Marybelle beganm to snore as she drifted off into a light sleep in Sai's arms, her tail curling up around her waist and atop his hand.

She turned in her sleep and groaned quietly, patting the bed beside her for Sai. When she did not feel him her face dropped unconsciously. She curled up and buryied her face into the pillows, her body shaking because she was actually cold.

Sai came back into the room looking down at marybelle. A slight chuckle coming from his thraot as he wondered over to her hoping into the bed. "What's wrong, love...The bed too cold without me in it?!" He grins.

She opened her eyes and looked at him, her brows perking a bit. "Huh?" She asked, not aware she had been shivering.

"It seems you were cold...I didn't know if it were because I wasn't in the bed or not..." He smiles nuzzling his nose against hers.

"Oh, I'm sorry.. Did I bother you?" She asked, kissing his nose softly. "I didn;t mean to, Sai..." She said, frowning slightly/

"No not at all...I was just looking about our huge love nest..." He smiles. "Wanted to see were we could place the baby's room...I think I've found a good spot but I'll let you be the judge of that..." He laid sown beside her. His strong arms warpping around her loosly. "Now I want to have you in my arms...where there is no fighting nor arguing..." He buried his face into her neck and hair

She smiled gently and nuzzled into his side, wrapping her arms around him loosely. "Later... When I'm not so tired.." She muttered out, her eyes shutting once more. "Hey, Sai?"

"Hm?" He rose a brow his eyes half lidded. "What is it love...?"

"I'm sorry for putting you through all of this.. I promise it will never happen again... While I'm pregnant.." she added quickly, turnign her head slightly to hide a blush.

"It's okay...I just don't want you to get too stressed out to loose the child..." He swallowed back hard, thinking of the feeling. "That would be a nightmare..."

A gasp escaped her mouth as he said this, her eyes shaking slightly as she looked at Sai. "Oh... I forgot that stress could kill a child due to damaging my innards..." She frowned and furrowed her brows a bit, placing her head gantly against his chest, suddenly a bit quiet.

"Hun...? Are you okay...?" He asked placing a gentle hand on her hip. "Did I upset you...?"

"No it's just... I don't wish to hurt our child..." She said with a whimper, shutting her eyes.

"I'll tell you what...after we eat breakfast and sort things out with Thanatos and Ai as promise we'll head down town and shop for the baby..." He kissed her cheek. "That should make you enjoy your day..."

"Thank you Sai." She said softly, a faint smile on her face as she nuzzled a bit into his chest.

"You're welcome..." He smiles running his finger through her long hair. His eyes slowly closed as he drifted off to sleep, holding her close.

Marybelle, too, drifted off into the sleep world, her minf filling with horrid pictures of dead babies and whatnot.

     ~~A few hours later~~

Sai hears whimpering in his sleep. He slowly turn out seeing Marybelle cuddled to his side. He turns so that he faces her, holding her in his arms. "Sweet heart...?" He placed a gentle hand on her forehead, hearing that the whimpering was indeed coming from her.

Marybelle was sweating a bit, her hair sticking to her neck and forehead. She turned slightly and rolled over onto her other side, laying so that her head was facing the wall.

She turned around and huggined Sai in a way to try to protect herself and the baby, her eyes shut tightly and her body shaking.

"Marybelle...What's the matter...?" He asked in concern, holding her close to his form. "Did you have a nightmare...?"

She sniffled and nodded, wiping her eyes in his shirt. "Dead babies... everywhere I looked.. being hacked at and killed... by their mothers... being skinned and mutilated... delimbed..." Before she could get anything else out she broke into sobs, her body shaking violently against his.

"What on earth made you think-" He stops remembering what he said to her about being streesed out when with child. He hled her close. "I'm soo sorry...Everythings going to be alright..." He cooed her, rubbing her back, and kissing her forehead. "That's not going to happen..."

She continued to shake, the tears still coming. "I... I..." She couldn't get her sentence out, her shoulders bowling slightly as she burried her face into his chest more.

"Calm down sweet heart...everythings going to be okay..." He placed a hand on her slightly swelled tummy. "The baby's fine...Nothing in this world would hurt or the baby...because they have to get through me...,Thanatos...., Ai...., Fugiri..., and posibly Kira if they want at you..." He smiles leaning down under the blanket kissing her stomahe. "No one or nothing is going to hurt you nor the baby..."

She sighed and slowed her shaking, wiping her tears away as he rubbed her stomach, then kissed it. She bit her lower lip, gently laying back onto the pillow. She shut her eyes and placed her hands over her face, covering her red cheeks. "I'm sorry... I must sound hysterical..."

"No..." He shook his head. "Not at all...You're worried and I thinks that's normal..." He pulled her back into his arms. "A mother who doesn't worry about her child isn't a mother...but a mother who worries about her child is truely indeed..." He whispered.

She smiled softly and ran her fingers through his hair. sighing quietly. "Thank you for trying to cheer me up, Sai... I really do love you, you are such a good guy..."

"Glad to be of service...and I love you..." He sighed kissin her forehed. "You are too good to be true...I don't deserve a woman of such kindness and beauty..."

"You're so sweet..." She said softly, kissing her neck softly and relaxcing her head against his shoulder. "I'm so lucky to have you." She placed her hand on her slightly flabbed stomach, pinching at the little baby fat she acquired.

"Hmmm...And I can't wait to see you get bigger..." He smiles. "You're going to look so cute and more desireable in that state..." He grins.
