I've been drawing since I was 5 years old, and have always had an interest in fantasy and science fiction. I grew up on the Star Wars movies and Battlestar Galactica. I've also always had an interest in military history, particularly in the history of military aviation. 
   My favorite authors, at the moment, are Tolkien, Robert Jordan, George RR Martin, John Ringo, Bernard Cornwell, and Jeff Sharra. Artists I've been impressed with lately are Paul Bonner, Todd Lockwood, and Samwise Didier.
   I've also been an avid fan of Heavy metal music since the mid-80's, and my tastes run more toward progressive power metal than the grunge, alternative, industrial metal that predominates now.
