City of Hoddmimir
Only beyond the hamlet does one realise the full extent of the city border, lined in walls of thick timber coated with intricate painted lattice. An outer wall serves as camouflage for the city, masking the beautiful designs. Seemingly supported by heavy pillars of treetrunks, the entire city is a forest floor so well in order that every movement is as choreographed as a dance. With the light passing through the treetops, this place is lit in an eerie glow of sunlight in patches. All of Hoddmimir is designed around an efficiency with nature, not harming the trees but instead increasing their lifespan to thousands of years in age. Such age is shown in the width of their trunks, so old that even shops carved out of their bark barely hinders their growth.

Riggenbark trots into down with as much grace as an ent could have, trying very hard not to squish any bystanders with his large stump-like feet. While waiting for Beowulf, Riggenbark checked all the holes in his skin to see if any hitchhikers had nested in him. He had not checked since before he began sleeping, so it was a good possibility that he would have to chase away a few squirrels and robins.
Beowulf followed behind his entish friend, making sure to keep enough distance so as to not be accidentally stomped by the large feet. He caught up to his friend and looked around the town square that they had stopped at. He marveled at the beauty of it all. "This is my kind of city. I may have to return here after I secure the trade route for Midgard," he said more to himself than others, even though Riggenbark may have heard him. "Can I help you in any way my friend?" he said to the large walking tree.
With a bit of a sigh,
Riggenbark shook his massive head, "I am afraid not Urlu, I've a nest of cheepers." He scratched his head and was somewhat alarmed when a squirrel popped out and scrambling down his arm, body, and darted to the ground from his leg. "Freeloader!" the ent shouted at the fleeing rodent. "Come Urlu," Riggenbark said after calming down a bit, "Where would you like to go? The Demesne is likely where they took lady Uldrahad."
"Then to the Demesne we shall go, for I wish to finish my mission and then return to this beautiful city,"
Beowulf exclaimed to his entish friend. He was overwhelmed with the beauty and wonder of this new city and he longed to learn about it.
"That way I would imagine."
Riggenbark pointed, and then watched Beowulf. "Urlu, I have brought you to Hoddmimir. You must go about your business alone from here." he said, trying to convey the message to the little human.
"As you wish, kind sir. I thank you greatly for guiding me thus far and I pray that we meet again in the future,"
Beowulf kindly said with a bow. He smiled at the ent and then waved goodbye as he walked towards the
Hoddmimir Demesne.
Riggenbark and Beowulf had said their goodbyes, and the ent retreated back into the woodlands to continue with his sleeping.
Beowulf entered the Town Square and realized that he may need a bit of a different weapon. His weapons were fine for human targets, but for beasts he was poorly equipped. He looked around and found a sign that pointed to the Market and so he went to the
Hoddmimir Market.
Beowulf kept his pace as he entered into the town square and kept moving to the
