappeared with Linh and Dark Link.
"I'm sorry link."Linh said sadly before she dissapered.
lee sighed."I knew she was trouble i should of killed her when i got the chance!"
Ayumi smacked Lee sternly but softly to keep him from saying something hurtful.
Link sighed and dropped down to his knees in the snow. "I...couldn't see somethign was wrong. She..."
"Link...I'll help you. I'm not sure how much can be done, but we need to at least get Zelda back..." Ayumi was speaking gently.
Link nodded.
Lee sighed."We will worry about them later!"He said.
Navi sighed.
Link looked at Navi. "Sorry, Navi...I just hope everyone of Hyrule will be okay..." He looked off towards the mountains.
Ayumi looked up towards the sky. "That dragon...will die..."
Lee smiled."I can't wait to help you kill it!" He said.
Navi looked twords hyrule" I- I don't think linh ment any harm.
"She's changed. Ever since Midna first took over...well, once she tried to rgain control of her realm from when Zant took over..." Link sighed slightly and stood up.
Ayumi nodded. "Let's go talk to my father, again. I"m sure...he'll know something."
"Your probabaly right"Lee said.
Navi sighed and followed lee and ayumi.
ayumi walked back to her father's hut.
Ryu looked surprised at the company. "Twilight creatures were here?" He knew how to read Ayumi's eyes. She nodded. "It is just as I fear," He replied sadly. "The legend...it is coming true again."
Lee and navi sighed heavily.
Link looked at him. "Legend..?"
Ayumi recited it from memory, then sighed. "Father, the dragon has a princess...."
"Not the destined one, Ayumi...He merely kidnapped a girl from the realm. He took her high into the heavens. Things will come clear to you with time. Hyrule is being over-run with the Twilight now, is it not?"
Navi sighed and nodded.
Lee looked at link."You and navi should to to hyrule we will get zelda!"
"It's not possible! They Can't get into the Twilight without help from someone OF The twilight!"
"Ayumi, do not forget..." Ryu looked towards the forest. "Take him there...and send him home."
Ayumi blinked. "I did..forget..." She looked at Link. "can..you handle the twilight again? I think...I can make it to where you won't be a wolf..."
Link nodded. "I think I can..."
Lee smiled."Good!" He said happily.
"what about me?" Navi asked.
"you'll automatically be transported with Link..." Ayumi stood up and walked out, starting in the direction of the forest.
Link hesitantly followed her.
Navi sighed and followed.
Ayumi turned to look at Lee while opening the door. "I'll come back for you, Okay?" She quickly walked outside.
Link followed her out the door, and was silent the whole way to the forest.
Navi followed link and ayumi.
meanwhile were linh, dark link, and midna where...
Linh sighed hevily and looked out the small window.
Midna was floating around, now being in possession of Hyrule Castle was great. She was still in her small form, as it was more convinient for travelling around.
-elsewhere-
Ayumi took link to an old Altar. She explained things to him, and sighed lightly, chanting a spell that would send him into the twilight zone of Hyrule. She wished him luck as he disappeared and returned to her house.
navi dissapered with him.
Ayumi walked back to the hut, looking at Ryu and Lee. "What else needs to be done before we leave?"
Link reappeared in Ordon Village, people looking like spirits, again. He had a charm around his neck. Link, this charm will protect you from becoming a wolf. You will still have the wolf's enhanced senses, but you will be in person form. Also, this will be my way of communicating with you... Ayumi's voice died out.
Midna stopped floating and looked around. "Ehh...something's strange..."
"Come on link lets hurry!" Navi said.
"Were so?"Linh asked.
"We will take care of it.Well if it's a threat."Dark link said evily.
Midna concentrated on the window. "Well...It's in Ordon...but...I can't tell what it is..."
Link looked at Navi. "Okay..."

Ayumi put the necklace she was wearing down inside her dress so no one would see it. She then looked at Lee. "Ready?"
Lee nodded. Yup!
-hyrule-
"I will go check it out" Linh said simply. Dark link smiled."don't take to long!"
Mida sighed. "Save your personal lives for yourselves!" She snapped.
Link continued to walk through the village. Ayumi's voice had been right. He could see things that he would've only been able to see in wolf form.

Ayumi nodded, gathered a few things into a backpack like thing, and walked over to the door. "Let's go."
Lee smiled and packed some stuff of his own.
-hyrule-
Linh smiled."Yes oh mighty one!" she joked.She dissapered into a dark shadow.
Midna watched her disappear. "Heh..."
Link sighed, walking through the village. He called for epona, who came to his call, luckily.

Ayumi walked out of the house after bidding her father good-bye, and took Lee's hand. This was the start of their own adventure.
