After a few short moments of her head swimming when she reentered Soul society she runs to Shiro's room. "shiro??" She bangs upon the door and opens it finding Shinji's and Shiro's body. Her jaw drops and she rushes to Shiro's side afraid of what he had done. "Shiro what's going on???" She produces a hell's butterfly. "Medic NOW!" the butterfly speeds away.
'Storm.. please come.. I may need you my friend!'
"Mi-m...i-ch--
-in..." Shiro opened one eye and called Miyabi over to him. "I... d-id... i..t.... AH!" Shiro cringed in pain. "I am fine... Just have no more reatsu left.... Is he... a-a-live?" Shiro asked as he passed out again.
After Shiro passes out Miyabi checks his pulse and finds it strong. She rushes to Shinji to check his vitals. His heart rate is barely there. The medics show up and take them to soul society hospital. After two night of no sleep Miyabi returns to Shiro and Shinji's room from picking up her dinner.
For the first time since all of the madness in soul society with the appointing of Khi as the new high comandar and the sudden appearance of a living Shinji Takashi, Byakuya Kuchiki of one of the four noble famlies of soul society was finally out walking to the hospital curious to see the comander. Upon entering he sees a small redhaired girl sitting in the room eatting. "Hmn, you must be the one that they speak of, the human who made temporary captain at his request." Byakuya walks over to the captains bed and sees him bandaged and pale. "Taicho, you are too troublesome at times." Byakuya turns and looks at Miyabi again and silently walks out of the room.
Miyabi sighs 'I guess now that Shinji is alive again I lose my position...' She goes to Shiro to check on him. He was good. Then she checks upon Shinji. "You scare me sometimes" She whispers to Shinji's unconius body.
"uh? Ara ara, Mi-chan! Still talking to yourself?" Takashi opened his eyes to see Miyabi over him. "ah, I feel like I got into a fight with Kenpachi and he was letting lose. OW! how long has it been?" Shinji tries to sit up but his body is way too sore.
Khi cleared his throat and looked at the ground. He was holding a paper bag of all the things Shinji liked to receive when he was sick, plus a tray of food. "I'll just drop this off and see you both later." He walked over and placed the tray on the table beside Shinji and threw the bag lightly on the man's chest. He leant over and whispered in his ear, "If I were you... do not open that with her in the room. They are the lastest edition." He stood up, bowed and exited the room. "Oh and we need to have a talk about your return to first division captain."
Miyabi being startled she stares at him and falls over. Quickly getting up when Khi spoke she cocks an eyebrow at them. "Shinji.." She hugs him and holds him down fro trying to stand. She sniffles trying not to cry from relief and fear.
"Ara Miyabi-chan, you are pushing into my bad rib!" Shinji tucked the bag under his pillow before Miyabi could notice. "Miyabi-chan, would you excuse me for a moment then, I need to speak to Khi."
Khi walked around looking for Yura. He ran into Taki and smiled.This girl has to know where Shiori and Yura are... "Uhh Taki-san, have you seen Yura-san anywhere?"
"Yura-ni... No I can't say I do. Shiori was looking for you and Shiro before though. She's in the hot springs now." She grinned, a glint in her eyes. "Want me to get her for you?"
Khi coughed, trying to hold back a laugh. This girl reminds me of Shiro-kun "No no need. She can get me later, besides we know what she is like when she gets disturbed..."
Miyabi quickly moves away from Shinji afraid she would hurt him again. She gains a hurt look when he asked her to leave. "Have you not even considered saying hello? I have been here.." She stops talking and walks out upset. She had hoped that it would have been the same man but she knew.. somehow.. that he would never be the same. She calls from the hallway "If he were here he would come in Takashi. He's already gone." She leaves to go get some sleep and calm down.
"Ara... Khi you always rush off for Yura-kun... Oh well." Looking to the side of his bed he sees a small not Byakuya had left for him. 'Taicho, we must speak, send a hellbutterfly to me when you are able to meet. -Kuchiki Byakuya' "Hmn" Shinji put his finger out and sent the messenger to Kuchiki, who walked slowly into the room. "Ah its good to see you again, quickstep king Kuchiki." Shinji looked up from his bed.
"Hai Taicho, It is good to see you are well. I thought you should know that I found out some information. The captain of the 13th division is a traitor. He is of course the weakest of the captains but he planned to work with the arancar to destroy soul society. He was corrupt and thinks that with the help of esparda and his army that he can rule us here. I thought you would like to know. It is nothing personal, I am just fulfilling my duty sir." Byakuya bowed slightly to his comanding officer and walked out of the room slowly.
"Kuchiki-Taicho, you are an honorable man, thankyou for the information." Takashi knew better than to treat that man as a commoner, considering his objections when Takashi was appointed high comander. "Looks like we know why the gillians were forming now. Not supprising he knew this, he is an intelegent man that one. now, for that lazy bastard next to me. SHIRO!" Takashi grabbed the clock next to him and hit shiro with it. Shiro fell to the floor still asleep. "Ara what am I going to do with him?" Takashi leaned back and fell asleep hoping the rest would quicken his recouperation.
Miyabi passes by Yura in the hall to her room. "If your looking for father and son they are still in the hospital." Miyabi snapped at Yura.
Yura rises his eybrows. "You okay Miyabi-taicho? You seem mad."
Miyabi fumbling with her keys to her door she breaks down and kicks it. She screams in frustration at Shinji, Shiro and the stuipid door. She feels Yura's strong arms around her giving her a freindly hug and she breaks down in tears. "You'd think that after the fact that I've been awake and worrid about them both.. ESPECIALLY HIM THAT HE'D SAY AT LEAST HELLO! .. not to mention and I love you.." She crys as yura picks her up opening her dorr and lays her upon her bed.
"Stay here. I'll be back to check on you." He looks concerned at the sobbing Miyabi and quicksteps to the Takashi's room.
Khi smiled and was about to say goodbye, when he remembered he still had to get Shinji the other package. "Hey Taki, wanna come see Shiro-kun and Shiniji-sama? I bet they will be happy to see you..."
"Sure, I can tease Shiro about Shi-sama!" She grinned and clapped her hands. She grabbed Khi's hands and started dragging him along. "Let's go Khi-san!"
Shinji had finally finished healing himself using a technique he learned from the medical unit. Since he had such large amounts of Reatsu the technique was very effective. He got up and got dressed in his original uniform. Not being able to bear the look of it he pulled the Yukata out and left it open. The inside lining was crimson red. His hair was still short on the back and long in front causing a large protion to hang over his eyes. His scruffy beard had grown back and the look in his eyes was hardened and cold as if he had been through unimaginable horrors. He pulled the sleves off of his yukata showing the white of his first yukata. the tails of the black one hung out like an overcoat. he put on his captains cloak and left the rest of his uniform. He stood in front of shiro and shook him awake. "Get up, we have some real training to get to. Miyabi is useless for now, she can't compete with us, her time is still too low. Let us see if my sun has gotten any stronger!" Takashi got shiro up and dressed and the two walked to the door to find the 3 visitors standing outside. "Oy, what is everyone doing here for?"
Yura give shinji a cold look and turns his back whispering to Khi what was up with Miyabi. He turns back to Shiro and nods his head respectivly to him.
Khi stepped forward, "Takashi-sama... isn't it a little too early for you and Shiro to train? I mean, forgive me if I am to disrespectful... but maybe you should not try anything for a while?" Khi looked a little shocked at Shinji's clothes and even more surprised that he could be so cold to Miyabi-san. "Maybe you should also talk to Miyabi-san, she was a greatly saddened at your .... somewhat cold greeting?"
Taki grinned, and when no one was watching, she stuck out her tongue at Shiro.
Shiro stuck his toung out at Taki in retaliation and then flipped her off. "NYAH!"
Shinji looked at Khi coldly. "My friend, to you it may have only been a little over a month but to me it was an eternity. Imagine having to take on not only your darkside but combine it with the darkside of someone just as powerful as you. The waters of my consiousness had dried up and were replaced with the flames of battle. I have seen hell and it isn't pretty. This is the fate awaiting us if we cannot beat this next enemy and there is nothing more important than protecting this and the human world. I assume you are here to tell me you want to keep the title of high comander Khi-sama?" Shinji was completely different. He still had a soft spot for Khi but was annoyed at being told to appologize to Miyabi. ' She is a big girl now, she is a captain, she needs to start acting like one. the past month has given them more power but they are as soft as ever. Khi simpathizes for them too much. I need him here to be the good one, I can no longer be lienient or soft on them.' "Am I right Khi san?"
Khi froze, then laughed "Looks like you grew up a little bit, but don't call me Khi-sama. I don't need a inflated head. It does not matter where you stand Takashi-sama, I will always serve you." Khi bowed, before dragging Yura out of the room. "Yura-san, we'll help Miyabi-san okay?".
