Igor, a name many of us are familiar with and usually associate with a misshapen character who serves as an assistant to a mad scientist. A name that certainly fits the character in this exquisite portrait as well. The black and white colouring of this piece with its elegant simplicity seems to hint at the simple nature of the character while the strong black background and shadows subtly implies the hunched, malformed figure of having a rather dark nature. A wonderfully chilling depiction of a familiar character and we certainly look forward to more such unique portraits. Well done indeed [Shreya]!
