Makes me start to think why I do what I do. The idea is to connect people that wouldn't have met otherwise. But not only that; I also want to create a place that is more just, sane and fun than the rest of the world. Maybe not turning the rest of the world into Elftown, but making the rest of the world improve in Elftown's direction (well, except the crashes...) . The dream that my users can empower themselves thanks to the connections they have found here. If there are totally different ways to connect us, I hope to get to that too. If I just could build maglev-trains in vacuum tunnels, that would surely be my favourite thing to do.

So... I guess I should get going before I die of cancer or more likely in some alcohol related problem. But Ozzy is still alive (Sort of) so...

I've going to a huge party tonight. For once it actually doesn't mean that I have to drink. I'll work in a bar and even if it's hard and unpaid work, it will be fun and we'll get food and a thank you party for it.

I find that very interesting. It's nothing new, but I like the depth of the stories.

I've been trying to do the same philosophy then developing Elftown, but I simply can't have unreachable standard for graphics and I refuse to spend more time on making the CSS perfect as it hurts my stomach, brain and I don't know what. I also want to make experimental crap that a few people can use, and if it actually becomes good, I'll improve it. The wiki is one such success, and I keep building on that (in a similar way as MacOS X in build on Unix, I'll plan to build better galleries and functions to sort things like reviews).

But I would really like a team of young developers that are willing to work 90-hour weeks... Send money! I think $20 000 000 USD would be enough for now.

I've been a little absent minded lately. Lilo is in heat and the neighbours are complaining. I've tried to make her more quiet by taking long walks with her in the nights, and I just came back from a 50 minute walk. She goes and pees on every corner and bush, almost like a dog.

We finally met a tomcat tonight, but he was obviously fixed (or extremely stupid) and wasn't interested. Now she's eating like a dog too...

Update: There are 7 people per month who search for that and click on Elftown. 14 who search for "Fantasy wiki". "fantasy creatures list" has been used by 71 visitors though. Some might come from Elftown though.
