Coffee stained and ciggarett burned couches sit along two of the walls. The counter is a disgusting shadw of green and the walls have been stained yellow from cigaret smoke. A refrigerator sits in the corner humming loudly next to a coffee pot where the time reads noon in flashing red letters. A table in the center of the room is propped up with a book of matches and the chairs around it have definatly seen better days. A line of lockers stand against one wall, some of the more unlucky students had had their things confiscated. Some of the less savoury things were kept in those lockers. The only thing kept clean seemed to be the carpet, not a single layer of dust or cigarette burn on the pristine carpet.

Horror High

Sacha lay on the floor of the room, her huge trenchcoat billowed flat on the floor around her, opened to show the bony corset she was wearing that day. A cigarrette balanced on her lips, her arms behind her head and her eyes buried under swollen black lumps of mascara. Over her ears her huge scarlet headphones blared her angry white music. She tapped her huge boots together lightly, lost to the world. She liked that she finally found a spot to chill where people wouldn't bother her. Dr. Corollas had been cool enough to give her a key to the teacher's lounge under the strict condition that she not make him regret it. Corollas was a friend, and she didn't want to lose the only adult in the school who liked her in the least, so she abided by it.

Just then the vent on the ceiling started to make very strange, banging noises. Before Sacha could react, Rika dropped down and brushed some dust off of her jacket, "Oh!- Seemingly I assumed that the place I stand now would hold no other personals..."

Sacha did not react at all. Her headphones had blocked out all of the external sound and she hadn't noticed at all. She started to nod her head to the music, her face scrunching in a rocking out frown.

Max usualy looked for Sacha in the lounge before she searched any where else. She opened the door. Seeing her oblivious on the floor she spotted Rika behind her "What the fuck are you doing in here?" She aske "What are you stalking the places I plan to go before I get there?"

Rika scratched her head, "This is a maybe?" she asked herself, "Yes...it is." She turned and opened a fridge.

Sacha felt a small, cold breeze crawl across the floor and through her trench. She frowned and turned her head, opening her eyes to see Rika's brightly adorned legs and feet not too far away. Her eyes widened and she got up, dropping her headphones around her neck. "Th'fuck are you doing in here?" She yelled at Rika, then saw Max. "Did you bring her in here?" She scrambled to her feet.

"Taking the slim way is the preference that I assume to take." Rika pointed up to the vent she fell out of. She grabbed from bologna and gnawed on it.

Sacha's fists clenched and unclenched. She glanced at Max, unsure on how to feel about the whole situation. WWMD? What Would Max Do? she asked herself. She towered over the little asian girl, buttoning up her trenchcoat absent-mindedly. "You get everywhere via airduct, McClane?"

"Best nooks hidden by others tells me tis the best observing posts." Rika admitted, finishing her processed meat. She pulled out a little red notebook and wrote something down before shoving it into her jacket once more.

"Motherfuckers always getting in my goddamn business!" Sacha swore. "Th'fuck do you want, anyway, eh? I'm just trying to get some peace and quiet, what makes you think you've got the right to barge in here any time you very well fuckin' please?" She yelled down at her, her arms akimbo. She glanced nervously at Max, desperately hoping she would back her up here.

"Food." Rika admitted. "Question is equal to your residence here by that matter." She pulled out a juice box from her pocket and sipped at it.

The tentative knock on the door, even though it was open, announced Stefan's arrival. "I.. I guess there's no teachers in school at all..." he said, wringing his bag handle again Just my luck... I'll be dead by tomorrow morning...

Rika tilted her head a little, "Nyaw?"

"Don't look at me Sash." Max said moving out of Stefan's way and giving him a scowel "Every where I turn she pops up before I get there!"

Stefan flinched slightly as Max glared at him "A-anyone got a mobile?" he asked.

Max pulled her celphone from her coat pocket and looked at the screne. IT was black. Shge flipped it open in an atempt to turn it on. It didn;t respond "I charged this damn thing last night. What the fuck?"

Stefan shivered softly, rubbing an arm nervously "I d-dont like this..." He looked around at the room, wondering how the teachers had gotten out before everyone else.

"No shit Sherlock." Max said falling into one of the couches and lichting a cigarett. "By th way Sash, we're locked in. Electrified fence. Teachers missing. It's been a good day."

Jonah walked into the room with his backpack slung over one arm which hung over a gym bag, the strap of which crossed his chest. He let out an audible and frustrated sigh when he found within not teachers but, instead, a room full of idiots. "Have any of you seen Mr. Waterman?" he asked for one of the science teachers, looking at each of them inquiringly, but not as if he expected much of them.

Stefan has slammed against the doorway as Jonah had come in. It was a immediate reaction when seeing a Jock. He shook his head quickly, stammering out "N-n-no t-t-teachers i-i-i-in the sc-sc-school..."

Jonah stared annoyedly at Stefan before turning to the rest of the room as if to say 'let's start with an easier question.' "Do any of you speak English?"

"The worm meant to say that there aren't any teachers in the school." Max said flicking her cigaret ash into the floor. "We've been abandoned and the fence electrified."

"Could you have a little respect?" Jonah snapped, glancing at her cigarette. It was clear he didn't mean this respect to be for him, but for the building, and also was using this as a distraction so he could absorb the information he'd just received.

"No actualy." Max said flicking her ash again and blowing smoke in his direction "I'm void of respect. It's a condition I have. My doctors are trying to cure it."

"Good fucking luck to them," Jonah retorted with an incredulous smirk, dropping his book bag next to the door and then removing his gym bag and plopping it down, as well. "Put it out or keep it to the tray," he said, vaguely motioning toward an ashtray.

"Yes! Absolutely! Waltz right in and have a fucking cigar, all of you! Where are the rest of your bitch friends? Didn't you invite them, too? Oh, they must be stuck in traffic. Must be all the zombies blocking up the 10." Sacha swore, immensely displeased that her peace had been broken by all the people she was hoping to avoid. Except Max, of course, having her around was at least a bonus, however small it was in the face of all of these annoying people. She tamped out her cigarette in an ashtray she had been using and shoved her cigarettes in her pocket, gathering up her things from where they were serenely placed. "Have your fuckin' getting-eaten party, then, I'm out of here." She glared at Jonah. For the most part, she didn't really have a beef with the guy, but whoever Max was a bitch to, so was she, and Max was a bitch to everyone. She wanted to spit at Rika, thinking that she was the ultimate source of all of these people invading her space, but she still had too much respect for Dr. Corollas to risk messing up the carpet. The runt she completely ignored as she walked out the doorway in search of a quieter place.

"It's not your fucking room, dyke," Jonah spat at Sacha when she glared at him. He had set down his stuff in hopes of scouring the place for an exit, but now wouldn't leave as it might imply he was following her and therefore, instead, took a couple steps further into the lounge, standing straight as if daring anyone to tell him to leave it.

"Its more hers than yours moron." Max said scooping up her bag and following Sacha out. She didn't bother putting out her cigarett. It hung loosely between her lip.

Stefan shivered slightly and moved past Jonah as quietly as he could, heading for a phone in the room. He picked it up and put it to his ear, then jumped back and spilled the ash tray over the floor. The feed back from the phone had half deafened him.

Uriko randomly walked in with blood continuing to run down her hand and off of it and onto the floor.

Feeling VERY ignored, Rika jumped onto the table and into the vent she came out of. She quickly screwed the bolts shut once more and vanished.

"Are you okay Stefan?" Uriko asked.

Stefan blinked and stared "A-are you?" he said, gazing at her hand as he held the screaching phone far away from his head.

Uriko glanced at her bleeding hand and then back to Stefan, "Oh, It's just a little blood."

"Shouldn't you.. stop the blood?" Stefan asked nervously. He looked around, trying to see if there were any bandages around.

The blood from Uriko's wrist slowly stopped bleeding. "It's fine. I just need to clean off the blood" she told him walking to the sink and turned it on. Instead of water, blood slowly came out as Uriko screamed.

Stefan winced and rushed to her side. He stared at the blood and almost threw up. Luckily he managed to pull her hand out the way first and turn the tap off. He vomited into the sink, groaning loudly as he did. "What the hell..."

Uriko's eyes widened as the cut reopened and blood gushed out of it. She quickly started looking for bandages, but all she could find was white cloth. Wrapping her wrist tightly she flinched a few times from the pain. She looked up and a mirror was infront of her. She looked into it and saw something standing behind her. It frightened her. She quickly turned around to see what it was...but nothing was there.

Stefan saw it as well, but when he looked in the mirror again he saw it was just a large coat hanging on a rack. He gently took hold of Uriko's shoulder "I... I think we should go now" he said "Before your wrist start bleeding again..." He turned to Jonah "I... ummm... I dont think anyone should be in here."

"Ya" Uriko said quietly beginning to shake in fear. Her face showed no emotion, but her eyes said it all.

Stegan almost took off from the room, speeding away and shivering slightly himself.

Uriko slowly walked into the hallways, "You should get out of here too Jonah" she said walking out the door.

"Holy shit, you idiots are so easy to scare," Jonah said, watching after them. Admittedly, he had been irked when the faucet produced blood instead of water but refused to be shaken completely. He looked around for a moment, trying to assess the situation, before walking to the door and leaning out of it. "Hey," he called to Stefan and Uriko. "Where did that little pick-pocket go?"

Stefan stopped at the door before he left, turning and pointing to an air duct "She l-likes to wander around in there."

Jonah sighed again. He meant to make use of her, but decided he would have to do without. He pulled up his gym bag, putting the strap over his head onto his shoulder, and then slung his backpack over his shoulder, doing all of this as quickly as he could manage before he stepped out into the hall to catch Stefan and Uriko.

Stefan came in quickly, snatching up the speaker system and calling into it. "H-hello? Can everyone come to.. uhh.. umm... the main entrance hall please?" he hung up, shivered at the sound of his voice because it had come out so warped and ran from the room.

Aleksandr came into the teacher's lounge, flinching slightly when he felt a cold dead hand on his bare shoulder. He placed his hand on the end of the pole, oposite the zombie's head, and slammed it forward and through the dead being's soft skull. He shrugged the gripping hand from his shoulder and headed off to check for the school energy breakers. "Maybe they're down in the basement.." He mumbled to himself as he went around each wall, moving shelves out of the way and pushing other furniture out of the way. He set the lead pipe down on the desk before moving the door out of the way to reveal a metal door on the wall to which the switches were residing. "Perf-- Ah, hell!" He gritted out after feeling a zombie grab at his legs and bring himself forward to begin gnawing on his leg through the jeans. He kicked the zombie away. He opened the small door and flipped the main breaker before grabbing his lead pipe from the desk and limping out of the teacher's lounge, shutting the door on the hand of the zombie as it tried to reach out and grab him.

The power vanished, the lights flickered and faded into darkness. Now the only thing lighting the way was the moonlight, and the faint glow of the zombies eyes.
