Undead Zoo! Zombie Drive

(Pretty much word for word copy of what my dad wrote, hope you enjoy!)

The Facility Training Grounds:

Anabell: watching Alex and David train. "Hard to believe he's the same boy we found four years ago."

Debbie: Yep, You and Jace did a fine job raising your boy~" David starts walking back towards them.
"And his abilities aren't the only things that have grown~" Eyes David up and down with a crooked smirk."Yep, you did a fiinnee job."

Anabell: Shakes her head. "Do you ever stop flirting?"

Debbie: "With all of these nice looking guys around? why look at the one next to you. Absolutely beautiful!" (clearly referring to Jace)

Jace: Trying his best to ignore the exchange between Anna and Deb, says to David, "Hows the trainin' goin' , pup?"

David: "Not bad, It's amazing what Alex can do with a knife, but I think i still prefer a gun or melee.
Holding a blade restricts some of the moves I could make without it."

Alex: "You don't have to hold onto the blade, you could throw it.
Besides, guns could be too noisy for some conditions."

Anabell: Nods slightly at both their points before speaking. "Blades have their uses.
That's why they are included in all soldiers training.
It's best to be prepared for any situation."

Debbie: to Alex and David. "You boys are looking good...and your skills aren't bad either."

Alex: ignores her statement. "Do you use blades Debbie? I don't think I've seen you use one."

Debbie: pouts slightly at the lack of reaction before replying. "My Specialty is the rifle, but I've been trained in all fields."

Anabell: "We work as a team so if you show a particular aptitude for one field over another, we will utilize your strength,
But if you get separated from your unit, these other skills could save your life."

Debbie: "In other words, I take care of long distant threats, Jace can finish of any that get close~
And our lovely captain here can orchestrate our efforts and take care of any unforeseen problems~
but don't let all this somber talk get to you down.
There are plenty of fun things to do too!
The Gym is equipped to entertain almost any sport you can think of!
Also the Game room has billiards, Ping pong, Computer Simulations, video games, & even old fashion board games...Of course you have to remind Annie that fun-time is important too."

Anabell: "My job is to make sure everything runs smoothly.
With you guys that's a none stop job, I don't have time to dally."

Alex to Jace:" There they go again...I think I'll go back to training now."

Jace:" Good idea, I'll join ya pup."

Debbie: Noticing them start to move away. "Oh no you don't! it's time for fun!"
Glances at anna before continuing, "You're scarring away my boys, you need ta lighten up." Addressing all of them. "Time for a Zombie Drive!!"

David: Notices that Anabell perks up at the name. "What's a Zombie Drive?"

Debbie: "We take one of the Rovers out on a joy ride to where a group of zombies are. You shoot a few to get their attention, then when they all start to swarm towards you, you drive around them and between them picking them off at your leisure~"

Jace: "In the ol cattle drives they'd frighten the herd an' steer 'em in the direction they wanted em to go."

Anabell: "But Zombies show very little intelligence and have only one thought in their had, and that is to feed. So no matter how many you kill they will still come to you, you never have to fallow or chase them once you get their attention.

Debbie:"Its really fun to drive around them . They keep trying to find out where you are and usually end up standing in one place, turning their heads to and fro.
That's great fun!!"

Alex: "Sounds wonderful, shame I have to go train some more."

Debbie: "You could come with us~"

Alex: "No that's okay, I'll just play with my knifes."

Debbie: "You're going to deprive me from my visual candy?" she pouted.

Alex: "No, you can still take David~"

Debbie: "David is nice on the eyes but /both/ would be better."
noting Alex shaking his head." David it is then."

David:"Jace is coming right?"

Jace: "It's really not my style.."

Debbie:"Are you saying you don't want to shoot zombies?"

Jace: "That's right."

Debbie: Lowers head. "It's settled then." raises head quickly and laughs. "You get to drive! Yahoo! I get to shoot, I thought I'd have to drive! Thanks Jace~"
Puts arms around Jace and kisses his cheek. "You're the best!"

Jace: to Anna. "Can't ya do anythin with her?"

Debbie: Before Anabell could speak. "Of course, she's my back up! I'll ride shotgun and she'll be in the back!...Except that will take her away from you and I can't do that.
So Annie will ride up front with you and I'll keep David company in the back~"
turns to David and gives him a flirtatious smile with a wink*

David: whispers to Jace: "Is she for real?"

Jace: "Ya haven't seen anythin yet.."

David: "Yeah..that's what i was afraid of."

Debbie: hearing the end of the conversation. "No need to be afraid, I'll take good care of you~!" bats her eyes at David.
"Come along sweety~!"
walks towards exit turning back to make sure they're fallowing.
"Come on! It'll be good training for David, and it's fun!"

Jace: "Guess we better go."

Anabell: " Well it is good training...and it can be fun."

David: to Jace: "o.o did Anna say it's 'fun'?"

Anna: -__- "I /Can/ have fun you know."
Fallows Debbie through the doors.
"Come on you slackers!"
continues past an old woman in the hall.
"Good morning, Betty."

Betty: "Good morning, Annie. Have fun killing zombies!"

Anna: "How did you know we were going out?"

Betty: "You have that gleam in your eyes, dear."

Anna: "Its part of the job."

Betty: Smiles knowingly. "Of course it is, dear."
To Jace and David as Anna hurries to catch up to Debbie.
"You boys are in for a treat, it's not often that, that girl let's her hair down.
A Zombie Drive is one of those times."

Jace: Nods to Betty before addressing David: "Come on pup. Can't miss this type of entertainment.
See ya latter, Betty." Goes after Ann to the elevator. 

Betty: Touches Davids arm as he starts to fallow Jace.
"Annie likes to retreat into a shell of responsibility and duty.
Try to help her lighten up, OK?"

David: looks a little surprised and confused. "Sure thing, Betty."

Betty: watches David go and says to herself. "I hope those three can get her to realize its OK to have fun.".

Elevator opens up to parking garage with all types of military vehicles.
The group head towards a large wheeled rectangle shaped one, its open on top except for a rollbar frame with harnesses attached to the upright bars.
Each seat except the drivers is designed to swivel at will, a full 360 degrees, with the seats in back offset from those in front.
unlike the other vehicles on display this one was quite colorful.

Debbie: "Hi boys!" She smiled as she waved at some Mechanics passing by.
"Hey, Debbie. Are you going to take out Thumper?" one asks.
"You bet! any problems?"

Mechanic: "Nope, we finished her inspection, we even changed the oil, tuned her up, filled the gas and did a rotate and balance.
You're all set to go."

Debbie: "Thanks boys! you're the best!"

Anabell: "Looks like someone was planning on going out all along."

Debbie: "I'm always ready to go out, and though I may have been planning all along, I wasn't planning all alone~ So you get to come too!"
