Hidden Sand Village

Located in the Wind Country, the Hidden Sand Village is one of the top 5 greatest Shinobi countries. Being one of the 5 great countries, this village is ruled by a kage, namely the Kazekage. They are now on their tenth Kazekage by the name of Injegaku.

Kazekage weaved easily through the many ninja residents of the village that were going about their day, stopping only for mere seconds to greet him with a simple bow of the head, he hardly noticed. He found himself at the entrance to the building that held his room within it a lot quicker than he expected, he must've been thinking about something and then forgotten... His usual self. He took a glance back to make sure the young ninja was following him still and when he checked his simply headed on, entering the building and turning down a corridor that led to the Kazekage room.

Miname followed in silence, not saying anything when he seemed to not pay attention to Nin who greeted him. She, however, did give a solemn nod.

When the door was shut behind the both of them by a ninja outside, the Kazekage gestured for her to take a seat as he walked to take his own seat. "So, telle me about your trip to the village of Konoha. any trouble, or any delays?"

She did so, feeling more comfortable in the office of this Kage than that of the Hokage previously. "Konoha has the regulations that all outside Nin must perform their special jutsu and to show an ID card in order to access the village. I had no trouble, but a lot of my chakra was used due to my jutsu. Of which, the Hokage has agreed to allow your request of sending Sand Ninja to Konoha to help further protect their families. And she accepts the condolences you also sent." That was all Miname could say as that was all that she could say. It was the message she had to bring back. "And, a Jounin called Bakuto escorted me back here. I wasn't sure about if I would be attacked or not and knew I would not be able to handle a group with the low supply of chakra. We did get attacked, but it was nothing major. A simple distraction that the group, I think, was trying to see how intelligent we were."

"I see. As it should be, such regulations to enter a village with three powerful clans with major eye Kekkei Genkai. I'm glad she is taking her job so seriously, just like her ancestors and her sister." He said with a nod, turning his chair around so that he was looking out at the village through the large window shaped opening in the wall. "Ah, is this bakuto perhaps that or the child who's family was wiped out in the Moon village, Miname?"

"I believe so, Sir," Miname said, now recalling hearing of that incident whilst she was at the Academy when she was eight-years-old. "I suppose my Clan was in luck. We were not all wiped out, but only few possess the Kekkai Genkai now." She let close her one eye, remembering the day it had been ripped out, but she'd gotten it back, it was merely dead. There was no way of saving her eye. Instead of having a glass one put in, she just let it go. The socket was black, but now covered by the eye patch and her head protector. "Will I be permitted to go back to Konoha to lead the operation there?"

The kage simply stood up and walked over to the window, his arms held behind his back in a casual stance as he looked down at the people walking in the streets. He pulled his hat from his face, the veil coming from his face as well, and sat it on the chair, running his hand through his hair. "I really hate that piece of uniform, give's you bad hat hair." He said, smiling faintly. He turned around and looked att Miname, a simple nod in response to her question. "If you wish, then yes. If you do not wish to, there is other ninja qualified to do such. Do you wish to lead the operation, Miname?"

Eyes brightened at the small comment of the uniform Kages had to wear. "Yes, it does, doesn't it? 'Tis why I do not wear hats." She then nodded, becoming serious once more. "I would be honored to lead the operation, Sir."

He smiled and ruffled his hair gently and let it stank back up in a spikey way. "Indeed it does. Much better." He muttered. "Well then, form the troops and head out at sun down." He said, taking up a scrool he wrote up earlier that day and handing it over to the young ninja. "This is the proof that you will need to get the other's to listen."

Miname took the scroll and put it into a thin sack that was tied to her belt and and bowed to the older Ninja. "It will be done as you command it, Sir. I heard that there is a special tournament of sorts going on, is this true and may I ask, where is it held?"

"Of the leaf?" He asked, perplexed by the quesiton. "If so, then yes it is tru and it is held in the Forest of Death this year... How did you hear about this, Miname?" He asked, looking down at the desk and letting sun shine on his black hair.

"Rumors floating about the ANBU and the Genin. They talk about such things and I was merely curious. If it is in Konoha, then that is where the families will be." She said, smiling and standing up. "Is it a problem that I know of this tournament, Sir?"

"No, I would've permitted you to stay longer if you wished to be in it. Any ninja can enter in the tournaments of Konoha." He said with a curt nod. "Anyways, yes, the families are there."

"Ah, any Ninja can join? I might consider it, if it is not too late. It has been years since I last partook in such a thing. The Chuunin Exams were my last." Miname said with a small laugh, turning to leave and do what was asked of her. "Is there anything else you wish to speak to me or that I need to say or do, Kazekage-sama?"

"No dear, that is all. Have a nice trip back to the leaf village." He said, waving his fingers before sitting back down at his desk and writing a few things down on a scroll.

"Aye, I will Sir." She bowed one last time before taking three steps back and turning on her heel to the doors. Opening it, she closed it shut gently behind her and walked down the hallways, towards the meeting room where she knew her comrades would be.

There were ninja seated around a table, discussing and planing the guards of the city and whatnot. A few looked up as Miname walked in, a few ignored her and some just pretended to ignore her but knew she was there so they could finish their conversation. "Ah, Miname. Back from the leaf I see. How bad was it there?" One male asked as he stood and offered her a seat.

She ignored those who ignored her, and smiled when one took notice of her presence. "It was not bad at all. They are quite prepared in the protecting of their families. Our clans do not need to be as well protected as there's, but I do have a new mission that it is essential I get those who can leave the village to Konoha and stay there until the threat to bloodlines is gone." Miname took the seat offered, pulling out the scroll and offering it to be read by the only one who talked to her. "Here, Nazomi, you read it and then pass it around."

Nazomi pushed her chair in for her and stood behind her, since she was in his chair and there wer eno more opened, and took the scroll. "I see. How many clans do they have now, three? thats a heafy amount of major clans in that village, probably why they are deemed the strongest village out of the five great nations." He said, nodding as he opened the scroll. "I trust you were well taken care of, as well?" He asked, reading over the scroll and rolling it back up. He batted someone's arm with it gent;y and handed it off.

The scroll was taken and read over, some scowling and others smiling when they read over it. They began to murmur amongst themselves about who would be going and who would be staying. This was a huge step for them, showing that Konoha was beginning to trust them once again as they did before the great betrayal caused by Orochimaru long ago.

Miname nodded. "I was. The more famous Nin, Bakuto, helped me along. He was even kind enough to escort me back to the village as I was followed on the way to." She paused, watching everyone for a moment before continuing, "They have the rule that one must show an ID card and their special jutsu in order to gain access to the village without an escort."

"Ah, Bakuto Toko? You were followed back? by who?" He leaned himself against the table next to her and balanced himself with his hands. "Oh, I can understand why. Anyways, I am guessing that won't be necessary to show ID with the scroll from the Kazekage.

"Yes, but we all will show our ID and jutsu. I am not going to have the Hokage's Guard mistrust us due to the fact we came in without following their temporary regulations." Miname stated firmly, watching as the scroll finally made it around the table and back into her hand. She slipped it back into the pouch on her belt and sat back in the chair, one leg crossed over the other. The jounin sighed. "I think they might've been those who are the murderers. You forget, I still have a Kekkai Genkai, one of the few of my family who still possess it."

He nodded gently and looked down at his lap, shifting slightly so that he could glance at a few of the other ninja who were now quiet and staring at the leader of the mission. "Well, I think you've got their attention now, Miss. Miname. Also, I don't think it was just you they may have been after. Bakuto Toko is one of the Kekkai Genkai clans from the moon and claw village, his clan was all wiped out by all of this. He moved to the leaf village to get away from the killings only to dive head first into them."

"Ah, yes, I remember hearing of that tragic incident. At least I was fortunate enough to have been born to a mother whose family resides in the main villages, my father's true identity and life kept secret from her. She lives still to this day in quiet." Miname was starting to go off on a tangent and realized her mistake and cleared her throat to get her focus back. Glancing towards the Ninja, her comrades, she said, "We will split into two sides. One stays here, the other is going with me to Konoha. Even though we are the Elite Guard of the Sand village, our village is still top priority. This is why we go to Konoha's aide because even we are in danger. Decide now on where you wish to go, but remember, both places are equally life-threatening. Cowards are looked down upon."

A few of the ninja nodded but they all began to speak of thier descitions to each other, a low murmur washing over the room. When all the murmuring had stopped, Nazomi stood up gestured to the walls, the ninja seemingly getting the point. they all criss-crossed past each other, stopping when they got to their sides. "Alright, is it the right or left who is staying here?" He asked, the right side saying a firm 'Right.' "Well, there is your team then, Miname." He said, gesturing to the left of the room.
