My opinion on...
...Life in general: You should live every day as though it were your last. You can never really be certain when it isn't.
...God: I acknowledge that he's there, but I don't worship him. I don't pray to him. I'm not a massively religious person as it is.
...Religion: Everyone who has there own personal religion, that's great. You know, good for you, glad you have a faith. As for me, don't try to convert me; I've never been really religious, and I would appreciate it if you didn't look down on me for my decision.
...Suicide: I'm not going to say that people shouldn't commit suicide or be suicidal, because that would make me a hipocrite. I've been suicidal. And it's hurt people. I wouldn't call it a solution, but others have different ideas.
...Significant age difference in a relationship: Age is nothing but a number.
...Love at first sight: Of course. While it may not be complete love, it is still love on some level.
...Soul mates: Everyone is meant to have someone. Everyone has that searching soul. Not everyone finds the one they're looking for. But they know by instinct that the one they seek is out there.
...Sex before marraige: I think it's perfectly fine to have sex before marriage. I don't know about having sex with every person you think is mildly attractive, but if it's someone you love, and both partners know it's the right time, then marriage doesn't have to come before it.
...Abortion: I don't like the idea of it. Whether that baby is fully grown or not, it's still a person. But, if the life of the mother is in danger, then what's safest must be done.
...Psychics: I've never had much faith in psychics. They seem kinda' fake to me.
...Aliens: I won't deny the possibility that they're there, but I don't particularly enjoy spending countless hours outside staring up at the sky looking for some strange lights that might merely be attatched to an airplane.
...Ghosts: I believe in them... I think I've got one living in the attic, actually. Not quite sure.
...Death penalty: In the words of Ron White: "If you kill somebody, we will kill you back."
...Animal rights: Of course animals have rights! They are, after all, people. Some swim and have scales, some walk on all fours and are covered in fur. There's not much of a difference.
...Cannibalism
...Drugs and alcohol: Not the best (or safest) method of enjoyment, but it's there nonetheless.
...Gay marraiges: Love knows no race, religion, age, or gender. Love is for everyone, and those in love are entitled to marriage. Love has no limits, and neither should marriage.

Update on Deidwa's life so far:
Deidwa' will be away for a while because her evil mommy has taken away her internet. If she's seen on here, it is either her boyfriend Jake ([Ironballs "the Preposterous One"]) or she's gotten a reprieve and is allowed on.
Any of those who actually care about this should know that she will (eventually) gain internet access.

You woke Jake up this morning. You hadn't meant to, but he said it was okay. *Smile* You told him about your dreams that you had last night (that you would rather not talk about again), and he made you feel better (like always). *Uh.. another smile* You were at the bus stop, waiting for your bus.
"Where are you?"
"I'm out, waiting for my bus to come."
*Cars pass by*
"Er.. I'm, uh... Queen of the, uh.. Bus Stop."
"And, and... you're Queen of... my heart."
Now if that doesn't make someone melt, you don't know what does! *Yet another smile (but this one's huge)* It was just TOO DAMN ADORABLE! It made you feel all warm inside, despite the 40 degree weather.

You found out that Jake can't come to stay for a week, but at least your mom is letting him come up for a few days.
Here's the deal:
Jake's family'll come up here, then go to Portland, and spend some time with his aunt and uncle. Then, Thursday afternoon (the 30th), hopefully in the afternoon, he'll come down to Eugene on Amtrak. From Thursday until Saturday night (or maybe even Sunday morning! ^___^), he'll be with you. You'll be with him on New Year's Eve.. just like you'd hoped... *Happy sigh*
The only thing that could get in the way is whether or not his dad gets time off, and how the weather is coming up here. But it hasn't been too bad, so you've got your hopes high. True, you may not have the amount of time you wish you did, but at least you get some with him at all. It'll be like Memorial Day weekend! Except.. the whole swimming thing, and Jake meeting your dad... *shudder* You don't wanna' go through that again. And you'll be able to be with him again.. You'll be able to hold him again, and he, you... *Yet another happy sigh*
