HSWW Part 3

Hogsmeade

Harry sighed and looked around "Ron, Hermione where are you?" he shouted

Ron walked out of a near by shop. "Bloody 'ell, no need to yell."

Harry laughed and looked at Ron "Ron did you take a look at the paper today?"

"No I ha'en't why?" Ron asked befuddled.

Harry gave it to him "Well there is another negative post about me... that's not the worst part though the worst of it is that the Ministry has banned all magic. Not anymore is it not allowed in the muggle world, but not allowed anywhere."

"Blimee bastards at the Minis'try gone loony they have." Ron muttered.

Harry nodded "I swear Ron ever since Fudge got laid off, the Ministry has turned into an anarchy. I shouldn't say the same for Hermione because remember when we were first years she was such a book nerd. But look at her now she is turning into an attention freak"

Ron nodded. "Bit odd comin' from you Harry, but it seems you see the light."

Harry laughed "The light of what girls? Where in bloody hell is Hermione anyway?"

"Probably out studying or trying to free some house elf." Ron said.

"Actually, I was in the Three Broomsticks," Hermione said, walking from the bar. She had her hair pulled back into a sloppy bun, out of which stray strands fell.

Harry looked at Hermione "Were you drinking Hermione?" he asked her

"You really think I'd be drinking anything alcoholic?" Hermione asked, her hands on her hips and her voice answering his question with an underlying tone. "I was talking to Rosemerta...why are you so interested?" she asked. She'd been somewhat edgy for the past few weeks.

Their conversation was interrupted as Pansy stumbled up the hill. "Hello again." She said, a little out of breath from her run from Hogwarts. She looked at the group and frowned a little when she saw Hermione.

Turning at the sound of a familar voice, Hermione simply stared at Pansy. After a few long minutes, she crossed her arms and asked, "What do you want?"

"Well Ms. Granger," Pansy retorted back, "As much as I hate saying this, I've come for your help."

"Spare me," Hermione said, brushing past Pansy towards Hogwarts. She was walking rather fast and was leaving behind Harry and Ron to deal with the Slytherin.

"Hello Hermonie. Is everything alright?" Susan asked nicely.

"Oh, hi, Susan," Hermione said as she slowed. "Everything's fine. I just don't like Mrs Malfoy behind us." She didn't exactly look at Susan, but nor was she ignoring her.

"Well, I don't really know Pansy very well Hermonie but she seems okay, and back to the big picture, we all really need your help, as you know us using magic is banned we meaning all of us together needs to find out how to get it back to us, so Hermonie will you please help us?!" Susan asks Hermonie hopefully.

Hermione came to a stop and looked back up at the hill towards Pansy, Harry, and Ron. "I suppose telling you I already planned to help would be of little consequence now, right?" she asked, turning back to Susan. "I was planning to see about us using an empty classroom to continue practicing our magic."

"Yeah, that'd be great, but remember what happened last time we tried to use a classroom?" Susan said thoughtfully "That one Professor found out and you,Harry,Ron and some others could have gotten banned from here."

Almost as if she didn't hear that, Hermione asked retorically, "I wonder if the Room of Requirement would work, again." She looked to Susan. "Would you care to join me?"

"With all due respect," Pansy stomped towards Hermione, "We can't use magic at all." She took her wand from her pocket and flicked it, saying the first spell that came into her head. After nothing happened the first time, she repeated the gesture a few times more, still with no results. She gave a smirk towards Hermione, "See? Even if we could find a room to practice, the Ministry has literally stopped our magic. Now Draco and Luna are waiting back at the school and I highly suggest that you all come back with me."

"Pansy is right Hermonie. Even in that room, our magic is useless. That's why we need to work something out, with someone, possibly Snape if we have to." Susan said sourly as she looked at Pansy.

"Well said." Pansy nodded, glancing at Hermione. She turned to Susan, "How about you atleast come with me? If these guys don't care that all the years of training is all for nothing right now, they can stay here." With that, Pansy walked down the hill towards Hogwarts.

"Alright, I'll come." Susan said as she turn to start walking away with Pansy.

Pansy gave a satisfied glance back, "Right then. Glad to know somebody's coming." She gave a small glare towards Hermione as she and Susan walked back towards Hogwarts.

Harry caught up to them and sighed "Yeah but the Ministry has no control over the dark lord." he said with anger

"Which is why I have a sneaking suspicion that Voldemort has something to do with this." Pansy replied, not even bothering to look back at Harry, "If you're that concerned about Voldemort, you'd best not just sit here and argue with me." She finally spun around, "Look. Susan and I are going back to meet Draco. Enjoy the rest of your day," She said smiling and patting him on the shoulder, "And bother us with this some other time when we aren't plotting!"
