It seems that your girlfriend is obviously developing some trust issues. If she is making an entire production over this, dump her on her whiny butt and find someone who's worth the effort. But if she is talking to you privately about this, I suggest you have a long talk with her and if she still cannot be convinced, the best thing to do is to break-up with her. If there is suspicion, there can be no trust and if there is no trust, there can be no love. The best of luck man, I hope it all works out

Obviously, it seems like your friend is influenced a lot by her mother, almost like she can't know something that her mom doesn't, so this I do say. Explain to your friend that being a friend means knowing when to tell and not to tell. Your friend is obviously confused. If it was about a matter of life or death, I can understand your friend telling on you. But, if it wasn't you tell this so-called friend of yours that your business isn't their mom's business and if they can't understand that, lose the twirp! If you are having problems the last thing you need is someone you trust, throwing out the friendship rulebook.
