        Chapter 5

Tsumire, Maichuziko, Suichi and a rather confused Azumi stood in front of the apartment building.

“Akira left about ten minutes ago. He’s fast so he could’ve searched half of the prefecture by now. We should split up.” Tsumire hastily said. Mai agreed.

“Good idea! Akira’s the strongest of all of us, but not one of the fastest.”

“We could find him.” Azumi just stood there holding her katana. Tsumire grabbed Azumi’s wrists.

“Okay, let’s go!” She said as she darted off, dragging poor Azumi with her.

“Auntie!” she yelled Tsumire was running so fast that her words were shaky and running together. Maichuziko and Suichi stood watching them

“I’ll check this fourth of the city.” Maichuziko said as she pointed to her left. “You check this side.” She turned around and pointed ahead. Suichi agreed. He started to walk/run but then Maichuziko stopped him.

“Oh, and Suichi … don’t be stupid. Don’t go yelling out his name.” Suichi nodded and ran off, Maichuziko did, too.

Tsumire stopped after awhile and turned to Azumi (who ran into her).

“You’re slow.” She lectured. Azumi looked surprised and angry.

“Me … slow? You’re too fast!” She said in her slightly perky voice. Tsumire sighed.

“Okay, Azumi, get on my back.” Tsumire was becoming annoyed. Azumi still looked puzzled.

   “Why?” Tsumire became angry.

“You’re too slow so I’m going to put you on my back to speed things up!” She almost yelled.

“Okay, okay!” Azumi muttered as she climbed onto Tsumire’s back. “Your’e too tall.” She said. Tsumire frowned.

“Don’t make me drop you.” Tsumire continued to run, only faster. It wasn’t long before she had to stop to take a breather. Azumi was heavy and Tsumire was only human. Tsumire bent over with her hands on her knees.

“Damn, girl! What does Ichika feed you?” Azumi took defensive action.

“Hey, it wasn’t all me! It you didn’t have such a huge chest it wouldn’t have been too off balance!” Tsumire stood straight up.

“Shut up, kid.” Azumi stuck out her tongue. Tsumire scowled at her.

“Now let’s just run.” She said. But before she could start, there was a loud crashing sound not for from them. Tsumire thought of two things; a crashing kitty or Akira’s dumbass. Tsumire then ran in that direction, dragging Azumi along.

“Pointless … mom was right. Tsumire inherited the recklessness of the family.” Azumi thought as she got pulled along.

Maichuziko started speeding towards the loud sound, which was strange because she was so far away from the others.

“What was that?” She thought. Then she ran into Tsumire and Azumi.

“Hey, small world, huh?” she joked.

“Mai, are you done checking your part of town?” Mai looked to the side.

“Yeah, what was that sound?” she asked in a serious tone. Tsumire and Azumi also looked in that direction.

“I don’t quite know. But there is a 99% chance that it’s Akira’s butt hitting broken glass panes.” She said back. Suddenly, there was another noise, a guy yelling. They knew that was Akira.

“Let’s go!” Maichuziko yelled. The three sprinted towards an alley. They lucked out when they saw Akira standing in front of a kid perched on top of a dumpster. The kid was Viper, no doubt. Akira was in an offensive stance with an angry look on his face. Like the one before, only steeper. Akira turned around and saw them.

“How’d you guy find me?” he yelled out. Viper laughed.

“You know, the more the merrier!” Akira was now officially pissed off.

“Where is my sword?!” he yelled.

“Oh, the weapon. You had an awesome sword, one of a kind! Who made it?” Viper smirked. Akira growled.

“Just tell me!” Viper smiled then laughed again.

   “Well … no.”

“No … NO?! NO! You WILL tell me, little boy or I’ll KILL you! I’ll break your thin little neck! I’ll – Hey!” Tsumire hit him over the head.

   “Hey, be nice!” she reprimanded.

Viper took this opportunity to disappear. Tsumire let go of Akira.

Their Ninja Stealth Skillz™ were trying to tell them something. The three (including Azumi) drew out their swords. Akira drew his out, a kunai. Neth appeared out of nowhere and began to attack Maichuziko, disarming Tsumire and Akira along the way. Tsumire and Akira helped out. Azumi just stood there holding her pink blade.

“How bring. Now I know my place in this book., the practically useless girly, flat-chested kid.” She thought. Viper appeared behind her.

   “Heya!” he said. Azumi jumped.

“Who the heck are you?!” she said. He finally fully materialized and looked at her.

“You look like the big boobed one … only shorter … and not as busty.” He said. Azumi scowled at him.

“Who are you to say that … your hair is blue!” she tried to make fun of him but with no success. “Besides, which big boobed one do I look like? I see three of them!” Viper sighed.

“The one with the purple streaks in her hair.”

   “Tsumire?” Azumi said spontaneously.

“Hey, who are you, anyways?” Viper asked.

   “Why?” Azumi snobbed.

“Because! I think out of all of those losers that I can trust you. So tell me your name!” Viper said. Azumi eye-examined Viper.

“Not particularly hostile looking.” She thought. “Fine, my name is Azumi. Azumi Tsukino.” She said to him. Viper let out his hand.

“I’m Kori Kobanishi. You can call me Viper Blade.” Azumi shook his hand and smiled.

   “Your name …” Viper said.

   “My name?” she murmured.

“It’s too girlish. Too yellow … your new nickname is …”

“Hey, buddy! What’s wrong with Azumi?!” she yelled.

“Nothing, but … not cool enough.” He said.

“Not cool?!” she cried. “That is true … Well, alright!”

“Now what to name you?” Viper looked around, and then it hit him. “Your new name is Angel … Angel Rose!” Azumi smiled.

“Okay, nice to meet ya, Viper.” Viper smiled.

“Nice to meet you too, Rose.” They stood there talking as the four adult idiots battled. Then an even shadowy-like figure came up behind them. Azumi noticed it.

“Viper, you can stop dematerializing now. I get it.” Viper frowned.

“I’m right here. I have to fully undo myself to expand my shadow.” Azumi looked behind her.

“Then whose that behind – AHH!” Azumi disappeared. Viper turned around.

“Angel – AHH!” Viper yelled out. The four fighters heard their screams and stopped righting. Neth looked around.

“Kori! Kori! Where’s my brother?!” she yelled out. Tsumire started searching for Azumi.

“Where’s your brother? Where’s my niece?!” Tsumire and Neth started yelling at each other. Maichuziko broke them up.

“Here, I found a note!” Akira actually started to listen.

“Okay … it says, ‘If you want the prep and the little spaz back, come fully armed to the abandoned warehouse … now.’”

“Let’s go!” Tsumire yelled. “We have to find Azumi … and Viper.” Akira swallowed his anger and agreed to go. Neth and Maichuziko trailed behind.
