A dark change is slowly swirling across the cold earth. It is seeping through my skin and its writhing emptiness flows within my very blood. The chill of its passage is tangible. The very air is dense with it. The darkness is coming. Can you taste the silence? It brings rest upon a weary creature like myself. But rest shall not come. This is but the calm before a vast, all-consuming storm. A war shall be waged as the circle completes a stage of its endless dance. The demons shall silently stalk their unforgiven prey and the screams of their victims shall go unheard in the ears of the suffering. Bleeding from invisible wounds the warriors shall battle for their sanity. Only the winds shall answer their heartfelt cries, as they bleed out their souls to the darkness.
Can you taste the silence?
And time does not make sense
Through the eyes of one who has no time
I’ve given it to you,
And everything else
It’s yours
I’m yours
Unwillingly
I’d give you everything but me
Yet I remain yours,
And you don’t even know it.
Hear the winds a whispering
'neath the emrald trees.
As the sun shines down
upon your pale face
and the roses bloom at your feet,
know that I love you,
even as you walk away.
Something I wrote for someone very dear to me... though he is no longer here...
crappy old poem I did...
What do I do now?
This silence has descended like a dark veil
Over silent screams tempered from pain
And after the overwhelming noise
The silence is so incredibly loud
No turning ‘round
No turning back
The will to walk forward is weak
Though it seems impossible to stop
Stop moving
The dam will hold the water
Till the water grows
When it breaks the flood will drown me
And the water will keep coming
If only it were left hollow
With no water
With no pain
Can’t breathe
The pain is suffocating
Led by false hopes
That were always out of reach
To a land of horrors
Nothing is ever what it seems
How did I get here?
I don’t know which way to go
And if time tells the answer,
I’m not sure I want to know
There is no way out of here
It never ends…
