Jonathon followed her to the car "Fine. When this goes great and we catch a killer tonight I will be more then happy to take the blame" he walked around the car and climbed in.

Diana laughed. "what makes you think that's going to happen!" She said, starting the car up. She begane to back out wacthing for anything.

Drake poped out of the trunk and started tying a rope to the rear end bumper of the car "havent done this in a while" he chuckled

Diana began to to pull out when there was a slight yank she stoped right away, and looked behind threw the back window and saw the cause. Diana got out of the car walked over to Darak and poped him one in the back of the haed. "Oh you better hope that this car is one peace or your going to be put down!" She yelled still driping wet. Pulling a pocket knife out of her jacket she cat the rope. Diana grabed Darak by the neck and threw him in the back seat. Her face was red, and she looked like she was going to kill somebody. This car, was her life at the moment. Her sister's husben had fixed it up and made it look new. She'd shoot her self if it got damaged.

Jonathon smiled at Diana got back in the car "First, it will happen because Im on the case. Second, dont worry about the car. You said her husbands a grease monkey. Im sure he would love a reason to play with it a bit more" he leaned back in the seat "Besides, if you havent noticed, we are dripping ichy mud monster all over her precious interior. Im sure a loose bumber wont bother her to much"

"that was my thought on the situation" drake said rocking back and forth in the seat.

Diana looked at the two finally getting on to the highway. "Thats not the ponit, I paid for this car and it's repairs...It's not her car but mine...Arcia only divres it, cause I don't have a place for it... and I really can't afford to get it fix!" Diana pulled of the highway to the inner city road. But the interior part was very true. Diana sighed. Now where was she sappose to go frist?

Jonathon yawned "Coffee" he said without looking at Diana.

Diana truned the coner and drove to the nearst caffee house. She pulled into the parking lot, and stoped. Diana pulled the keys out and put them in her pocket. She couldn't belive how fast time was flying by. She cracked her lower back, and got of the car, She was drying off a bit. But she really wanted a shower...

Jonathon got out of the car and walked into the coffee shop, grime covered jacket and all. "Yall coming?"

Diana brushed her pants off as much as possable, grim about being seen this way. "...Yeah yeah... hold on to your panties..." Diana said walking up next to him. She was glad it didn't look busy.

Jonathon, all smiles despite being covered in grim and still wet from the river, walked up to the counter "I would like the hottest most caffinated thing you have" he turned to Diana "And what would you like?"

Diana looked up at the girl, she was smilling but still could tell she was wondering what had happen to them. "Um... I geuss just a coffee..." She said, it was warm inside the cafe, her mind was wondering, Diana pulled out her wallet,.

Jonathon shook his head. "Ill cover it. Its not much. Plus, I have a frequent customer card" he pulled out his wallet and handed over the cash for the drinks. He grabbed the drinks, handed Diana hers, and headed back to the car.

Diana took her drink and looked at him for moment. "um thank you..." Diana said walking to her car. She unlocked the doors, and got in. "...where did you wanted to go, cause, I really want to get out of these clothes..." She said starting the car.

Jonathon climbed into the car "How about you drop me by my place. Ill change, get a couple things. You can run and change and then swing back by and get me. Whatcha say?"

Diana looked at him but agreed. "So where do you live?" She asked sipping her coffee, waiting for the address. Diana turn the heating on, she looked at people walking by.

JOnathon smiled "Ya know the big apartment building on 109th? I live in there"

Out of nowhere Lucian appeared in front of the car. "Mind if I tag along? I forgot my weapons when that thing attacked so I had to go and get them. Now here I am. They are with me now so I'll be useful to you?" Lucian said almost grinning.

Diana jumped when she saw Lucian. "What the -" She sat in the front for a moment unsure how he just got there. "ah er um... ok?" She said, Diana waited for him to get in the car, then drove off to Jonathon's apartment. It only took about ten minutes. She didn't live that far away, living on 5th ave. But she stoped in front of the building.

"Yeah I can teleport. I didn't want to scare you away when we first met so yeah and sorry I did take too long." He said with some remorse in his tone. When this happened his outfit changed immediately to a slight blue color. "Oh and this happens to. My clothing changes to match my mood along with my eyes" He said. 

Jonathon raises an eyebrow at Lucian "Interesting. THat would explain how you disappeared earlier" he shook his head "Ok, Ill be ready and waiting when you get back" he got out of the car and headed to his apartment.

Diana nodded. "Ok, yoou better be..." She smiled then pulled off. "Thats very cool, I wish i could do that! it would save me loads of cash on clothes!" She said, pulling up infront of her building she lived in. "I will be right back, so wacth the car... I need to change out of these drity wet close's" She said smiling getting out of the car, keys in hand. She road the elevator, up tto the 26th floor. It didn't take her long to shower and get dressed in her Short jeans and White tennis shoes, and her deep V neck tank. Diana was on her way down while she pulled her damp clean hair back into a pony tail.

Jonathon got into his apartment, showered really fast and changed clothes, putting on his Metallica t-shirt and trench coat. He wandered the apartment putting a few select items in a backpack. He grabbed his revolver and his batons, slidng both in the bag as well before grabbing his cowboy hat and heading back outside. He took the stairs instead of the elevator, not wanting to encounter to many people. He walked outside and stood off to the side to wait for Diana and Lucian to return.

"I'm back but she is still doing something.....I don't remember what. So what are you exactly?" Lucian asked Jonathan.

Diana made it back to her car and saw Lucian was gone. "Talk out in a hurry..." She said, getting into her car, and pulled out into the road, driving back to Jonathon's place. Where she saw the two, and stoped infornt of the two.

"Speak of the devil, that was fast! Well where to next?" Lucian said smiling and opening the door of the car.
