Weis & Perrin: The Doom Brigate review

Another book of the vast saga of the Dragonlance world, though with a little twist. Now it is not about the heroes of the lance, but some small group of dwarves and draconians living in the same valley, taking turns in stealing each other's stuff.

The book gives you a totally new perspective in the draconian world. It is situated during the time the lord Ariakas took the power, but it only follows the lives of these two groups, co-existing in a weird relationship.

The book is quite funny at the times, but at least in the Finnish translation the language wasn't very good. It might be the translation and not the original, but in this book the language was perceptibly bad at the times.
For instance the translator hadn't taken any time in researching the early translations to realise that there is a Finnish word for "kender".
That was the most annoying thing because I do like kender.

This book is definitely for the fans of the Dragonlance saga. I doubt anyone else would make anything out of it.
