As you walk forward the thundering is getting louder and you can feel the ground shaking beneath you. Pretty soon the sound and the shaking seems to be all around you and a centaur in the lead of a herd is running back along the track. It looks like the centaurs are being chased by something, but there's no time to wonder what. They're running straight at you!

You run as fast as you can but you can almost feel their frantic hooves thundering behind you, threatening to run you over. Your sense pushes through your panic and you veer off the path and let the centaurs run past you. When the last swish of their tail is out of sight you hear a screeching sound that can only belong to whatever was chasing them. You run as fast as you can back to the hogwarts castle where it's safe and you lock your self in your common room, the thundering and screeching still fresh in your ears.
