Chapter Five

Ayumi heard the very very faint laughter from across the border and looked out the window.
Ryu noticed but continued to look at Lee. "What kinds of feelings are you getting off these 'visitors'?"
Midna's laugh slowly died down. "Oh? What was that? Navi?"
"I feel evil around linh and no clue about link! I think he does what ever linh tells him to do though." lee said
"What did you do!" Navi yelled angrily.
Midna laughed evily. "Oooh....it's the little fairy. If you must..." She slowly floated back to the throne room door. "Ready...to see what you came for?"
Ayumi was seeing the images of where Midna was, staring out the window.
Ryu looked over at Ayumi before looking back at Lee. He knew of his daughter's fate..."So...you believe this girl that the Hero of Hyrule has following him is full of evil?"
"something like that." lee said.
Navi sighed and looked at minda.
Midna laughed and opened the throne room door. Inside, there was blood everywhere; Splattered on the walls, ceilings, everything. Around the throne room, there were guards dead, some had missing limbs, which were thrown around the room as if something had tried to tear them apart. SOme of them had pieces of flesh missing, eyes dangling out of their sockets. Midna shuddered at the intensity. Finally, she floated over to the king. His head...was barely dangling on his shoulders, his eyes still wide open from fear. His heart had litereally been torn out of his c hest, as had his rib cage. His arms were broken in various places, and one of his legs had been torn to shreds, the bones showing through the skin. He was slouched over in the throne room chair. There was a sword in his mouth, stabbing out the back of his head, keeping his head pinned upright in the chair.
Ayumi saw all this...and vomitted by the window.
This concerned Ryu, whom now looked over at his daughter. "Ayumi?"
Link shuddered and held Linh tightly.
Navi gasped in horror."Why did you do this!" Navi said angrily
Lee walked over to ayumi."Are you sick?" He asked.
Linh sensed something." I-I really don't want to go to the castel." she said.
Link looked at her. "Linh...we have to. One, to make sure Zelda really is missing. and to get our orders from the king..."
Ayumi shuddered, placing her hands on the window sill. Her eyes were wide, and she had turned very pale. Also, her eyes were black. "What...the fuck..."
Ryu stared over at them. "Ayumi...what did you see?"
"S-something...horrible. All of...Hyrule could be doomed..."
Midna looked at the fairy, still covered in blood. "Because! It's splendid!! Without Zelda here, and now that the king is dead, Hyrule can become Twilight again!" She grinned.
"You sick little imp!" navi said. "you and linh have gotten link into trouble time and again!"
Linh shook her head angrily."No I-I think something bad has happened."
Lee looked at ryu then ayumi."Will some one tell me whats going on?" He said.
Ryu sighed. "Both of you...come sit by the fire..."
Ayumi opened the window, feeling the cool air on her bare skin of her arms. She let out a relaxing breath, and then nodded, folloowing her fathers orders.
Ryu looked at them both. "I believe it is time I tell you..."
Link looked at Linh. "what's wrong...?"
Midna smirked. "Heh...I've gotten Link OUT of trouble too, you feverish pixie."
"I'm telling link what you've done!" She said. Navi went back to link and linh. "I really don't think it's a good idea to go link!" Linh said.
Lee nodded and sat down.
Ryu manipulated the fire so it died down some, sensing that Ayumi was uncomfortable around it. It also created a mood for the legend he was about to tell. "There was once...a legend passed among our youth in the village. However...a few years ago, it was stopped. Stopped at Ayumi's birth, as a matter of fact...it goes as follows...
A long time ago, there was a young girl named Koyuki. She was a very frail, pale, and beautiful girl. Her skin was almost as white as the snow, her hair silver like the light of the full moon. The only thing that was dark about her was her eyes. They were blacker than the blackest coal. But they were soft and kind. She, Koyuki, was the princess of Startica.
One day, however, winter hit much too early. The cause? It was a disturbance...
Koyuki was very tuned with nature. She felt all kinds of things. One day, she saw the disturbance; An ice dragon named Tsuyujimo. She made it her destiny to destroy this dragon...
And she barely succeeded. With the last thrust of her Yukijorou Blade, she slew the dragon. But not all would be forgotten.
With the dragon's last breath, he muttered a curse. In One Hundred years, history would repeat itself...with or without the princess."
Ryu concluded his story. "She did not slew the dragon alone. She had help from her best friend, lover, and an unknown hero. It has been 100 years that this has happened..." He looked at both Ayumi and Lee with somewhat stern eyes. "Tell me...what you believe."
Link looked up and saw Navi. "Where...did you go to?"
Lee said nothing but was laughing slightly in his mind. The man looked funny in the lighting so he couldn't help it.
Linh sighed."Midna killed the king didn't she." Navi nodded."You had something to do with it don't you!" Navi yelled angrily.
Link looked between the two. "Don't...start anything. What bout the king being dead, Navi?"
Ayumi looked up at the ceiling. "Well...I find it...Odd."
"Odd? How so?" Ryu smiled slightly.
Ayumi thought. "If this legend was stopped at my birth, obviously someone's wanting to hide something. That girl sounds...very similar to me. And 100 years have passed. The winters are hitting sooner than they should, very badly at that. There's a princess here, no doubt, but probably not the one the Dragon would be looking for. Either way, she's still here..."
"He was-his head was choped off! and a sword stuck in his mouth his leg was chewed up and everything!!!" Navi said.
Linh said nothing.
lee sighed." I agree with ayumi. Also i think we should talk to those people!" he said.
"Ayumi...what was it that you saw...?"
"King...the king...of Hyrule..." she shuddered at the memory. "He's....dead. Murdered...brutally..."
Midna reappeared in front of Linh, smiling at Navi. "Come now, it's not that bad..."
Link looked confused. "Wait..."
"You and linh ploted this didn't you." Navi said angrily!"I knew you two were troble! I knew it!"
Linh sighed hevily.
lee looked at ayumi.
Ayumi wrapped her arms around Lee, resting her forehead on his shoulder. "I dont'...want to think about that...not ever..."
There was a light knock on the door, and Ryu jumped. "Come in.."
Aura walked into the hut, carrying a somewhat large basket on her head. She set it down near Ryu. "The last of the fruits and vegetables that I could obtain from the forest before the snow devoured them..." Her eyes were somewhat shining with an unknown knowledge.
Midna looked at Navi. "Why do you have to always sound so accusing, you freakin pixie?"
"Your both of twilight! you are both evil!" Navi said.
lee sighed and wispered to ayumi."sh-should we tell her?" he asked.
Ayumi moved slightly, feeling somewhat weighed down. "Z-Zelda..."
The princess looked over at her. "What's...wrong?" She looked off towards the mountains, muttering. "Midna, what have you done this time?"
Midna let out a shrill laughter. "Evil?! Calling US EVIL?! By far, we are the FARTHEST from evil you'll ever meet!!" Her eyes grew serious as she glared at Navi.
Navi flew behind link. And linh stood up."Thats enough!" Linh said angrily." I will show your what true evil is if you both don't shut up!" Linh said angrily.
lee sighed.
Ayumi stood up. "The king...He's...been murdered..."
Zelda's eyes grew narrow. "I thought so...I felt...an odd disturbance beyond the barrier...I have no choice...I'll have to return home..."
Link looked up at Linh. "D-did you...really help Midna..plot?"
Linh sighed and shook her head."I really had no clue what midna was going to do. All i said was that i missed the twilight relm."
lee sighed." I think that linh girl and minda might have something to do with it."
Ayumi stood up and walked towards the door. "Storm or not, I'm not letting them get by with this..."
Zelda blinked. "Ayumi, what can you do?"
"Protect this realm...from destruction." She walked outside, into the snow, which was up to her knees. "Wow...it's snowed a lot..." She glanced up into the night sky. "And if it doesn't slow down..."
Zelda followed her. "Come on...we'll go together..."
Midna smiled. "I'm bringing the twilight back to Hyrule!"
Link looked between Midna and Linh. He sighed lightly. "I"m going...to go find Ayumi. And talk to her. I want to ask her a few things..."
Linh said nothing but nodded. her blue eye's were sad looking.
lee followed after them."I'm going to take care of that linh girl and midna!" He said angrily.
