Follow the theme set down by: [wicked fae mage]. The theme is "hearts" however you see it fit.

As for content: I am allowing a blurred line for the pornographic rule that's normally set since love tends ta lead ta sex anyhow. O.O *ahem* As for violence, I'll blur the line too (makes a reference to 'My Bloody Valentine')

Mediums: Drawings, photos, photo manips, painting...whatever your creative mind allows. Perhaps I'll make sub-wikis for the different mediums?

Three entries per person. I may wanna change that, but for now that seems fine *shrugs*

A lot of people wonder why the heart is associated with love. Simply put, in ancient times, far before anatomy existed, emotions were believed to come from the organs. The heart was at one point credited with thoughts and being the seat of the soul, for instance in Egyptian mythology when you heart was weighed against a feather.

Some have suggested it representing the more lusty explanation of the ehart resembling certain parts of a woman's body.

Others suggest the seeds of the Silphum plant which had contraceptive abilities.

And a few suggest that it has something to do with the stained glass windows and Jesus though I haven't found a lot of information on this suggestion.
