Finally!

Google has finally extended their campaign to get people to download Firefox to Non-USA publishers: http://www.elfpack.com/_firefoxad

So now I hope that a lot of non-firefox users downloads it, and tries it out. Elftown will be much better with Firefox! ;-)

Getting big...

I re-started my bodybuilding training today. I know why I stopped running, but I really don't know why I stopped lifting weights. I like it, and it's a very nice break when I sit at the computer. I just trained less and less without any reason.

Hopefully it will make me feel better and maybe I'll start looking scarier to the annoying kids on Elftown ;-)

But: No, it's not that serious. I'll start slow and then take it easy...

Yet another AOL-moron...

So I got even more problem from AOL-idiots now. The good thing about it, is that I got some encouragement to get rid of the problem once and for all. When I'm done, everyone from a moron-dense network will have to apply to enter Elftown. So no more empty presentations or other crap from there!

There will be a lot of work for the guards to handle the applications, but I think that it will be far less problems than these annoying kids cause now.

It's a lot of things I have to program though, and I only got started today.

Now I have the entire apartment for myself. It will be a little empty. But well... Now is a good time to come and visit me! ;-)

Why is Dutch so easy?

If I try to speak German, I'll mix it up with Russian. And if I try to speak Russian, I mix it up with German. If I speak English, I do it with a big Swedish accent.

But if I mix English and German and speak it with a heavy Swedish accent, it becomes Dutch regardless if I want it to be or not... ;-)

All alone...

My roomie is moving out the 1st of October. Then I don't know what Lilo and I will do with this big apartment all for ourselves.

I've heard some things about a moving-in-party that I have to have... I don't know about that though.

Surprise

I did as I should with the Internet, plugged it in, and then... Here is the really strange part: It worked without any problems!

I don't know if I'll ever recover from this shock.

Moving-time!

I just got the key to my new apartment. I've started to move some things, but will take a break for sleep now.

I'll might have a problem to set up the computer and Internet at the new apartment, so I might be away for a while.

Krill moving

I managed to move Krill, the computer running www.elfpack.com www.cathug.com www.linkmeet.com www.musmakers.com www.writersco.com www.xnetz.com and many more, to Norrköping without any problems.

I've also been cleaning the last of my apartment. The computer-room was a mess, even if it was half-cleaned. But now it almost looks like a furniture-shop... Well, except that there still is some junk here and there.

Now I'll start to run berserk on the bathroom (again).

Tomorrow I'll get a new roomie. That will be interesting.

Stuff

After two weeks, I've finally finished moving Lilith. I've been cleaning my apartment every day the last weeks. There are just some stuff left to fix in the computer-room and the bathroom demands a second attack.

After all the carrying and cleaning, it has been pretty hard to get energy to work with Elftown and the other sites. And I'm watching a lot from the track and field championship. Always great fun to see Yelena Isinbayeva (Елена Исинбаева). She's pretty good at jumping (Well, that's Brittish ;-)), but the most fun thing is to see that she's always getting so happy after every jump, sometimes even after a faulty one.

That is so not like me, because I'm more the sullen type, and if I'm happy, I'm not screaming it out. But we both like red wine and if she's coming by, I'll make sure to have some for her.

Then on Monday I will move [krill] to Norrköping (the neighbouring town, less than an hour away) because the Internet-connection in my new apartment can't stand the load from Elfpack.

And on Tuesday, I'll get a new roomie. Her name is Neringa and she comes from Lithuania. Pretty scary, because I almost not know her, eventhough she seems very nice. Nice to get some company for me and Lilo so that we don't have to sit and talk to each other all the time. It's pretty hard to work from home, unless you have a plan for how to meet people.

And then I have some tax and administration-work to do.
