At about 16:00 Swedish time on the 24th of December, we hand out Christmas presents. So on 10:00 o'clock New York time on the 24th, we already get our presents. Think about that, you belated Americans!

The short story:
If you give people bonuses they do better at tasks that are about simple things. But they do way worse on tasks that demands thinking outside of the box. Basically: The more you will get rewarded for making a new discovery, the more unlikely you are to do it.

Not really interesting, but fun to watch despite that it's very serious. I'm not sure how much of it a religious person could stand though.
Atheism has the same problem as for example non-drinking. You don't want to gather in a place and not do something, because that's just isn't fun. But I guess we could gather around the faith that there is a teapot circling around Mars.

Saturday, Halloween, almost full moon... What could possibly go wrong?
Seems like a hundred or so Elfpack images are broken. The other sites and the rest of Elfpack seem OK though.
Poor Krill really needs a new disk now, but it can manage with the current ones for the moment.
The sites are up now, but they are extremely slow as every failed image seem to take ages to (fail to) read.
Blärgh! Krill's harddisk is starting to fail and need replacement. It will take forever to copy all those files so the sites (www.elftpack.c
Maybe I start them with broken images earlier though.
Does God exists?

Unfortunately for them, the answer is that they got it wrong and is a tiny duped minority.
It was 98% no, but now it's actually down to 96% no and 1% maybe.
They say it's some sort of attack. Why God didn't stop that wasn't explained, but it has probably to do with testing their faith or something.
