We think it is a moral imperative that you meet [Elisha Kelly]! She is a 26 years old full time mum, who is, in her own words, a "lazy bum" during her spare time, living in Australia!

To [Elisha Kelly], fantasy is a whole new and exciting world to escape to (or more appropriately, to escape the real world to!) With the everyday stresses of mundane life, fantasy is "also an outlet for me... especially with my art... my brain seems to always be going a million miles a minute..."


Elfwood is definitely the cause for [Elisha Kelly]'s presence in Elftown! She was wandering around Elfwood, when she started "thinking... dude why don't I join up! but I never did 'cause I was still only working in traditional mediums then, and most were way too big to scan, so I just kept poking around and stumbled upon Elftown."

Not really... I do hang out at the Black Arrow Tavern a great deal, or used to before life got so hectic, but now I mainly like to visit friends, and browse around looking for interesting things.

I love Elftown, it's a great place to meet new people etc. It's a community and as such there is a great diversity of people who come here.

Message to all Elftowners?
Just be yourselves I guess, and always do what you feel right. I guess I just feel it is important to try and remain positive, even when you are down, you have to remember that things change, things happen that will knock you on your a$$, you just have to get back up again and push on, things will get better, they always do :D
Oh and kiddies don't litter, be nice to your mothers, and don't give up on your dreams (just revise them a little) :P

We'd very much like you to meet [NOOOPE] - yes the exclamation mark is necessary ;).
[NOOOPE]is from Maine where she spends most of her time drawing and being ambushed by children, or as some call it: babysitting.
She's 18 years old.

Fantasy is [NOOOPE]'s way to escape reality, which can be boring sometimes. In her own words: Fantasy, scifi, ancient history it puts humans (or humanoids) in situations and places that are so different and interesting, it's the ultimate freedom.
She enjoys writing and drawing about it but is not a big fan of the, often cliché, fantasy novel. Why stick with elves when there are so many other fantastic creatures to write about?

She believes Elfwood is to blame for her presence in Elftown. While she's here she likes to participate in various contests and role plays, show her art to other Elftowners and stalk her favourite artists. She also takes pleasure in making fun of emo's and creating wiki's which either hurt people's brains or make them more awesome.

Also see, So You Wanna Make an Emo House? to understand why I point and laugh at you and How awesome is your Elftown house? to see what I dislike about what seems to be the majority of Elftown houses nowadays. YUCK. But really folks, I love this place. My friends here have become like a family, my Elftown house a true home in its own right. Sure I've had many ups and downs, but I feel truly accepted here. I'm surrounded by other creative people who understand me, something I don't get a lot of in the real world. I am so grateful this place exists and a giant kudos to everyone who keeps it up and running. Though I have my pet peeves, I can't imagine not visiting this place at least 40 times a week. Yes. I need a life. Duly noted.

Message to all Elftowners?
Contribute. Make contests, write stories, make art, make role plays, be an active member. Enrich this place with your originality, creativity and imagination (originality mean lay off the fanart, people). Pump awesomeness into the veins of this place. And please encourage other writers, rp-ers, artists and fantasy enthusiasts here. Let's take Elftown back! WOORT!

Let's see who do we have here… Apparently, we have an 18 years old student from Flisa, Norway who plays in a band that he refuses to classify, is president of an RPG club and has met his girlfriend here in ET (maybe even in the same spot where you are right now). Seems like an interesting person to know a little better. Let's give him some spotlight in the Mainstreet.
Since we all have a soft spot for a love story, let's start with that (the love story, not the soft spot): our hero commented on [Ferah]'s art (which is really great, by the way. You should check it) and they both started talking. Time passed and [Joakim]'s band won a competition that took them to Trondheim, where she lives (which proves two things: that having a band pays off, even if you don't make money and that this particular band must be good, even if we haven't been able to listen to it yet). They met, had tea and the rest, as they say, it's history. History that can be read in more detail in the full interview. 
And let's say something about the band! The name is Fastback, they've been playing together for 2 years now, have a website (http://www.myspace.com/fastbackflisa) and they are going to studio. Then we'll be able to listen to it a lot better, with good sound quality and all that.

EDIT: [Joakim] and [Ferah] just had their first anniversary. Congratulations to them!
