Around an Amber Sky


Awaiting a moment to take a chance,
Ignore the chats, rumors and rants.
It’s come, it’s time, would you care to dance?

One step, two step, three step, four,
A twirl, a spin, and out the door.
It’s new, it’s exciting, it makes my soul soar!

Out across the lighted golden sand.
Quieter, softer, and away from the band.
We’ll dance across this mystical land!

Around and Around an Amber Sky,
Oh how the time ticks straight on by.
We’ll dance, in our trance, to my…

Not my, but our, our dance to last,
Don’t let this time go by so fast.
The time it’s flown and our song has passed.

The one dance took us far to this place,
To this curious, quiet, wonderous space.
And now here we are, simply face to face.

The sun it shines it makes our Amber Sky.
Amber the color from sky to your eye.
A flare of your soul to shine to those who pass by!

But I didn’t pass by, I took the chance.
And just for this little romance.
A mystical memory of our wonderous dance.

You are my sky, my Amber lit sight.
This feeling you know, it’s really so right.
To be yours, forever, and not just tonight.

Dancing and twirling one after another.
Why did I even really bother?
To say it was a chance, was there some other?

Nope, simply you and that’s what I see.
For forever, we’re together, and that’s what we’ll be.

Free Flowing Dance


Can’t a Dance just last and last?
Does a Dance just have to be on the floor?

Well we’ll be free flowing, tip-toeing.
Across sandy beaches and green grass.
These are the places I care to Dance.

Not along that hard dance floor,
   But
In meadows and beaches with no cares in the world.

The land will shape our dance
And the sky the mood to last.

Barefoot, Left Foot, Right Foot…
When dancing in natures there are no:
   Rules
        Boundaries
               Audiences
                       Just You and Me.

So pair up take the one, have some fun.

Well we’ll be free flowing, tip-toeing.
Across sandy beaches and green grass.
These are the places I care to Dance.

No stopping, keep going now end; start falling.
Lay there on the Earth, but our
     Dance well continue it’s verse.

Dreaming together, dreaming of Dancing.
We’ll never stop; our dreams keep going.

Returning True Moments


For every passing moment there be,
One, two, or maybe three.
Chances to spend a minute with you,
And let ever moment ever be true.

It's gone now every moment of truth,
And here it is, here is the proof.
We're lost apart and never returning,
Oh the horrible things I am learning.

Learning of the do's and don'ts,
Learning for this is that first time through,
And every moment was ever so true.

Now with my faults my mistakes I take,
The moments that were, nothing but fake.
So that's what's passed, that is what's said,
Can't it be another, maybe something else instead?

And now here I look back on our past.
The moments, oh how they will last.
But every moment, if I could only redo.
I spend a moment, or maybe two.

Just being yours forever and more,
Cuddling and snuggling there on the floor.
Taking that extra last kiss,
Experiencing one more moment of pure bliss..........

Never returning, what a harsh word that is,
So I will put hope she'll say "I am his."
Just one day you'll change your mind.
Just come looking, and I'll tell you what you'll find.

I'm yours forever, as time ticks by.
I will be here and ask you a last time.
Oh you, my love... will you please be mine?
